Although a very short book, it covered everything you would want in a romance novel. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but it definitely held my interest the entire time. There were curveballs throughout that kept me guessing and wanting more. The main character Lola gave me everything and more!! I love that she found the right guy, despite how she planned her life to be, and stuck with him through thick and then. I didn't like Margaret(the rude mother-in-law) and even though she came around eventually, she still never fully grew to my liking. I loved how Jax was portrayed and essentially became to different people until the end of the story; that was a nice twist. The whole thing with Ed was a tad too predictable because I assumed that is what happened from the very beginning. The only faults for me was how the author changed from person to person and at times it was easy to be confused as to who was talking. Also the whole "relationship" with Randi and Arnie was kind of irrelevant especially with Arnie's daughter just being thrown into the story. I'm not sure if that was added just to extend the book, but I felt like the story should have just stayed on Jax and Lola. The fact that Lola eventually found her mother was a joy to read and a great note to end on, especially with the second wedding. Despite minor flaws, this book is a good read and I would recommend to any one who is in the mood for a short, sweet book that will hold your attention.
