Have you read any of the this series? If you have not I strongly suggest you do, today! I am a fan yes but I can honestly say that it keeps getting better with each book. Each time I read another chapter I am sucked in more and I am so emotionally vested that I am about to the point of author stalking. She has yet to get the restraining order, but it could be in the near future. None the less people really this is a must read series and does not disappoint. Now on to the newest book.
This book picks right up and draws you right back into it full swing.

Oh Maggie..Maggie…sweet beautiful, fierce and powerful Maggie! I love her character more with each book. Now do not get me wrong, I adore Luc. I even at one time liked Michel until he just broke my heart into pieces. However in this book I really felt like Maggie came into her own and I have since decided she is one of my favorite female characters around. This book finds Michel back, he is home. (Read book two for details) Although this is not the Michel from before and things have changed. Luc is gone, with the Angels as tribute. Life is a mess and Maggie is suppose to marry the monster that she once felt she loved. WOW! Her father has been dangled in front of her and she is trapped, like a fly in a spiders web. I believe in Maggie though, she has accomplished things that should not be done. Tick tock? I know you are biting your nails right now if you are biding your time waiting for this book. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Will Maggie have to force herself into her own personal prison?
So many truths revealed in this book, so many things we thought we find out the facts. Amazing and breath holding moments await you in the pages. Just when you think oh ok.. Lisa takes you, shakes her head and says no you are wrong. The evil that lurks around each corner does not stop the love of Luc and Maggie. I enjoyed the moments with all my heart.
Luc is with the angels but Luc being the ever so sexy, and perfect leading man that he is finds a way to see Maggie. Read it – trust me! The emotions and feeling that pour out of the pages, leave you begging for more time.

Right now! Ossa is evil beyond evil. Michel gives him a massive run for his money in the evil department. Maggie shows strength and courage. Luc is brave and sexy. The wonderful Liam , Seatha, Autumn and Davis. I could go on and on forever about the wonderful cast of characters that are part of the journey this series takes you on. I love them all!
If you want a series that has sexy men, strong females, laughing out loud, fits of hysteria this is the one for you. If you want a series that is well written, strong stories that just keeps getting better and better. This is the series for you! I highly recommend it, I stand on the hills and shout it. Read this series, read this book. Fall in love with the story and characters as much as I have- trust me.

Another 20 star book!!!! OMG OMG OMG I am so flippin head over heads for this series. Book after book just keeps getting better and better.
People hear me when I say you NEED to READ this series!!! Brilliantly written, stunningly description and powerful characters. This is one of them series, that when your kindle dies......you run knocking everything out of your way too plug it in.....then turning to power it back up and its says wait 15 minutes. You start crying and dancing around begging for it to hurry up. But I swear it is like time stops while you wait. However, 4 mins and 34 secs is all you need to keep back to the "Trust".
How can I convince each and everyone you to read this series? Tell you how wonderfully sexy Luc is. How evil Ossa's is? How freakin awesome and strong Maggie is. Oh dear sweet Laim. WHYYYY? As I have said in all three reviews. This is a outstanding.... extraordinary series. This book will again have your knees buckling, it will suck your breath right out of your lungs. Make you want to fall to the ground bawling you eyes out. Not too mention how you will laugh out loud on numerous occasions. And the LOVE that Luc has for me......ummm I mean Maggie OMG OMG!!!!

This book was absolutely amazing! I am a huge fan of this series and I could not wait to read this book. If you haven't read books 1 & 2 inthe series then I suggest that you go buy them and read them today.
In Phoenix Burning (book 2), Maggie and Luc manage to succesfully bring Michel back from the angels, but the Michel they brought back is not the Michel from before. And, by a cruel twist of fate, the angels take Luc in exchange for Michel. I have to say that my heart was broken at the end of book 2. So we begin Phoenix Shadow with Michel back, Luc gone, and Maggie being forced to marry Michel in order to protect her family and friends. But Luc isn't willing to leave his phoenix so easily and the angels offer him the role of "Angel Knight".
This story moves so quickly and has a lot of action and excitement. I literally could not put it down. I love Lisa's characters and this book only made me love them more. I really thought that Maggie grew alot in this book and we got to understand her better. And Luc, oh Luc...I fell in love with Prince Luc in book 2 and have been dreaming about him. Well, let me just tell you that wings make him even sexier. But don't worry, angel's wings haven't changed him - Luc's still the cocky bad boy with a heart that I fell in love with.
I absolutely loved this book by Lisa Morgan and I admit that I am totally addicted to her books. Read this series and I guarantee that you'll be addicted too.

This book is utterly fantastic. There have been series that I can count on my hands that I absolutely love, and this is by far, one of them. There are so many twists and turns, clever outcomes, and things I never would have thought would happen, but boy did they ever. Fantastic series, and I can not wait for the next installment! I'm addicted.

Okay so yea first thought few pages in was WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MICHEL he's not the sweet boy I remember! "You shall be cherished by the Realm, the mother of Celine's heir. We shall make a marvelous pairing, you and I, Phoenix." Nasty a** butthole, you've changed Michel I don't like it! Davis though that sexy werewolf, he's all hot and yummy, "Make no mistake, Maggie... when the time is right, when the fates align just so, I will have my vengeance. And I warn you now - don't stand in my way." My Luc always trying to make something funny come out of the most of situations even if they suck, "Well...the food sucks, as does the company most of the times, but the view is fantastic." I'm seeing a new side to Davis that I really like, he's protective of Maggie or he just really hates Michel or probably both, "Happy?" Davis growled, "That's not the word I'd use. Tell me, Prince how many knives did you hold to her throat to get Maggie to agree to such a thing?" When Luc and Maggie were together it was seriously as corny as this sounds it was magic, and Luc he treats his girl right, unlike that ass Michel, "How I've missed you Maggie - your touch, your scent, the sweet melody of your beating heart." He is really sweet he's come really far from the asshat he was in book 1, "No matter the distance or the circumstance, nothing will ever keep me from you, Maggie. Always and forever, I will love only you." Well he can be a smartass at times but that's why I love my Luc, "I now have wings. You can't use your fire. No one trusts anyone else currently, and you didn't free your father like you'd hoped to. Oh...and you are to marry my brother tomorrow. Have I missed anything?" Oh lord but I really do love my Luc, "Umm, no... I don't think I will," Luc retorted. "You see... this is my wife, and maybe sometime in the future I'll decide what a critical error in judgement it was to get tied down so young, but I haven't reached that point yet, so for now, I think I'll keep her -" FREAKIN' CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is all.

Um wow! What do I say to this one. Mother of all cliff hangers here. Maggie has grown bolder. Much much bolder. Not that she was ever a scared chicken before. Oh no! Not the Phoenix. She's one kick-ass chick. Maggie fights for what's right. She puts her family above all else. Even giving herself up to the monster Michel. She loved him once but knows now that her hearts flame belongs to only one. Her true mate Luc.
Michel is still a huge jerk. I hate that he became that way. I silently wished he'd be the person he was when Maggie first met him. He never does and the darkness sucked the life right out of him. He allowed it to consume his every being and now clouded by the darkness his one focus is set on consumingMaggie. If she won't be with him willingly he will take her by force and everyone in his way will go down. We dose hints of his old self however brief they were. I thought it was sad to see him there one minute and gone the next. I truly had hope for him

I read Phoenix Shadow by Lisa Morgan.
I recommend this book! It starts with Maggie, being the only Phoenix, is set to marry Michel. Maggie is caught between a rock and a hard place because she does not want to marry Michel, but if she does the king promised help to save her dad. They put it in writing and make a blood oath. Luc is not gone forever, but you have to read it to know how the author brought him back. This book made me sad, and happy, and shocked, and overjoyed, and WOWed, and a myriad of emotions! The style of writing (voice) and the strong emotions that are drawn out of the reader really makes this a wonderful book! I love this series and can't wait till the release of Phoenix Ashes!

Yikes, I wanted to pull my hair out with this one. I wanted so badly for Maggie to go with her heart and kick Michel to the curb and be with Luc, her true love. . . only I understood her reasoning for doing what she felt needed to be done.
The darkness completely consumes Michel by this point and I begin to wonder if the Michel from book one ever existed. I once loved his character and now I only want to kill him. LOL.
Luc still fights for Maggie and the passion he holds for her can be felt with every word I read. Truly a talent Lisa Morgan has to convey such love through the written word.
This third installment is packed with action, passion and despair. The death of a well loved character had me blubbering for quite some time. The cliff hanger at the end had steam coming out of my ears! Lisa Morgan dangles us off the cliff leaving us to question; does she enjoy torturing her fans? LOL - can't wait for the fourth book to be released.

I swear this series just gets better and better. I have no idea how Author Lisa Morgan keeps the series going with such fire. This is one series I have read where it makes you want more and more, it never lets you down. “Phoenix Shadow” captivated me from the moment I began reading it as all the other books in the series have done. I can see the scenes in this book play out as if I’m watching a movie; a movie I can’t seem to get enough of. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an amazing paranormal read. This series has it all and is bound to hold you captive. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. If based on the works of the previous book the next book is bound to be just as amazing.

I don't think I'm going to make any sense with this review, holy flipping hell that was insanely good and my heart is racing. That ending was AWESOMESAUCE, which ended in a huge cliff hanger ughhhhh why don't I have the next book already! I have so much to say but it will spoil the whole book!! The ending had me a sobbing mess!
If you haven't read this series there is something seriously wrong with you! It's like nothing I've read before.
Just read it, you know you want to. It has everything. Look into my eyes "read this series, read the damn series" (yes that was my attempt at hypnotizing you) did it work?

After the second book of the series, Phoenix Burning, left me hanging on the edge of the cliff by my fingertips this third installment did not disappoint. Excellent storytelling with always plenty of action. I enjoyed the fact that some of the very minor characters from earlier books were reintroduced and their characters and stories intertwined with existing characters. Love that Maggie is really coming into her own, it's hard to believe she's only just 17! Once again a cliffhanger ending, what on earth is going to happen next???

The fourth installment in this exciting series by Lisa Morgan.
It moved along at a great pace and had an interesting story. The characters were great and no matter what happens you want to see them achieve their goals.
I would definitely suggest this book to anyone who enjoys a good read.

OH MY HEART! This is crazy! Michel is not the same, and Maggie now knows where her heart truly lies, but will she continue to do what is right for everyone else or for herself? Is what she thinks is right even right? Another non stop adventure full of love and laughter and tears!

If you've read books 1 & 2 from this series, this is a must read! Lisa doesn't disappoint in book 3 either with plenty of action & thrills! The hard part is now waiting for July for book 4!!
