In this letter, Peter spoke much about persecution, which anticipated the persecution he and other Christians would endure. First Peter focuses on the importance of believers bearing up under unjust suffering yet continuing to live well. 1 Peter 2:20 - Of course, you get no credit for being patient if you are beaten for doing wrong. But if you suffer for doing good and endure it patiently, God is pleased with you.
