La edición es maravillosa, el libro no es tan caro y en una forma sencilla y con un uso adecuado de fotos y esquemas nos explica la vida. Los aminoácidos no son la vida pero son los bloques de la vida. El paso siguiente a la formación de aminoácidos es la formación de entidades moleculares capaces de reproducir copias de sí mismas.

Esta capacidad la tienen los ácidos ribonucleicos pero necesitan de las proteínas para replicarse. Lo importante aquí es entender cómo se asociaron las proteínas y los ácidos ribonucleicos (Hipótesis del mundo del ARN)

Un libro que todo estudiante de preparatoria o personas interesadas en la vida deberían leer.

This is the most complete biology text book I have ever encountered. The photographs and diagrams are amazing. The questions at the ends of the chapters are thought-provoking. I constantly use this as a reference, and I own a few copies, so there's always one handy. This book is maybe only second to the dictionary as my constant reference.
