Evangeline Chase is in the darkest corner of life and struggling to find any light at all. A business woman, a daughter, and a friend, Eva is also a control freak who can’t be sexually satisfied and wants nothing to do with love…or used to.

That was before she was swept away in lust and love’s embrace while experiencing a total loss of control.

Alexander Mason is the knight Eva’s always wanted, yet the man she sacrificed because she couldn’t handle losing control over the chaos of emotions he caused in her.

Eva fears living a life scorned by her self-instigated loss. Left with a cavernous void that can only be fulfilled by the man who gave her the most erotic moments, euphoric orgasms, and touching love she has ever known, Eva is willing to do anything to give Alexander control of her, her love, and definitely her body.

But if Alexander returns hurt and shunned by Eva, will she willingly accept all of his conditions and rules, or will they battle in and out of the bedroom for control and ultimate fulfillment?

Three Stages of Love: Attraction is the exciting next entry into the erotic romance series; featuring a strong heroine, Three Stages of Love: Attraction explores the hesitation felt with losing control and the wonderful reward obtained by embracing the uncontrollable.

Bringing back the same palpitation-inducing romance that made Three Stages of Love: Lust an instant classic, this remarkable follow up novel uses its desires, insecurities, and explosively sexy scenes to draw readers into its erotic love story.

I have to say………. I LOVE the cover art for this series!!!!

The Knight in Shining Armani is BACK! If he was sex on a stick last time, he's a WALKING SEX SUNDAE SMOTHERED IN HOT FUDGE this time!!!

I still love love love this couple!!!!! Even more so after reading Attraction.

I didn’t realize how much I missed Alexander……. I wasn’t sure how TC Anthony was going to bring Alexander back without being cliché. Well, let’s just say it WASN’T. And, I’m not going to tell you how either – you need to find out for yourself.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Love – an emotion that has no rules and no playbook to go by.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It’s been 3 months since Eva threw away her chance at true love and ripped Alexander’s heart to shreds. Before Alexander, Eva had a plan, but now she has nothing. She’s living with regret and guilt that’s almost unbearable. It’s no secret she wants him back, but what is she willing to do or give up in order to make that happen? Alexander is terribly hurt and is not willing to lose Eva again, so he’s taking control this time. Eva’s way didn’t work, now it’s Alexander’s turn. She wants this, she wants him; but, can Eva give up control in order to save her relationship with Alexander? Can they make it through the second stage of love, Attraction? For couples that can’t move past the stages, their relationships don’t generally survive.

This installment is a bit different – in a good way. Where Lust was about the sexual and physical desire, Attraction is about the power struggle – the give and take – it’s about how Eva and Alexander deal with their feelings and emotions and handle other outside influences they have no control over. It was nice to see Eva and Alexander actually discussing their feelings and working to find middle ground TOGETHER .

Eva’s fears and insecurities are front and center, and if she wants this to work, she needs to confront them head on. Eva made decisions that surprised me; at times, I honestly thought she was going to run again. She’s less selfish and focuses on making decisions for her relationship and not necessarily for herself. She actually THINKS before reacting. That’s not to say all of her decisions and reactions are good this time around, but they are better. Oh, and she’s still a bitch at times, but to be honest that’s exactly what I like about her.

I think I fell even more in love with Alexander. At times I just wanted to dive into the pages and jump him. Not only is he sexy , but he’s sensitive and loving as hell. Last time, Alexander let Eva get away with a lot and was willing to sacrifice so much control just to keep her. This time Alexander doesn’t let Eva control the cards as much. Everything he does is out of love, but sometimes it’s hard for him to get her to open her eyes and actually see that. You can’t really fault her – she’s only trying to protect herself from being hurt. Eva tends to dip her foot in the pool when she really just needs to take the chance and jump in with both feet.

Once again the sex scenes were hot, steamy, and well done. They’re not the basis of the book but still play an integral part, and they are done at the right times. They aren’t just thrown in randomly so that there is one for the sake of having one. And this time since Alexander was in the driver seat, well…….. it was a different ball game. I LOVED IT!

If you aren't a fan of this series, you aren’t reading it right. You can’t take it at face value. You need to look beyond the surface of the story. This series isn’t all about what happens to the couple – well it is, but it’s more about how they DEAL with what happens and why they make the decisions they do.

I have to say after reading the second installment, the three stages are making more sense. And, I found myself taking a step back and looking at my own relationship and how it got to where it is today. What was each stage like for me???

I know Attraction wasn’t a short book, but I loved it so much I felt like I flew through it and it was over as soon as it started. I really love this couple and can’t wait to find out what happens next…….

It's really hard to explain this, so I am going to try... I LOVE this series; the characters, (for the most part), the plot line, etc.; but I really didn't like this particular book.

Attraction had a lot of what I like to call ping pong action. Basically the characters would go back and forth about the same thing over and over again in a sick emotional merry-go-round. That being said, I still could not put it down.

The part that frustrates me most about Attraction though, I cannot put here because it would really ruin all of the suspense for the ending portion of the book. All I can say is that it really felt out of character to our beloved Eva to be so careless and out of control to simple "forget"...

Though I will say this about the ending, CONGRATULATIONS SAMANTHA AND MARCUS! Beautiful wedding :)

OMG! I loved the continuation of the story between Alexander and Eva, but Ithink this girl needs to relax a little and just forget about the consequences all the time and let live, live without fear and with all the love she receives from Alexander.
He is a prince charming and so in love, he is capable to doing anything for her.
The book has the same hot scenes as the first one, and sometimes I want to shake Eva until she stops complain about everything , her insecurities has to be vanish.
And the last chapter , what can I say..... I can't believe in what happened.... Please I need the next one for yestarday...
Congrats T C Anthony!

Okay, I liked this book much more than the first book. I was able to understand Eva's anxiety and heart ache over her decision to let Alexander go. I also got her pride in not going after him to tell him she'd made a mistake. I even understood her desire to punish herself through Michael. Her sadness and anxiety were palpable. So when Alexander comes back into her life and makes the decision for her that they aren't going to give up on each other, I'm more than happy that she's taking the chance to let him in. But... I didn't agree with some of the terms of the BDSM contract right off. I was shocked when he tore it up, but said they would still abide by the things she'd agreed to. I was just skeptical of letting him make all of her decisions. And ultimately I was right. She's too strong willed. I understand his intentions of wanting her to let go and just focus on their relationship, but it was unrealistic to go from power woman to Suzy homemaker.

I live in Beverly Hills, and there is no downtown Beverly Hill. I also don't understand why, if Alexander lives in BH and has a home, why he's renting cars. That made no sense to me. I completely agreed with the idea of all the silicone women walking around and all looking alike. It's sad but true.

The there was Chloe. What to say about Chloe? I agreed with Eva one hundred percent. Not only because he didn't tell her, but how Chloe acted when Eva went to visit him at the office and then the threats. There is no way on this earth that woman should have continued working for him. I get that he didn't want to fire her and that they had been friends for a long time, but Alexander is the one who screwed that up by being with her again, which I have to say I don't remember him saying, when he and Eva had broken up for the three months. The moment he slept with an employee whom he saw every day, he should have gotten her another job. It wasn't only a bad decision for him, but for her as well. Did he think she would be okay with a one night stand when she'd obviously been harboring feelings for him and was willing to fall back into bed with him at a moments notice? I mean, come on Alexander. Get a clue. But once she threatened Eva, she should have been out of there. If he wanted to find her another job at another location, that would have been fine, but she should never have been back in his office. I would never talk to him again just for that alone.

I also thought that Samantha's tirade to Eva when she asked if Sam was pregnant was a little over the top. I get that she didn't want to tell Eva she was getting married while she seemed to be going through her thing. But come on. I'm getting married next week? Why so quickly? they'd really only known each other for nine month and it takes a while to plan a wedding. It was just quick and I don't think out of line for Eva to ask that question. Now, the taking care of it part was a bit much. But again, I think Sam's attack was just crazytown.

I also wondered why the doctor never got back to Eva. Yes, she went back to New York. But she said she get back to her in two days and Eva had been back in New York for a week. I wondered if something was going to happen as is did. Can you tell i'm trying to be cryptic and not spill the beans?

At first I was happy that my issues with the grammatical and spelling problems with the first book weren't prevalent in this book. But I was soon proven wrong. I like the characters and the general story of the books, but some of the dialogue is a little dated in how they speak with each other and the author really needs beta readers if she doesn't have an editor, because I found myself having to read sections over and over again in order to figure out what was trying to be said in many cases. words left out, too many words in a sentence, etc. Since the books are generally pretty interesting, I don't think the author would have issues finding good beta readers. But if she has and editor, they should be fired.

Anyway... all that to say, I liked this one much better than the first. Looking forward to the third in the series.

Okay, so here we are again. After reading Lust I was a bit hesitant about starting this one. I was expecting a more emotional read and some more development of what was developing between Alexander and Eva. I'm happy to say that although it was not as great as I was expected, it wasn't a total disappointment.

Alexander is still as hot and yummy as he was in the first book. With his return he brought about much more emotion than before and a whole lot other side to him I failed to see in the previous installment. He was both determined to have what he needed from Eva, but he was also loving and understanding of her. A perfect balance.

Eva, on the other hand, failed to impress me much. For a woman who wanted to be in control of her life she sure made a mess of it in the first half of the book. I find it ironic that it wasn't until the man she rejected returns to save her that she finds some sort balance in her life. Serves her right for being so self-centered.

However, once she's back with Alexander she does make an effort and redeemed herself in my eyes a little bit, then she went ahead and did a stupid, thoughtless thing. Now we are right where we started - me thinking she's immature and careless of anyone's feelings and she behaving like a hormonal teenager and closing off. Pffft!

Having said this, I admit I WILL be reading the next installment. I've invested too much of my time in this story and would like to see how it all plays out. Like they say "Third time's the charm." Here's hoping it is.

I received this title from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange of my honest opinion.

T.C. wrote another amazing book. Mr. Sex on a Stick Alexander is loving, caring and sexy as all hell again. Eva is still mess and is having a hard time with her feelings. I am glad that we did not have to wait until half way through the book for Alexander and Eva to get back together. I don't want to give to much away, but once you start reading this you can't put it down and staying up until 3am is totally worth it. The sex is erotic and the love and passion is amazing. At about 90% I was really hating T.C. because I did not like where it was going, but let me say you will love the end but you will hate it also. I was an emotional wreck and my heart was breaking at times.

T.C. I love and hate you at the same time (LOL) Please bring us Attachment soon!!! <3 xxoo

3.75 stars for me>

The only thing that annoyed me in this book was the language and terms of endearment that they used to each other. It all got a bit flowery... "Take me Alexander and fill me with all the love you hold within you" for example (I just don't know any couples in real life that go around talking to each other like that!)

On the whole the story continues nicely, I love Alexander and how vocal he is during sex! Also love Eva's creativeness and use of toys!

I'll definitely read the third installment when it comes out.

I am going to do this review a little different. My feelings on this book are very indifferent. I liked this book, but at the same time I didn’t like this book. So, I think I will just give you some of the thoughts that ran through my head throughout the book.
In the beginning, I was all for this story. Eva was spiraling out of control. She couldn’t eat. She couldn’t sleep. She was desperate to forget her pain. She was willing to do anything to get the pain out of her heart and mind. I was right with her. I saw the train wreck coming. I couldn’t wait for Alexander to sweep in and knock some sense in to her.
Once Anthony saved the day, there is the “agreement.” As always, I wanted to slap Eva. She accepts a relationship with Anthony on his terms, yet she still keeps running. Why? Why must she always run? Man, I wanted to smack her.
Enter good old, Los Angeles California in all of its glory. This is where the story started took a dive. I was losing interest, FAST! So now we are at the Gossip Girls/Real Housewives/Melrose Place drama. I really had to force myself through all of this. I wanted to smack multiple bitches, and I found myself becoming extremely disinterested in the story.
Eventually, the book redeemed itself. We were back on track. All was right with the world… Enter the scare. What scare? Well, I can’t tell you that. I am not a spoiler. I was back to hanging on every word. Here is also the point I now wanted to smack Anthony. Stupid men. I am shaking my head now thinking about this part of the book. But, as always, we have Eva taking off AGAIN! But to be honest, I was almost with her, but not quite. I think I would have pushed her into a wall or something for over reacting again.
Then I heard wedding bells. Everyone came together and all was good. Some issues were resolved, a wedding ensued without any drama… Everyone was happy. The one thing nagging me came to light. It came at the end, and I was left there holding my Kindle with my jaw on the floor. Now before this ending, I was still deciding whether or not I was looking forward to the next book in this series. The ending decided it. Hook, line and sinker. I am now anticipating the third book. Not sure when it will be out, but I will be looking for it.

NetGalley - "Three Stages of Love: Attraction" by T.C. Anthony I started out reading this trilogy through NetGalley and got hold of the second book. I haven't read the first book but gave a try anyway. From page one I didn't put it down until I was finished.
This relationship isn't all about passion, sex, lust or love. It's much more than that, it touch's other aspects of the human behavior while it's confronted with grief and loss, betrayal and the overwhelming feelings of loneliness.
Evangeline is a woman filled with grief, a dark pain that surrounds her soul and the only way she can fight the feeling of emptiness is through pain. Shocking to the core, the author had the ability of writing the scenes through perfection and really the fact that people might try this to forget their pain is beyond me, I really felt for this woman, good job M. Anthony.
As the pieces are picked up along the way and Alexander try's to move forward with Evangeline I realized this books were much different from the other erotica series that I've been reading. The story evolves with aspects that we are faced in real life, shallow people, betrayal, selfishness, love, understanding and forgiveness. They are all too many words for a book that speaks it's own mind and is unique in this genre.
Alexander is also a character that I grew fond of. Not being an expert in all the Dominant/Submissive lifestyle, he tries to understand he's partner's needs, the heart as well as the mind, in bed, in their own house and in between the relationships that come along the social life outside each other.
What marks this couple is the great love that they feel for each other and the will to be together after all.
To those that want to start reading this trilogy I recommend that they start with the first book. I've already got it and read it, loved it and the review will be coming shortly.
Another great mind to join the others that I've already met through NetGalley and I'm hoping the author will give me a chance to read the final book. I can't wait...

OK...I liked the first book..key word LIKED...I started reading this book going into it thinking "this should be tolerable". By the end I was IN LOVE with Alexander and Eva!!! This book in my opinion was way better than the first book. I come from a long line of strong women and we are for a lack of better words..hmm "go getters". So the beginning of this book was frustrating for the author (my opinion) and for myself I think. She is strong and confident but when it comes to love she is dumb as all get out..lol!!! So having said that, she takes some wrong turns. Eva has a tendency to put her foot in her mouth and say things that later she always regrets. However, I enjoyed that Alexander was able to put his foot down and try to make things work and defend their relationship at ALL costs!! Now through out this book it just seemed that time flew by me. I was so into it that I didn't even make dinner for my family ( Thank goodness for Chic-Fil-La) !! There is a part in this story that I agreed with Eva and the whole Chloe situation. He should have let her go a LONG time ago!!!! Definitely after she threatened Eva!! I am not so sure this is the last we will hear from Chloe! Now about Alexander, he is soo sweet and sooo loveable especially when his sensitive side shows. MAN CANDY!!! SEXY!! The three stages of love makes a lot of sense now that I am reflecting on the stages. Everyone deals with love differently and in retrospect deals with their own demons in their own way, but ultimately the end result is not the same for everyone. Love doesn't come easy, but when it comes your way it is definitely worth fighting for...right?? I thoroughly enjoyed this book and find myself tapping my fingernails patiently waiting for the third book of this series!!! (let's see how long that lasts..lol)

In Attraction, T.C. Anthony took me on a quite the emotional journey with Eva and Alexander! The once strong, fiercely independent Eva was reduced to a sad, empty shell of a person, trapped in the depths of her despair. To numb her pain, she turned to the darkness and danger of sadomasochism: "I was being punished, and I surprisingly accepted the pain. I was doing penance for the pain I caused both Alexander and myself; and I almost felt cleansed". Eva was sacrificing her body "for having been weak and cowardly". You see, she was a control freak and Alexander made her lose control over her emotions. She was scared, consumed by sadness and darkness. She just wanted to forget the pain and move on with her life. Like a gallant Knight, Alexander swooped in and saved Eva from herself. He forgave her and offered her a fresh start to their relationship in which she had to relinquish control. What I thought was going to be a dom/sub relationship really wasn't at all. Alexander really just wanted Eva to be happy and whole so that she could let go and love. The book was filled with lots of drama and angst as the couple grappled with their struggles for power. Eva was forced to decide how much of her life she was willing to sacrifice in the name of love. Surprisingly, she found herself falling into the domestic role of cooking/caretaking that she seemed to embrace. While old frienships were strained, tried, and tested, new friendships/alliances were formed in a somewhat soap-opera type fashion, complete with backstabbing, confrontations and betrayals. The issues of personal value/self-worth,trust,allegience,fidelity and forgiveness were brought to the surface and culminated in an admission of love. Will this couple be able to find a middle ground and make it to the next stage of love? I can't wait to read Attachment to find out! This was another 4.5 star read. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I left Eva strongly aggravated by her cold and selfish personality. A diva accustomed to the world revolving around her who slammed the door to love proposed by Alexander. I ventured into this second volume just to confirm my bad first impression. Well, I did well to persevere because the author blew me away.
Her story showed that people in love could change.

Certainly, before becoming pleasant, Eva goes through a phase of self-destruction rather drab. I even wondered if this part was not added because the BDSM is very trendy these days because honestly, the relationship between Alexander and herself do not need to be spicy up.
Even if the author wants to show her guilty after missing her chance, it is a bit extreme. At the same time, it fits with the particulary excessive reactions of the young woman.

Then again, her personality changes when she is landing in Los Angeles. Eva turns, this time, into the perfect boring housewife. Obviously, she loses it. She goes crazy because nobody can change so drastically.
However, the young woman has dared to take risks. She dared to endanger herself, her carreer for love and her priorities become different. Suddenly, she became more human in my eyes and less hateful. I took a liking to her and her twisted ways of seeing relationships.

But beyond Eva's mood swings, the story is enriched with new characters, new dramas and Alexander becomes darker. He is not the expected prince. He also hides many skeletons in his closet. But don't run away, he remains, despite its awkwardness, a charming man, full of good attentions.

The third volume will be particularly interesting.

The beginning of this book is heart wrenching and infuriating! Eva just won't give in to her heart. She did for a moment at the end of the first book but now she just won't budge and she is so miserable and out of sorts-Infurating I tell you! When it all finally comes to a head and you think it just might work out for these too there is an underlining darkness that you know Eva could not be happy in the life that is set before her. As infuriating as it is that Eva can't give into love very easily I could most certainly see her fear in losing herself in Alexander and giving up all she has worked so hard for. All I kept thinking is there has to be a comprise coming soon. Well Alexander did some things that frankly were uncalled for and were surely going to send Eva running. After a week apart they are due to see each other and it was quite a reunion. Lots of hot juicy steamy sex thoughout the book. Lots of drama. The end is one that will leaving you wanting more & is a jaw dropper! "Three Stages of Love: Attachment" is coming summer 2013.

Quotes:

"You are the tastiest of creatures, Alexander, and the sexiest of them too"

"I'm starting to think that Disney modeled Prince Charming after Alexander."

"I want to take you. I want to fill you. I want to live eternally within your soul."

"You are my existence. You are my summer breeze and winter frost."

What a rollercoaster these two take us on!
The beginning broke my heart; I was near tears several times. In a way Eva got what she asked for (at the end of the first book) but she tortured herself mentally, emotionally…and physically over something SHE asked for, she wanted. She unknowingly made others suffer needlessly as well. Her stubbornness effected friends, family, fellow employees and worst of all, Alexander.
Throughout this whole book I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Several times I felt the relationship between Alexander and Eva was pushed to the very limit, but they always managed to work through it, remember what they meant to each other, how they couldn’t go on without the other. This was definitely the driving force behind this book.
Alexander made several…rather large booboo’s. Most of the time I could see he had the best of intention, but other times I had to ask WTF were you thinking, Alexander?
I loved reading Eva’s empowering moments (she had several). She’s a strong personality and that definitely shined through several times. I just wanted to high-five her and yell girl power!
The ending was…sigh….We are well and properly set up for book three that’s for sure. Our couple remained intact at the end, but we will start book three with a bang for sure.

After reading the first book, and not really caring for it...I went into this second installment with an open mind.

It still didn't do anything for me. If Eva(ngeline) wasn't going to be this super control freak with her career, she of course had to take control in other areas of her life...and it got old. Plus, seeing Alexander as such a wimp when it came to her. I understand a man in love, but he really let her walk all over him for being described as such a "get-what-he-wants-kind-of-man".

There were moments when I thought, "Ah, here we go, it's getting a little bit better." But, no.

The idea and concept of the book I liked, but where TC Anthony took it was weak. One of the things that got to me was the way the conversations were played out. The charcters didn't have normal "back and forth" banter, they usually ended up with long winded speeches every time.

Once, again I tried, but it still didn't jive with me.

This is one of those books that sounds good judging by the blurb and the cover, and you're excited to read it but when you start to read it, you just couldn't quite get into it.

I couldn't really sympathize with the main character, Eva. She comes off as shallow and selfish in spite of her supposed "sacrifice" in letting Alexander go because she's afraid of losing control. Huh? She's supposedly an educated, successful career woman in her thirties and yet she's thinking like an insecure 16 year old most of the time and she comes off as a major bitch through the whole book.

The book is paced really well. It's not that long and it's a very sexy read. But I think the heroine killed it for me.
