F*ck Valentine's Day (A Short Story)

For Fans of “Wallbanger” by Alice Clayton
A New Adult/Contemporary Romance Erotica Recommended for Ages 18 and Up

This book contains handcuffs, hair pulling, perverted Valentine's cards, and all other sorts of naughty. This book is NOT intended for anyone who dislikes hot sex scenes, bad boys, or nerds with kinky sides. Read at your own risk.

"Suck it, Kitty Cat."

Andi Fisher hates Valentine's Day for obvious reasons. First off, she's single. Second, she's single. And third, well, she's f*cking single. Like it isn't hard enough watching the lovey-dovey couples on campus and listening to her roommate's wild sexcapades at night. Why does there have to be a holiday to grind the salt in Andi's proverbial wounds?

Resigned to watching reruns of “Sleepless in Seattle” and binge eating on half-priced holiday chocolates, Andi is surprised when not one but two guys start to take in interest in her. Sexy, tattooed Quinn and the equally hot, but totally nerdy Preston. Either way, Andi might have Valentine's Day plans that she didn't expect …

C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind - especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.

She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. When she's not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. She's the author of over thirty novels - romance, new adult, fantasy, and young adult included. Please, come and join her inside her crazy. There's a heck of a lot to do there.

Oh, and Caitlin loves to chat (incessantly), so feel free to e-mail her, send her a Facebook message, or put up smoke signals. She's already looking forward to it.

Y'all know I've been shouting from the rooftops, mountains, sh*t, even my soap box about CM Stunich and this book is another reason why.

Right from the dedication to those of you who were brave enough to pick up a book with handcuffs on the front cover. I heart the f*ck out of you.

to the chapter titles, Six Days until "Yeah. I'm married so suck it" day.

and the internal dialogue between Rational Andi, Horny Andi, 'Rational Andi started to speak, but I silenced her with threats to not only read the Twilight Saga, but also to watch it. She went silent.'

I couldn't stop laughing. I think I even weeed a little. This book was made with the awesomesauce. Andi has a Secret Stalker Admirer (who left a photo of his c*ck for her and sent her on a scavenger hunt for clues to his identity). I mean what's not to love about the kind of woo-ing. LOL!

Then we had her friend Gen who was a really great listener. Bahahahahahaha. And the public display of affection (?) from Quinn.

I left with the world's bluest balls. Or ovaries? How does that work? Aw, f*ck it. You know what I meant.

Seriously, this book is outrageously hilarious and fun. It's a short, sexy countdown to valentines day from the eyes of a virgin, all be it an absolute hornbag virgin. Would she still be classed as one after Randy?

I can not tell you the stitches I got from laughing, whether it be from the handcuffs (Chapter 2 - OMG! I would have died!!) to the internal bickering, as well as Quinn and Preston. It was just gold. Exactly what I needed. A palate cleanser.

I wanted to ask about that, but had no clue how to go about broaching the subject, especially when Preston was squished into the corner of the elevator hugging of all things, a copy of Gone With the Wind. Definitely a moment. Ear f*ckers do not read period romance novels.

Andi is a complete horn-dog and her inner monologue reads like a desperate adolescent boy who relates every situation in life to having sex. Her utter hatred towards Valentine's Day stems from her repressed sexuality and jealousy towards couples who are engaging in public displays of affection or just plain romantic intimacy. I laughed so hard reading this! It was short, comedic, fun, and silly! Really liked this book!

So it seems that in some ways (by which I mean profanity), Stunich writes like I talk. (Yep, I have a dirty mouth. I'd toss in a "Sorry, Mom!" here, but she's already well aware.) And I admit to being pleased by anyone who uses "Fuck" in the title and has the balls not to censor it on the cover.

Also, a story title with the first word being "Fuck"...fuck yeah.

Moving on from that, the actual story is one of those fun reads, complete brain candy with a simple plot (sex), a simple theme (sex), and a simple inner monologue for the main character (say it with me now: sex). Stunich's humor is on display, quite a bit of deadpan wit and smart ass quips, and while some jokes fall flat on their faces, there are a handful of laugh out loud passages. Fuck Valentine's Day is a perfect summer read for those who want something naughty and aren't easily offended--and if you're seriously offended by dirty sex scenes or jokes made at the expense of the Twilight series, I have doubts that you're mature enough to read this. Or why you would even pick it up in the first place.

I don't think the author meant this, but the book feels vaguely like a spoof of the YA classic plot: good girl, bad boy, good boy, love/lust triangle, sexual tension. (See: Twilight, The Vincent Boys, Lament, Alice in Zombieland, or a thousand other series.) She just cut out all the bullshit and got straight to the point: that sexual tension bit. Good for her, and good for us.

Now, is this going to go down as classic (or even good) lit? Absolutely not. This book makes no attempts at being "classy". The writing itself is solid but certainly not impressive, and the manuscript itself needs to spend some time with a good copy editor. We're talking glaring, wince-worthy typos here, people. Fortunately these aren't as jarring as I usually find them, mainly because the writing isn't strong enough to make you not expect those. Sad but true.

But if you take Fuck Valentine's Day for what it is, that being a steamy, fun, quick summer read, than you should be satisfied. Is it going to change your life or stick with you much past the time you finish and put the book down? Nope. It's not going to take more than an hour or so to read this in one go, but it's an hour you won't regret, although perhaps not the most productive hour you'll ever have in your life.

But who can resist handcuffs? And random sexual acts performed in public? And sex swings and dirty talk? Okay, probably a lot of people can resist those, perhaps they even find them unpleasant, but screw it: if you've chosen this book, the "warning" makes it all perfectly clear. You know what you're getting into, and damn it, you like it.

Horny Andi and Rational Andi's dialogues had me laughing till the end. I still find Andi's situation a little disturbing but I guess humor outweighed it all.

*Disclaimer* If it wasn’t our Feb Bookclub pick it would not be making an appearance on my Goodreads. What even was that? It did make me laugh though, so there’s that.

I did not like this one. I did not like the way the author trashed The twilight saga (books and movies) writing that she will punish herself by reading and watching them, It was not an appropriate way to say something about the quality of the books and movies or for anything for that matter. It wasn't a delicate way to say that. I did not find it funny. Also, I would like someone to answer me 2 questions. 1) Why did the nerd and the bad boy switch places? That was a good example of the saying that there is always another side in every person. The nerd is a Dom and he is not even doing his job well enough. And 2 what about her virginity? She has an 8-inch dildo she uses a lot and still claims that she is a virgin. She also compares it to Preston's cock and how it feels so I will question further her virginity.
I must admit that the book was hot, really hot but I found lacking in several other areas

Crudely sexy and stupidly funny. A perverted virgin on a Valentine's day clue hunt towards her secret admirer.

I loved this short story. (about 67 pages, the end has snippets of other books) I've never been a big fan of C. M. Stunich, but if the author writes another comedy, then I will definitely be reading it.

This it totally my kind of book, I love rude humour and a silly female.

Coming up to Valentine's day, Andi finds herself being chased after by the bad boy who flirts with everything, finally interacting with her long time crush who is a geek with a hard large body, and getting Valentine's cards with clues from a secret admirer.

Funny moments involved her having one-sided conversations with her room-mate who is busy shagging on the settee all the time. Handcuffing herself to her bed while she gets off over a 'dick pic'. The bad boy 'frenching the shit' out of her. Talking to her horny side and her rational side whilst drooling... a lot.

This was EXACTLY the sort of read I needed - short, funny, to the point, hot. It was perfect.

Andi is our girl in this book and what a girl she is! She's 20, at college, single and still a virgin. Valentines Day is quickly approaching and like any girl in her situation she was absolutely dreading it.
"One week until under appreciated singles' day."

Andi spends the book trying to choose between; Quinn, the hot bad ass guy who's had just about his fair share of every woman at college or Preston, the hot geek who just so happens to be a Professor's Assistant at the college.

Both men have their positives but what makes the decision so hard? The fact that she has a secret admirer out there who won't stop sending her notes. Notes like the picture of a penis she now carries around in her bag. So what must Andi do? Well, sample both Quinn and Preston of course.

The whole book was freaking hilarious. The inner thoughts of Andi and her 'rational and horny side' arguing was brilliant. Sometimes you don't need to take a book too seriously to enjoy it and this was just that kind of book.

5 "I need to someone to pour ice down my pants, fuck that was hot" stars

So I knew C.M. stunich can write hot steamy sexy books. I've read real ugly and I'm stalking her till I see get bent published.

But holy smokes. This book was just pages and pages of hot steamy turn your insides to mush hot. It has everything. Hot porn star douche bags. Tall nerdy sexy perverts. Beautiful sexy virgin. And scenes that I think my panties melted right off my body.

Its a short, steamy, wish it was longer read.

Best line of the book " I had a sudden and irrational fear that I was going to turn into Anastasia Steele and start spouting off things about my inner goddess and referring to my fucking cunt as down there"

"hello world, my name is andrea fisher and I enjoy recreational snowboarding, hikes through the beautiful forests of the northwest, and giving blow jobs in public while an adorable geek turned Dom whacks it in voyeuristic bliss"

I started reading this book and could not put it down. It was a short and funny read. I laughed throughout the book at the antic's of the characters. It has sex with handcuffs, rough sex, masterbation in a college classroom. Andi the main character in this story is persued by a secret admirer and a couple of guys she goes to college with one the typical bad boy type and the other the typical smart nerdy type. She talks to her rational self and horny self throughout the book. It has you laughing and encouraging her on to find out who she wants to be with and you will not be disappointed with her choice.
This is the book to read for a light and funny short story about a girl who learns about her sexual self while searching for her secret admirer and winds up having sex with both the bad boy and the smart nerdy guy.

This was a super cute, quick read. Andi's inner dialog had me laughing so hard I thought I was going to pee my pants at times. I'm a sucker for a nerd and boy does Preston fit the bill on that and then some..lol. I enjoyed Quinn and all his tattooed up blunt as hell hotness. This is the first book I've read from C.M. and will add her to my list of authors to keep an eye on.

I give this book 3.75 hot as hell stars.

C.M. Stunich never disappoints me! Fuck Valentine's Day is a very funny short story. The internal dialogues between Rational Andy and Horny Andy are hilarious and the one-side conversations with her roommate Genevieve are comical and ridiculous.
The plot is not very developed, and some situations are quite disputable, so don't read it if you're looking for a classic love story.
However, I definitely recommend this book to everyone who is looking for a light and steamy story and who wants to spend a couple of hours laughing with such a goofy character as Andy.
I ensure you that even just reading the titles of the chapters will make you laugh your ass off!

I've read a lot of books by this author and can say I was expecting more. This book was mainly smut and plot wise it was lacking a lot in my opinion. I enjoyed it - definitely a hot and quick read. However, I would have liked a little bit more character development (even if the book is only 162 pages) and some scenes were definitely not IT for me.

It's a quick to read, funny, erotic little story without much content. You can't expect much more from such a short novella though.
