In The Classic: 69 Chevy Camaro (Turbocharged #6) by Eric Stevens, Eddie King has divorced parents, loves awesome muscle cars and wants to drag race in them. Eddie’s father has an old 1969 Chevy Camaro in the garage that Eddie wants to fix up and race. When Eddie finds his dad, he convinces him to help fix up the car in two days, in time for the next big race. They get the car painted and ready to go but Eddie worries that his dad is doing illegal things to get parts for the car. When Eddie goes to pick up the car from the paint shop, his Dad has already picked the car up and taken it back to his place. But he has different plans for the car. He wants to use it to make bets on racing, and then pay back debts.
I think the book is okay and I think the plot is developed well. The characters are interesting and the story line is intriguing but it had some cussing in it and I didn’t like that. I think it could have been much better without the cussing. Other than that, it was a pretty good book.
