About the author

BARBARA MCCAULEY is the author of over 30 best-selling romance novels, including "Blackhawk's Sweet Revenge," the first volume of her popular SECRETS! series for Silhouette. Loved the COVER! The entire story of ten chapter plus a Prologue & an Epilogue, was devoted to the misunderstanding five years ago between Becca and Trace. Honest! Fortunately, there were actions by many family members. Trace's littlest half-brother, Jack, definitely saved the book! Go! Jack!

"You want to be a conductor now?" . . .

"You'll have to show me how," Trace said.

Jack's little chest puffed to with pride. "You just push the button like this and move this back and forth."

When Trace made the train move, Jack clapped his hands."See you can do it."

Kitap çok alakasız bir şekilde başlamıştı bana göre. Ama kitap bir serinin teee 12. kitabıymış ilk 11 kitabı ve olayları bilmeyince saçma geldi.

Kitap ana erkek karakterin babasının zamanında ilgi göstermediği gerekçesi ve hak ettiği mirası almak için öldürüldüğü sahne ile başlıyor. Bu cinayetin bu kitapla pek alakasını görmedim. Neyse ana karakterlerimiz bundan 5 yıl önce ayrılmak zorunda kalmıştır.

Becca iş için geri dönünce Trace ile aralarında küllendiklerini düşündüğü aşkları aslında bitmemiştir. Ancak geçmişte ayrılık nedenlerini ikisi de birbirinden farklı bilip bu yanlış anlaşılmadan da haberleri olmayınca barışma ve yanlış anlaşılmaların giderilmesi biraz zaman aldı.

Well, this story could have been told in 2-3 chapters. But there was s whole lot of padding by sex. Which I skipped for the most part as it didn’t add anything.
