Together for four years now, Christian and Jonah from A Fostered Love are still wildly in love and passionately attracted to each other. Jonah has never seen snow, and Christian thinks he’s set in place the perfect Valentine’s Day weekend away to show his man something new.
Sometimes, though, Mother Nature can be a real bitch, and this year she brings Christian’s and Jonah’s plans to a screeching halt before they can even begin.
If there’s one thing that messes with Jonah’s head and heart, it’s seeing Christian upset. Can Jonah come up with a miracle and show Christian that sometimes the best holidays are the ones spent in your own backyard?
I am an air force brat and spent most of my growing up years living overseas in Italy and England, as well as Florida, Georgia, Ohio, and Virginia while we were stateside. I now live in Florida once again with my big, wonderfully pushy family and my three-legged cat, Harry. I have been reading romance novels since I was twelve years old, and twenty years later I still adore them. Currently, I have an unexplainable obsession with hockey goaltenders, and an unabashed affection for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
3.5 stars Rounded up because it was sexy, sweet and gorgeous, the best Valentines pressie the guys could ever hope for. Lust and love works its magic, Christian and Jonah are hot together. I liked it a lot, I definitely need to check out A Fostered Love. Don't expect much of a story, from start to finish its pure sex.
3.5* This is despite the snow storm that stops the trip Christian has planned for Jonah, a scorching hot short. Jonah has never seen snow and Christian really wants to give him the opportunity and he is excited about snowball fights and snow angels, skiing and spending a wonderful Valentine's Day with his love. The trip is not meant to be , but I don't want to give anything away, except to say that Jonah is a wonderful and creative man and his love for Christian is huge. Christian can't bear to see Jonah upset, even if the trip was originally for him, he wants to make it up to Jonah and he does. The majority of this short story is spent with the two lovers having hot and detailed sex, but the very deep and very sweet feelings they have for each other is right at the forefront too. I read 'A Fostered Love' and was glad to be able to catch up with Jonah and Christian, but I don't think you have to have read it to understand or enjoy this story. It's a light, hot, quick read which is perfect for Valentine's Day or as a nice break for in between heavier or angsty books.
Hooray!! We get a chance to see my onions in real time, four years in the future!
Onions, you wonder? What is this bitch talking about? See my review of this couple's first book here.
Thanks to Cameron Dane for letting me relive the Jonah & Christian hot frenetic love train again. They are seriously one of my favorite MM couples of all time (And that's saying something because do you see all the damn books I read?)
Snowfall is chock full of hot, alpha sex with a deliciously possessive Jonah. (He oodles my noodles, for real) All my favorite characteristics are revisited and it left me in a hot, happy Valentines daze. I'm happy there was no unnecessary drama thrown in.
This was short, sexy, and super sweet. I love both Jonah and Christian and enjoyed revisiting with them four years into their relationship. The Valentine's Day surprise was really cute. But I guess I wanted more ... something ... than what I got. The sex was hot (as always with Cameron Dane) but I wanted more of a story. *sigh*
This short story is a 24 hour period encompassing Valentines Day, four years into Jonah and Christian's relationship.
This book is almost totally two instances of Jonah and Christian making love. I'd more than likely be disappointed if this was written by almost anyone else. But because Camerone Dane writes some of the best panty wetting, heart pounding sex, I'm not inclined to complain.
A sweet, gooey (and insanely hot!) glimpse four years into Jonah and Christian’s life together that made me deliriously happy to read.
Also, if I were their neighbour I woulda had my nose plastered to the window facing their backyard with my eyes looking a little something like this: O.O
I first fell in love with Jonah and Christian in Cameron Dane’s “A Fostered Love”. Theirs was a beautiful love story where the two men were reunited after a fateful separation of fifteen years. I was very excited to learn that Ms. Dane was releasing this short story, giving us a glimpse into their lives four years down the track.
Christian arranges a very special Valentine’s Day present for Jonah, which, due to inclement weather and delays at the airport, does not come to fruition. There is nothing Christian hates more than to disappoint Jonah and is therefore left understandably distraught and very upset that he can not fulfill the trip he had planned for his man.
If there is a fictional character who has a bigger heart than Jonah I am yet to find him. He cannot stand to see the disappointment Christian is feeling and hatches a plan to make this Valentine’s Day their best ever. To say anymore about his surprise would be an epic spoiler…and that would be a very silly thing for me to do!
This short story has a wonderful sentiment that left me feeling all warm and fuzzy. The deep passion shared between these two men is made palpable in Ms. Dane’s writing of the very frequent and erotic sex scenes, which, by the way, make up a large percentage of the word count. This is a super hot story and for those looking for a breather in between some more angsty reads, this would be the perfect choice.
Anybody who has read the first two books was probably picked this up as soon as it was released but if you haven’t and you enjoy a very real feeling romance about two men who get their second chance at love, then you’ll love this book. I highly recommend the entire series. You should start with the first book as there are joining thread but for this book it’s probably not a must.
Well. It's a fact. I love Cameron Dane's style of writing. There is just this raw passion and chemistry that pretty much always leaps out from her books and smacks you in the senses. Snowfall is incredibly sweet, incredibly sexy, and I loved revisiting Jonah Roberts and Christian Sanchez from A Fostered Love. Christian wants Jonah to see snow but there's a bit of a hurdle. Will they have a wonderful Valentine's day? You know they will but the 'journey' is mighty fine. Review at On Top Down Under Book Reviews - http://ontopdownunderbookreviews.com/...
This book was just sex. 50 pages of sex. If you loved A Fostered Love for the sex then you might love this. There were some romantic parts too, but it was a bit over-the-top. I don't remember Christian being that mushy in the first book.
Christian planned a a trip for jonah to see snow , but when storm hits they stay home instead and in turn of events jonah has plans for christian instead sweet and cute and hot at the same time.
It’s been four years since Christian and Jonah found each other again, and each day they fall deeper and deeper in love. Christian would do anything to make Jonah happy and keep him that way. So since Jonah has never seen actual snow, Christian is taking him to Wyoming to enjoy his first snowfall for Valentine’s Day. But when a freak snow storm grounds all flights to the northwest, Christian’s romantic holiday plans are ruined. Disappointed that he can’t deliver the perfect present for Jonah, Christian puts on a happy face even though he feels like he failed Jonah.
Jonah has always been able to read Christian, so even though he says he’s okay, Jonah knows Christian is disheartened, and Jonah will do anything to cheer him up. But can Jonah find a way to prove that the only thing he needs to enjoy any holiday is Christian’s happiness?
Snowfall is a short story in Cameron Dane’s Foster Siblings series. Christian and Jonah were introduced in A Fostered Love, the first book in the series. And, let me tell you, these boys were hot from the day one, and now years later, they’ve still got it.
For those of us Cameron Dane fans, we already know and love Christian and Jonah, tortured pasts, mistakes, and all. But it’s so good to see that their relationship has not only lasted, but has continued to grow stronger and stronger. They are still loving and supportive of one another, maybe even more so, if that were possible. The love between these two is beautiful, and the passion is fire hot.
Geez, the love making scenes in this short are both beautiful and bone-melting – and that’s saying something (you’ll understand once you read it). In this short story there is a quite a bit of sex for the length of the tale, but it’s definitely hot, as always – a bit drawn out, but still steamy.
There’s no mystery here, no conflict, no angst. It’s a simple glance into the lives of one of my favorite couples that I fell in love with years ago. If you have not read A Fostered Love I urge you to do so, and then pick up this lovely glimpse into Christian and Jonah’s beautiful love. If you’ve read A Fostered Love, you must read Snowfall.
Since A Fostered Love is one of my favorite reads, of course I jumped at the opportunity of saying hello to Jonah and Christian.
Having a look at the life of your old favorites can be a good thing, but also a bad one. You can be happy of reacquainting yourself to dear characters. But you also risk changing the beautiful idea/ felling the story left you with. I guess this depends on how the author approaches it. Fortunately, Cameron Dane took the easy way out and only refreshed our memories on why we fell in love with these two. Snowfall brings nothing new to their story, it only reiterates their love and strong connection. A bit of a porn fest. But with feelings. I guess that's what I love about her writing. She gives you porn, but emotional porn :) Nothing seems gratuitous. At least in this series.
So 3 stars. But not because it wasn't good. Simply because it brought nothing new to Christian and Jonah.
I am assuming that this short, sweet, novella is the end of the line in the story of Jonah and Christian. If so, then it is perfectly done--their love, four years after their reunion, is stronger than ever and full of desire on every page.
That Jonah manages to come to the rescue when Christian's plans for their Valentine's Day holiday get smashed by the weather is a bit of a surprise. But not when author Dane gets into Jonah's head--he is the one who has captured Christian from the start, and he is so dedicated and smitten that he will do anything to make his lover happy. What he does is a hoot, and how they both react is enough to melt the snow (you'll see) as well as your heart.
Grab it, but make sure you read the first book in the series first. The second one is not necessary.
Reviewed by Brandilyn for Prism Book Alliance Snowfall is basically an extended epilogue for A Fostered Love, as such I am reviewing them together. In Snowfall, we get to catch up with Christian and Jonah about four years down the line. We also get a glimpse at the triad from book two, Something New (link to Teresa's review). It is hot. It is sweet. It lets us know that they are for forever. While the plot is predictable, the plot isn't the point of this little story. If you enjoyed A Fostered Love and fell in love with Jonah and Christian, be sure to pick this one up. Find the full review at http://www.prismbookalliance.com/?pos...
I loved Christian and Jonah in A Fostered Love so I was super excited to see there was a novella with them set four years in their future. Like the first one, there's lots of swoon-worthy romance and wicked chemistry. Christian and Jonah are adorable together. But Snowfall has a pretty thin plot - this is mainly nonstop sex (hot sex to be fair) with the slightest hint of a story about a Valentine's Day weekend. There's not much about their lives or what they've gotten up to in the past four years - although they are still super over the top sweet and corny. It was enjoyable but not as good as A Fostered Love. 3 stars.
I enjoyed this novella immensely! It was nice getting a glimpse of how Christian & Jonah's [Fostered Love] relationship progressed into something almost fairy tale-like and yeah, it was indeed a happily ever after ending for this couple. The intensity of their love for each other is just freaking adorable!!! It's amazing how they balanced out each other's personality. It was really sweet. The sex here was loaded (maybe a bit too much but no complaints here) and the whole Valentine's day theme was perfect. What a beautiful ending to their story.
This is a sweet “epilogue” story where we get to see Jonah and Christian together again after years of being a couple. Jonah wants Christian to have a white Christmas and he moves heaven and earth to make it happen.
Most of this is simply reconnecting with the boys and showing us how in love they are, and of course hot sex.
It was sweet and if you enjoyed A Fostered Love you will want to read this short story.
Foster Siblings #2.5 Snowfall by Cameron Dane It's Valentine's Day and Christian has something special planned for Jonah. Very short, but well worth the read! Read: November 16, 2015 - Kindle Edition
I really love these guys! I fell totally in love with Jonah and Christian in A Fostered Love and Snowfall has simply renewed that feeling. This is such a great short story that brings the reader back to such joy and laughter, not to mention love, from these two men. And, they are still really, really hot!
Holy hell! After four years? This is just about the hottest Valentine's Day on record. And I don't mean the air temperature! Jonah and Christian can't get enough of each other. It's definitely a holiday to remember :D
