The first book to present the techniques and benefits of clicker training for the show ring in full-color photographs and lively readable chapters, Click To Win! combines Karen Pryor's popular columns from the AKC Gazette with never-before-published articles for experienced and beginning handlers alike. Now, with the insight and advice of the world's leading clicker trainer, you can train your dog * extend its gait in the ring * stand with confidence on the judging table * gait on a loose leash * self-stack perfectly * look alert and calm while the judge reviews the rest of the class; and * teach puppies just weeks old basic manners and skills. All without punishment or force!
Karen Pryor was an American author who specialized in behavioral psychology and marine mammal biology. She was the founder and proponent of clicker training. She was formerly a Marine Mammal Commissioner to the U.S. government.
