The content was interesting but the poor writing of this book made it less than enjoyable.

A fascinating review of a person who actually lost all sense of memory, self, skills. Amnesia is such a "plot device" in much of our fiction, I found this book profoundly interesting. The testimony of discovery of self as an adult. From scratch.

It was amazing to read about this woman and how she and the family coped with her amnesia.
