My love for reading developed at an early age. My parents, Daniel and Gwendolyn Odidison, were both avid readers and encouraged me to read as much as possible. Trips to the public library were the highlight of my week and by the time I was in junior high I was reading everything from biographies to suspense to True Confession magazines!

I got my big “break” when I was only fourteen-years-old. I read my first poem at my local church and received a standing ovation. Reading my poems and seeing my plays come to life on stage proved to me that I had a God-given talent for the written word.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education, I hugged my family goodbye and boarded a plane for Seoul, South Korea. I loved every minute of living in Seoul. The people, the food, the culture, the shopping. Three years later, I returned home with a fresh outlook on life and a gorgeous fiancé (yay me!) Jean-Claude and I married, settled into our new home and now have an adorable, three-year-old daughter named Aysiah who keeps us very busy.

I penned my first novella while teaching in South Korea and upon the advice of a good friend and colleague I transformed, Other People’s Business, into a full-length novel. I wrote The Trouble With Luv’ soon after. Two years and thirty rejection letters later, I signed with super-agent Sha-Shana Crichton from Crichton and Associates. Six weeks later I had a two-book deal contract with Harlequin’s African-American Romance line, Kimani Press.

Her Kind of Man, and Love T.K.O. were both released in ’08, and this year there are more scintillating stories to come. I’ve written seven books now, but I feel like I’m just getting started! A huge thanks to all of you who attend my book signings, send me I-love-your-book-emails, leave messages on my Facebook page and who are recommending my books to other die-hard romantics. Sage Collins and Marshall Grant will heat things up in Games of the Heart (August 2009) and a feisty PR Director and a fine, ex-NFL running back rekindle the flames in Passion Overtime (November 2009). Read an excerpt of my novels under the heading Books.

If you enjoy a good romance story, rich with desire, scorching HOT love scenes and a few unexpected twists and turns along the way, you’ve come to the right place. Grab one of my books, recline in a comfy chair and enjoy the ride! I guarantee you’ll love the heroes and heroines featured in my stories. They’re strong but flawed men and women who are just looking for a little love and tenderness! That’s all for now, friends.
Happy Reading and be blessed!

I found this book enjoyable once I started to read Ms. Byrd's story. It was exciting and kept me interested. I have never read Ms. Yaye before and don't think I will she repeated herself over and over again. I only kept reading as I thought it may change .

This was a really good 2 book story which is actually a series. Book 1 is called "Hollington Homecoming, Volume One: RSVP with Love\Teach Me Tonight" which I read out of order LOL!!! My reading when it is interrupted I takes me a minute to return back to the story and when I did, I was very happy.

Kyra Dixon is the PR Whiz Queen at her alma mater Hollington University, a historically Black College. She is living her dream until her nightmare that happened over 10 years ago is about to come back to her school, his name is Terrance Franklin, retired NFL football star. They were hot and heavy, senior year of college, Terrance was recruited by the NFL he wanted to marry Kyra but was talked out of it by his agent and the team. He broke up with Kyra via email and broke her heart, she was never the same and was happy to never see him again face to face. Till her school wants to recruit him as the head football coach and Kyra has been instructed as the lead to get him signed.

Terrance Franklin NFL football star, multimillionaire, businessman, eligible bachelor and the list goes on and on. He is coming back to where it all began for him, Hollington University. And where he suffered his greatest loss, Kyra. But Terrance is smarter, wiser and more mature, he is determined to right the wrong he did to her but he knows it will be an uphill battle to even get her to talk to him beyond recruiting him for the job. He also knows Kyra is as stubborn as the day is long and she will not tolerate anything foolish from him. Terrance knows this is the biggest game of his life and that is winning back the only woman he has ever loved.

Beverly Turner, doesn't want to go to the Hollington Homecoming, she wants to avoid that place like the plague but her friend Kyra won't take no for an answer. Beverly is a successful fashion stylists and designer, she is also wounded after suffering a terrible loss and an ugly divorce. Beverly just wants to work and leave the world behind but she knows hiding isn't an option for her, not with her best friend Clarence to make sure she turns heads and gets her groove back. So when Beverly walks into the Bar Lounge in her drop dead gorgeous dress, she gets the attention of practically every man in the place and one particular gentleman, Lucius Gray has determined that the Lady in Red is going to be his.

Lucius Gray is a high profile attorney and partner, he works long hours, a divorcee and a doting dad on his baby daughter Ruby. He isn't looking for attachments because he is a workaholic and trying to get better with being with his daughter if not for his vindictive ex-wife. So a no strings attached, friends with benefits is more his speed but we all know that things don't always go according to our plans. Love has a way of sneaking up and into the heart and before you know it, your ensnared and not looking to let go no time soon. But as Beverly tries to through up the barriers, Lucius so effortlessly takes them down. Beverly doesn't know it yet but Lucius has no plans on letting her go, he is determined to make her his forever.

A great read by both authors and I highly recommend this story and the first one.

Oh man, I didn't even want to give this book 1 star. The writing and the characters in this book make eyes roll so far back in my head it hurts. I can't even think about this book anymore. No more review.

Here you have books 3 and 4 in the Hollington Homecoming series which featured PR Rep Kyra Dixon and Former football (College and Professional) Terrance Franklyn, who were once engaged, but a misunderstanding 10 years ago tore them apart. The other story is about Former Homecoming Queen Beverly Turner ( Who has an aversion to getting back on the homecoming float) and workaholic attorney Lucius Grey. The last story was kinda my favorite, on account they balanced each other out.
