"I don't want to…" I heard my daughter's quiet voice. "Please don't make me…"
My heart raced, and I felt the anger inside me grow. What the hell were they doing to my child?!
"Please, no!" I heard her scream. "Don't make me!"
I tightened my jaw to stop myself from screaming.
"Please!" she screamed again. "Lex!"
I felt my soul shatter into countless tiny pieces, and a sense of helplessness overwhelmed me like never before in my life.
After Sophia goes missing, her mate and family are left with nothing but unanswered questions and a gnawing sense of dread. Desperate to find her, they begin a frantic search that leads them down a dark and dangerous path.
As they dig deeper into Sophia's disappearance, they discover that an old enemy has taken her captive. They are determined to find her, but as they draw closer to their goal, they realize that the darkness has already taken hold of Sophia. She is no longer the person they once knew, and they must face the chilling possibility that they may be too late to save her.
Will Sophia's mate and family be able to rescue her, or will they be forced to watch helplessly as she is consumed by the darkness that has taken hold of her?
This is book 5 of the story. Book 6 is coming soon to complete the series.
I love this story line, but this book was too short. I feel like the series is getting drawn out at this point and she’s trying to stretch it into more books than it needs. I hope the next book in the series is the final one for this story arc.
Awww poor Hunter, he would do anything for Sophia. Such a good good story and I need to read more between all of these characters. Definitely recommend everyone to read the whole series, it’s worth it!
This book series is an EXCELLENT reason why I HATE the algorithms on social media. They recommended the previous book via a different app so many times with 2 different scenes. The first scene (in the video words) had a fascinating concept of a rejected mate going to live in the human world and being found. The comment section had the first 3 chapters of the first book in the series. NOTE: they're not the same book. So i finish that book, somewhat enjoying the story, liking the main character, but hating all the spelling, grammar, and proofreading issues in the book, even though EVERY character is too flat. I kept reading, hoping that we'd get to the teaser. Then it didn't come. So I read the next book...and the next book...and the entire 6 book series. By the end, I continue hate reading through the atrocious writing hoping to get to the scene. SPOILER: it's not there. there is no scene where this Luna removes herself to the human world. If you're looking for that, prepare to be disappointed like me. If you're hoping the book series gets more interesting, sorry.

This one was just a money grab. Worst book of all 5, BY FAR. There. Review done because almost anything happened at all.
I can even resume it in a few sentences so you don't have to go through this snail fest, here you go:
- she's trapped by the witches who were allies of Nathan's dad/Hunter's grandfather. - darkness consumed her and she became way too strong. Killed all witches and Nathan's dad/Hunter's GF. - they managed to lock her up in a special room and watched her consistently. She was being a bitch to everyone in general menacing everyone. - Sophia disappeared but somehow her wolf, Stella, managed to still mind link Alex (?). - they managed to bring Stella to the surface and Hunter marked her while the demon was away. - Sophia came back but then we found out it was momentarily and the darkness wasn't gone as everyone thought
The end.
Now you don't have to read this book and just skip it to the next and final one.

Sophia being kidnapped has taken a toll on everyone she loves. It’s breaking everyone’s heart not knowing where she is, if she’s alive, what’s happening to her, just not knowing anything. But when Emma comes up with a spell to “connect” with her she only knows she’s alive but the darkness has taken over. Sophia’s wolf Stella reaches out to Alex, she tries everything to help him find her. Hunter’s pack warriors and Alex’s pack warriors are able to locate an abandoned building in the middle of the woods filled with rogues, can they rescue Sophia before it’s too late? Can the bring her back from the darkness? This book had me on the edge of my seat. Can’t wait to read the final book and see how this story ends!
This book is the epitome of the Dark Bloom episode of Winx Club. These books are already cringey as fuck and with Sophia’s POV while she was the demon, it was even worse. Also, I feel so bad for Hunter. It feels like every other character took precedence over him as if he isn’t her literal fucking mate . . . Everyone else got to see her before him and that never happened in the original trilogy. I feel like that’s part of the reason why there never should’ve been a second trilogy about Emma and Logan’s kids, because the author still managed to make this book more about Emma and Logan than Sophia and Hunter and with the way this book ended, book 3 is going to be EMMA’S book, not Sophia’s.
Loved this book! Sophia and Hunter are amazing. They love each other so much. Sophia is fighting her darkness and it's take their entire family to bring her back from the dark!! The fight is intense and emotional. Hunter had just found her he won't let her go! Emma & Logan are trying to save their family but also keep their pack safe because they don't know what Sophia is capable of and they have to be prepared for anything. Buckle up it's a wild ride. I can't wait to see how this exciting and entertaining series ends. Happy Reading!!
This book of the series was a little better than the last one but I feel the plot is similar to book 3 when Emma is kidnapped by the Rouge King. The big bad villans have such a build up but when we actually catch up to them in the story, its very underwhelming. Emma and her daughter both have magic. Sophia has darkness in her which makes her dangerous and more powerful but there is no real exploration of their magic or Alex's strength. Most of the plot line is repeated through out the series.
I liked the twists, turns and violence but the exorcism type scenes , monologue, taunting and overall ridiculousness that went on for chapters I started to root for the demon to kill everybody. I was so bored with the ending, well from approximately page 160. Luckily the book is not that long... I gave it four stars because the story was ok.
Sophia is taken by Hunter's rogue grandfather. Both Hunter's and Alex's pack hunt for her for days not knowing who has her. Every spell that Emma tries to find her daughter aren't working. You will have to read the book to find out if they find her and what happened to her.

Just leaves me wanting more and more I can’t wait to read the last book but I don’t want the series to end! Absolutely love this series and it is by far the best book series I have read in many years
This series is really gripping and a must-read. it keeps you hanging on the edge, wanting to know the outcome of the story. If anyone likes werewolf stories, you must read this one. In my view it's exerlant.
Wow, each book just gets better. Non stop, and you really can't put the book down. I get so engrossed with what's going on and with characters, that you forget its a book!
Loved the book from start to finish. There was sadness and happiness. I felt so sorry for Hunter with the past history of his family. There were a lot of ups and downs and poor Sophia. Look forward to reading the finale in book 6
The other books were better this one was repetitive and unnecessary the cliffhanger wasn’t really a cliffhanger because it was mentioned earlier idk it started good but the end just not good
Man, this family has been through the ringer! This series has me wanting to bite my nails again! The anxiety I have is crazy! Can't wait to start the next book.
