From the moment Nolan Pratt walked into Alexa Arnold’s life everything was forever changed. After a year of dating, the ring was on her finger, the house was purchased, and life was heading down Pleasantville Lane. Everything was perfect.

Or so they thought.

With help from his parent’s inheritance, Nolan takes on a new business adventure, utilizing all his free time. What was once their life- carefree with minimal responsibilities, is no more. When Alexa starts to feel the pressure from school, wedding planning, and lack of help from Nolan, exhaustion kicks in and feelings get hurt, testing the strength of their relationship. But, if there is one thing that Nolan will never compromise, it’s Alexa’s happiness. There’s nothing Nolan Pratt won’t do to make sure Alexa is well taken care of, loved, and happy.

When Nolan’s past resurfaces- a past that Alexa didn’t know existed- will it all be too much? Will Nolan’s devotion to Alexa’s happiness cost him their relationship and lose him the only thing that has ever mattered in his life? Or will Nolan discover that his past doesn’t determine his future and he is worth the happiness he doesn’t think he deserves?

I try to be completely honest in reviewing my own books, so I have to admit that this book is like nothing I have ever written up until this point. I challenged myself quite a bit as I wrote it, exploring emotional depths that I once was afraid of approaching- both sexually and emotionally. You will experience love, heartache, explore sexual boundaries, and be surprised about past secrets. For the first time in my writing career, I am terrified to release this book, anxiously nervous to hear what you all think. Of course, I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it, and PLEASE tell me what you think. Good or bad, I want to know! Happy reading :)

I was so looking forward to more Nolan and Alexa but I had a turbulent beginning with this story but smoother sailing towards the end.

With Alexa and Nolan their relationship blossomed fast in Planning on Forever with not too much stress and a quick engagement in Giving you Forever we start to see the meat and potatoes of Alexa and Nolan because after three years Alexa realizes that she really doesn't know Nolan that well. WHAT? (After three years you don't know anything from his past?)

The first 50% of the book felt like this SEX, a wee bit of story line, SEX, small story line, SEX, SEX, a bit more story line, SEX... you are getting my gist of this. Don't get me wrong I normally am a big fan of loads of sex but the first part felt like way too much sex (and the same formula of sex almost every time) and little substance.

At the 50% line substance started to take over and you get to see the true side of Nolan and how much guilt and loss that he carries with him every day. With the love and support of Alexa he is able to let go, forgive and finally move forward so he can truly free to love and be happy.

Nolan and Alexa are a sweet couple and Nolan is a bit over the top with his love but I don't mind as he could smother me any day.

I do like this series and I have liked some of the books more than others but I am hooked and want to find out what happens next.

This book was cute and had some good and bad elements but its one of those books and series that are quick and sweet with a lotta smut thrown in.

Because of the bumpy start for me will give it...

3 Bumpy stars!

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I have to say that I've enjoyed Ashley Wilcox's writing previously. Although this one I was sweetly and pleasantly surprised that she had branched out and stretched her writing in an amazing way! I loved the wonderfully sexy descriptions. It wasn't smutty, but showed the deep emotions that a couple that is truly in love feel during those intimate times.

The sexiness and the raw emotions in Giving you Forever touched me to my soul. This is definitely a book that will stay with you long after you read the last sentence.

I want to start out by saying that I love the Forever Series... From the beginning I have been a huge fan of all the books. Leah and Matt from the Forever #2 in the series run close tie for favorite couple in this series... Nolan and Alexa are my absolute favorite from the beginning. I loved them so much in their first book Planning on Forever (Forever #1). When Alexa finds herself heartbroken after Collin her first love betrays her, she finds Nolan Pratt. I truly felt like they were soul mates from the very beginning. I was excited to hear that they were going to get another book. Giving you Forever became a highly anticipated book for me.

So the book is following Alexa as she is making her away through college to become a teacher and Nolan is struggling with getting his business started. This creates a lot of ships passing in the night moments for these two...They were so used to spending all their time together that their jobs and school got in the way. Alexa is left to do a lot of the things on her own, not that she minds but she really wants Nolan around more, especially when it comes to planning the wedding. Alexa is too damn sweet at times and doesn't want to say anything about it because she knows how much it means to Nolan.

When Nolan first met Alexa was broken from his past, a past Alexa only knew pieces of. When the full truth comes out it this book it is a heartbreaking tale. But the past isn't all that is heartbreaking. Alexa and Nolan go through some devastation of their own in this book. It was so sad and I was so hurting for both of them... When tragedy strikes Nolan makes some pretty rash decisions. I hated him for what he did to Alexa in these moments. I wanted to strangle the boy. I was a little more then upset at seeing this turn of events in the book. Alexa holds very true to her strength and proves a few times that she is one strong woman... I was so proud of her but also a little angry with her for not getting more pissed off at Nolan at times.

In the end my overall feeling was that it was good, but this wasn't my favorite in the series. I think the one thing that bothered me the most was the amount of sex throughout the book. I knew that Ashley said she stepped out of her comfort zone for this one, and although I don't mind sex in a book at all, it was slightly unrealistic to me. It seemed like their was just a little story at times and a whole lot of sex. I was also a little disappointed that the wedding was so glossed over in the end. The book was so filled with angst and drama and I really wanted to see a special ceremony. To see their vows to one another, that undying love and devotion that the continued to promise each other. I was so vested in their story I felt like that would have been nice to see them going through that part. I give this one 3.5 stars. I liked it but wanted to see a whole lot more in this story. Nolan and Alexa still hold the top spot for favorite couple in this series for me. Their love speaks volumes and their devotion to making things work is what makes them so special!!!

I was given this book as an ARC for a truthful review.

Ok so this book was the 4th book in a series. I was kinda nervous about it because I didn't read the other 3 books in the series. I will say, I don't feel like I missed out on anything. The author did a great job touching back to readers like me and quickly explaining what was up. I will say I will defo be looking into making time to read the first 3 books. This was really a great story.

So before I begin my review I will say you need a couple of things ....1...lots and lots of ice water because DAYUM the sex scenes were HOT!!! 2. Make sure you have the air conditioner on and set very kow to coooool ya off. 3. Make sure you have a date/lover/significant other around for when the book is done!!! *Snickers* Trust me on this one!!! i will say the reason I only gave a 4 star is that i wished it was a little bit longer because I felt the ending was a little bit rushed.......

Ok the review.....*clears throat*....holy moly was this a great read. Alexa and Nolan have an amazing relationship. They are both very needy but in a good way...like not annoying but need to spend time with the other. Nolan is like DREAM BOYFRIEND!! he is always calling Alexa his princess and doing everything to make her happy. Alexa is stunned that Nolan would want to be with her even 3 years into their relationship. She is so happy to spend time with him and plan their dream wedding. The relationship is a very physical one but they do a good job communicating needs with each other.

The drama happens when Alexa hires a wedding planning...you gget the feeling that she is someone from Nolans past based on her reaction to his name when Alexa brings it up. *insert ominous music* When Nolan sees her and tells Alexa about his past with the woman...my heart broke for him. I dont want to give it away but *sigh* it was defo not what I expected and it made me look at him with even dreamier eyes.

Drama #2 is when the first drama and another issue with Alexa happens. Nolan feels he is a bay choice and basically cursed. He abandons Alexa. Well I must admit at this point in the book, I kinda figured Alexa would go all weepy....NOPE WRONG!! She basically goes crazy and tracks him down.....

I loved the ending of the book...alot of resolution happens and the epilogue was great. I loved the HEA for Nolan and Alexa!!!

Ohhhh my………what an amazing story.

I want to start off by saying that I haven’t read any other books by Ashley Wilcox. This was my first one. But let me tell you this definitely won’t be my last.

Giving You Forever begins with Nolan and Alexa getting married. She isn’t even 21 yet and wants to wait to get married till she can at least drink at her wedding. This is understandable and they both agree to wait. So after there engagement party, the story flashes forward 3 years and Alexa and Nolan are beginning to plan the wedding. The timing is hard for Nolan because he is trying to get his new gym opened and doesn’t have a lot of extra time to spare for wedding planning. This is where the strain on their relationship begins. Alexa is feeling the pressure of the wedding planning falling on her alone and feels like Nolan isn’t making time for them anymore. They decide to hire a wedding planner to help her with the planning. They both are very excited to have the help and they think that this may solve all of the problems………or does it?? You will have to read to see what happens because I don’t want to give anything away. But let me tell you this is just the beginning of the struggles that these two experience through out the book. The great thing is you get to see how they work it out together as a couple that is truly in love.

These characters were amazing. I truly loved them together. I could almost feel how much they loved each other. They both went through a lot emotionally in this story, both together and individually. Now Nolan…….YUM! He has a lot to overcome within the story. But even with everything going on, he always made sure Alexa was first in his mind. I also loved how he would get all alpha male when it came to Alexa. He just couldn’t get enough of her! I just loved him. And the sex scenes were SOOO HOTT and written wonderfully. I think Ashley Wilcox did a great job writing Alexa as well. She made Alexa a great strong female lead even with the hardships she had to go through. I think she was written beautifully.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Ashley Wilcox did an amazing job with these characters and the story. I will be recommending her to all my friends!

I give this story 5 stars!!

This was a very good book.Nolan and Alexa are a match made in heaven. So many sweet moments.I loved how Nolan always called her babydoll..Sexy Nolan, noooo words.Long blonde hair with crystal blue eyes.Ashley has done something is this book I have never seen before and loved it,she used real looking texts and real hand written letters.Nolan wants Alexa to have the wedding of her dreams. But he is sooo busy with setting up his gym they do not have much time together. But when they are together,MY GOD IS THE SEX HOT.He is sooo busy he never even notices that Alexa's best friend is a male.He tries to go all out with wedding, including a cake by THE CAKE BOSS,cause he feels soo guilty that he has no time to help plan the wedding with her.He lets her hire a wedding planner. They are a a young couple but truly are happy and in love.Have I mentioned the sex is HOTTTT.Alexa hires Meg to help plan the wedding.I loved reading how playful they were.Soon things start to fall apart wen Meg is found to be an old girlfriend to Nolan.Very very sad story to read about Nolan as a teenager.19 years old with a world of guilt.Eating at him dailey. He feels like everything that goes wrong is always his fault.Loosing his parents and the story with it,wrecked me.He looses something precious because of Meg and cant forgive. So once he sees Meg he will not allow her to be part of the wedding. The words Nolan uses while talking to Alexa are heart warming."let my love poor out".Nolan has a great sence of humor, hoping the angels in heaven dont see him having sex, funny as hell,I have never even given that a thought..His love for her pours out with each sentence."you ground me,no one has ever been able to do that".But his words then are still funny as well,"I could have made a whole family with the load I just filled you with".They must go through some sad times, but Nolan starts to finally heal with Alexa's help.I love the ring,ALWAYS IN MY HEART,FOREVER IN MY SOUL.In the end he feels like God has finally forgiven him, he gets the peace that he so needs. This book was just damn amazing...DID I MENTION THE GREAT SEX THEY HAD???yes buy and read this book, its a MUST!!

I absolutely love Ashley Wilcox, in fact, I was super excited to get this book to review.

This book is very different that the other's because there is a lot more physically going on. Like dang, they are freakin rabbits! (Yes, I know what category that this book falls.) They are getting married, Nolan wants it to be perfect, Alexa gets exactly what she wants... that is until Nolan meets Meg. I will stop right there because I do not want to spoil it for anyone. :)

Alexa is very needy in this book, and Nolan is always there for her...well, most of the time. Nolan is super successful, and Alexa never has to want for anything, especially while she is still in school.

Nolan is Nolan, and is hard working, great fiancé, and gives Alexa anything she wants.

I have to say that my favorite part is the ending of this book, it gives insight into Nolan's past, present, and future. In fact, the end made all my other thoughts disappear of how I felt due to all the rabbit activity. I stated before that this wasn't may fav. Ashley Wilcox book, and I think that's because I wanted more than just the physical part of Nolan and Alexa. I wanted to hear their thoughts, feeling, raw emotions, and what made them tick.

If you have read any of the others in this series, you will want to read this book. It gives insight into their future and Nolan's past. A lot of thoughts I had in Waiting on Forever were answered in Giving You Forever. For me, I think because I was accustomed to the "clean" version of Ashley's writing, I had a hard time with this one. So if you want to know more about Alexa and Nolan... make sure you 1-click Giving Your Forever... it's H-O-T y'all!

3.5 Stars; OMG was there a lot of steam. Hot, hot steam. This couple was hot from the start.

The story begins with the couple at their engagement party. You instantly feel Nolan’s love for Alexa. He just sees no wrong in her, which upset me a little. He wants to give her everything and anything her heart desires. Nolan, he is just a sweet guy. It killed me that he had a hard time accepting that he was worthy of Alexa’s love. Of course her was worthy of her love!!!

Did I feel connected to the characters? I had a hard time connecting to Alexa’s character. Nolan was a hard worker. He was trying to open his gym so he spent hours at work. Only, Alexa would give him a hard time (and whined) about him working late. She wanted the $30,000 wedding but she did not work. She was still in school, but I was hoping she would be more understanding. Nolan was a nice guy. Loving, understanding, I really liked him. Sometimes, I just wanted him to tell her to leave him alone.

Pace of the Story: Very good

Positives: The author has a great writing style. The story flowed. I did feel like any of it dragged. You immediately felt the love Nolan had for Alexa.

Negatives: I thought the way Nolan handled a particular issue was a little immature. However, I forgave him since I really liked him. Some situations were predictable, but that was okay. It worked for this story.

Do I recommend? Worth the read if only for sexy Nolan.

Bottom line: The plot is nicely done, the reader is able to relate to the hurdle that the couple must face.

Book Format Read: A copy was provided in exchange for an honest review.

Ashley Ashley Ashley...Whatever am I going to do with you? You give me up, you give me down. You give me breath taking, you give me take my breath away. Alexa and Nolan are not even my fave characters (yes I admit it) and I have read and re-read this book at least three times already. Ashley has a way of pulling your emotions out of you, sometimes forcefully and generally after getting you all hot and bothered. Being her first fully blown erotica, Giving has a lot of MIND-BLOWING naughty bits but nothing is repetitive and she always keeps you on your toes. There are more than one or two twists that you just do not see coming....Jamie for example...I KNOW RIGHT???!!!!! And in the end, I believe the story rounded out quite nicely. The characters took some lumps getting to where there were going, but I think Nolan finally came through in giving Alexa all that he promised and more.

Ashley Wilcox is fantastic, she is imaginative and real. She brings to the table exactly what she wants you to read and doesn't fluff over the really tough stuff. There were tough scenes in this book, not going to lie. I used up a pack of tissues and hug or two from my kiddos to get through it. It is another addition that I am adding to my collectors shelf. Each book she writes gets better and better and I could never be more proud to read the magic that flows from her pen.

I'm not sure where to start! I have read everyone of Ashley's books (at least twice). Giving You Forever is her best yet! Don't get me wrong, I wasn't sure anything would compare to Waiting On Forever. This is how much I love that book. Ashley took a chance, wrote the words that were screaming in her head! Raw emotion, sexuality dripping off the pages, past secrets that blew my mind! A blooming love between sexy Nolan, and the beautiful Alexa. Nolan has a very hard time with feeling worthy of Alexa's love, and when his dark past comes rushing in it could be enough to break anyone! Lets just say I was pretty shocked, I couln't get to the next page quick enough to find out what would happen.

What do you get when you mix an amazing Author, a book full of erotic, raw emotions, a dark past and two people who are so madly in love? You get a masterpiece!

Keep your eyes on Ashley's Facebook Author page. I maybe gifting several e-books on release day!

Giving you forever was a perfect ending to Alexa and Nolan's story.

Two amazing people who loved each other so much. And would do anything for the ones they love.

This book had me swooning over Nolan he was just amazingly sweet and compassionate. He truly showed his love for Alexa.

There are alot of steamy parts... Oh and they were amazing! Hehe

There are some tragic events that make you feel so much for Nolan and Alexa.

They are amazing together and love conquers all. Nolan thinks he is not good enough but Alexa thinks otherwise!

Truly a beautiful story and a wonderful ending to their love story!

Thank Ashley again for this great story looking forward to your next books!

I have issues with books where the main character is an alpha in the bed but when the going gets tough he bails. (yes, I am talking to you Never Too Far by Abi Glines)Girls, it's not okay. Hear me when I say You want a man that sticks around when you are going through emotional hell. Not one that runs.

There are things in this book that are sweet. Gonna take some time and think it over before writing this review.

Cause right now all I feel is......

I need to say this, I have never met any two person as insatiable as this two! Wow! They can't get there hands off each other, literally!
Anyway the story is refreshing after Planning forever, I get to know Nolan more and oh my God, another book boyfriend to die for. I don't think there is anyone as sweet and passionate as him in real life! I want a Nolan, seriously!

Waiting on forever is still my favorite in this series. I just love Matt I want more of him.

Wow!!! I loved this book. I love all of Ashley's books, but this one was something that she really took a chance on and it has paid off big time. I cannot wait to hear what everyone else has to say about it. I just cannot even find the right words to express how I felt about this story. I have read it twice already and fall in love over and over again.

Special review on my blog july 1:
http://pleaseanotherbook.tumblr.com/p...

Nolan and Alexa appear to have found the perfect match in one another. A year into dating he's put a ring of her finger and is announcing to the world that he has found the woman of his dreams and plans to make her his. What appears to be paradise and the beginning of their happily ever after soon turns into a stressful relationship that eats away at Alexa.

Nolan's parents left him an inheritance that has allowed him to finally follow his dream of one day opening his own gym. With his friend Mike, they become partners and begin building their dream empire. What neither one of them expected, was that for dream would eat up so much of their time. Both of them spending far too much time away from their families and no free time, no days off. Nolan doesn't seem to see that he's spending far too much time away from Alexa until he forgets one night to meet her at a restaurant, leaving her standing there for hours and feeling like a fool.

Alexa has been on cloud nine. She is going to marry the man of her dreams and their life together is wonderful. They attraction to one another is incredible and they are meant for one another. But Alexa can't help the feeling that she comes second to Nolan, his first love being his beloved gym. They only spend ten minutes together in the morning and a little time together at night. Alexa is in her senior year of college and works as a teacher's assistant in the afternoon. On top of that she's planning her own wedding and the pressure of everything is killing her so one night, she comes up with an idea that she hopes Nolan will agree to, a wedding planner. Nolan doesn't want to spend the extra money, but decides that Alex could use the extra support so he agrees. Alexa meets with Meg a wedding planner, and while Meg tells her there is no more open appointments when she hears Nolan's name she decides to take on the wedding herself.

Everything seem to be going great with the wedding, that is until Nolan decides that he should be more involved when Alexa reveals how much she misses spending time with him. The second Nolan arrives at the florist, he explodes pointing an angry finger at Meg but calling her Margo. Alexa is not sure what to make of the encounter and pulls Nolan home and demands an explanation. Turns out he knows Margo from high school. He went through a difficult time after his parents died and Margo was suppose to be what pulled him out, but her ultimate act of betrayal changed Nolan's life forever, leading him on the path to good and Margo out of his life forever.

Margo returning into Nolan's life, no matter if it was only for a short time, changed Nolan. He started to see things differently and ultimately leads Nolan to do the unthinkable when tragedy strikes Nolan and Alexa. Will Nolan finally be able to learn that he's not responsible for what happened in his life and that he deserves happiness? Will Nolan and Alexa ever make it down the aisle?

At first when I started reading this, I was a bit confused because Alexa and Nolan seemed so happy, it just seemed like in the beginning they were so happy, so I thought this was going to be a book about a wedding and a happily ever after. I thought there would be nothing in between. That is until Nolan started spending too many hours away from Alexa at his new gym and his clients at his old gym. Right from there I could see that there were going to be problems between this fairy tale couple. When Nolan did the unthinkable, it changed my mind from this book being a three to a four star rating. While I found the sex scenes in this a little too similar for my liking, it was clear that these two were very passionate about one another and overall it was a good read which is why I gave it four stars.

First off, I would like to say that even though this is the fourth book in a series, you don't have to read all the others to understand this one. I thought this book was great, and gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars!

My Review
This is a story about Alexa Arnold and Nolan Pratt. After a year of dating, Alexa finally has her ring and a beautiful home. Yes she's young being that shes only a freshman in college, but Alex and Nolan are head over heels for each other and know this is forever. With Nolan busy opening up his own Gym, he has little time to help Alexa plan for their wedding. Therefore he allows Alexa to hire one of the best wedding planners around.

With Nolan constantly devoting his time with the Gym construction, and Alexa busy with student teaching classes and planning the wedding, things begin to take a toll on their relationship. Alexa isn't afraid to tell Nolan how she feels and when she's finally had enough of waking up alone and planning their wedding without him, she lets Nolan know. The last thing Nolan wants is Alexa unhappy. She is his world and he would move heaven and earth to make her happy. So when Nolan decides to take off early from the gym and surprise Alexa and the wedding planner at the florists shop, everything changes. Nolan's past literally smacks him in the face, and he must explain to Alexa why he never shared this piece of his past with her. Watch this beautiful story unfold as this couple goes through real life challenges while encouraging one another to overcome extraordinary obstacles.

“Morning, doll,” he greets me, leaning down and pecking my forehead.
“Morning, rock god,” I joke as I steal a piece of bacon before hopping on one of the bar stools that line the kitchen island.
“Too bad you really can’t play the guitar in real life. You’d make a super hot guitarist. I’d have to fight back all the groupie chicks waiting to get in your pants.”
He licks his lips and raises his eyebrows with a smirk, before pushing his hair back out of his eyes. He even has the rocker hair.
“Hell yeah, I’ve always wanted to do it in the back of a tour bus while driving across the country.” He smiles like he’s onto something. “Maybe I’ve met my calling. Maybe I’m supposed to be a rock star!”
“I hate to burst your bubble, babe, but you need to know how to actually play the guitar.” I give him an unfortunate smile. “I don’t think you’d get very far playing on a spatula,” I add, shrugging my shoulders. “But let me tell you…” I hold up my finger, making an important point. “You look darn sexy doing it.”
“I looked pretty damn hot, didn’t I?”

I adored these characters!!! I thought Nolan's love and possessiveness for Alexa was genuine and pure. You could literally feel the chemistry these two have together. Their simply crazy for each other and the sex scenes were OH SOOOO HAWWWT!!!!!! The fact that their were lots of sex scenes was definitely a PLUS! Lol.

The author did a great job of evoking emtions out of me with her writing. I felt every moment of this book, and could relate to the characters and their struggles whole heartedly. As a reader, this is the most important aspect of a book for myself.

Some really cool things I would like to point out in this book was the authors creativity. She uses actual text message screen shots of conversations that happen between Nolan and Alexa. Also pictures of post it notes with messages they would leave for each other around the house. I found this very exciting and engaging. I loved it!!

This book has no cliffhanger (thank you Ashley Wilcox!) and has a FABULOUSLY sweet epilogue! I loved this book from start to finish and actually finished it in one sitting. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a sweet romance.

I was content with where the first book ended. But as usual, I love hearing more about my favorite MCs so I naturally picked up this book. Couldn't resist it and I'd already decided that I was gonna follow this author's work.
Nolan was soooo sexy and I loved the way he loved her and was devoted to her happiness. Alexa is a cute girl and he is the love of her life too.

I'm a bit concerned though, that these prices were set for each book:
Kindle $4.99. Paperback $10.74 and $8.60. I'm finding the prices inflated based on the fact that both are relatively short stories. Despite this, I wasn't put off.

I didn't notice that Amazon lists this book as erotica:
"Books > Literature & Fiction > Erotica", so I was surprised to find that the whole book is based on their sex life, with a few other story lines added in. So Amazon has categorised it correctly as this is not a New YA.

Its basically the story of their daily lives, consisting of constant sex, college, work and families. Not much angst until these plots are added in:
- her miscarriage
- his secrets
- him abandoning her
These were the source of angst to keep the reader's interest. Plots that have been overused and it didn't belong in the lives of such a solid couple. Not after they had already had their HEA, anyway. There are many other heavy angsty plots that would have done them justice.

We find out that Nolan has been keeping a huge part of himself from Alex. A part that cannot only be relegated to his past because he is severely affected by it in the present, to the extent that he leaves her at a time when she has never needed him more. His reasons for leaving her are unrealistic - I wondered if people really do that? For those reasons? I'm really not convinced especially as he is determined to move on, having taken all his clothing, making plans to sell his business and completely disappear from everyone he held dear. Poof!

Its a betrayal of gigantic proportions (I shudder to think what his reaction would have been had she kept this type of secret from him.)to not share this kind of thing with your partner and it totally changed the way I perceive Nolan. It isn't consistent with the character that has been built up in this book and the first one. He was loyal and everything a girl could want in a man. To me, he now comes across as weak and dishonest. A man that can keep secrets of this magnitude does not deserve a worthy heroine like Alexa. She has gone through so much hurt and betrayal already but being sweetly TSTL she now unfortunately forgives and forgets without much ado.

So now, I have no idea who Nolan really is. This is sad cos Ive gone through one and a half books with him and now he is...gone...just not Nolan anymore. I would have forgiven him if he had come clean without being pushed to do so. I wonder now if he would ever have told her had he not been forced to.

I need to finish this story but am reluctant to do so because he needs to do MAJOR grovelling and I'm not sure he will. She needs to NOT run after him and bring him home. He needs to come back to her on his own.

ETA - Ive finished this book and like I expected, she runs to find him and he doesnt grovel.

When going into Giving You Forever I had high hopes, especially with the overwhelming amount of positive reviews. I could not believe nothing, Absolutely nothing but boredom is what I felt for 70% of this. All I receive was a taste of drama then back to boredom.

Part of my disappointment was caused by my lack of research. I did not know before reading that Giving You Forever is part 4 of a series. Oops.

While Ms. Wilcox was able to articulate a very beautiful story I was just out done by the day to day of wedding planning, going to school, and getting a business of the ground. Honestly its the stuff I do everyday out side of the wedding planning and opening a business.

Nolan and Alexa have a very loving relationships and they equally think the world of each other. Which at times was gag me with a spoon worthy. I will admit that their sex life was off the charts caliente!

It does need to be said that even that even though that these two were crazy in love, their relationship needed some major work before walking down the isle. Alexa on some level has an immature personality. I mean who runs home to mommy and daddy because of a minor disagreement. Nolan sent me over the edge when he left Alexa during a time she needed him the most. He even had the audacity to leave a note rather than face her.

Needless to say I felt Giving You Forever felt like forever to get through to the point I did not think I would finish, but that's not going to stop me from starting from the beginning with this series. Maybe I'll find a new appreciation for Nolan and Alexa or The Forever Series for that matter?

Thanks to my signing up for this blog tour (this is my first one) Giving You Forever was my first introduction to Ashley Wilcox. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be on this tour, as I am not sure how long it would have taken me to discover Ashley. Since receiving and reading the ARC for this book, I discovered it is part of a series and is #4 at that. Now I have to go back and get the first 3…..if they are as good as this one, I can’t wait to backtrack and read them all :)

I feel in love with Alexa and Nolen. I love their sweetness, their tenderness, and even their co-dependence. I love their fun-loving relationship, their flirtiness, and everything else about their young love. There were times when I was in relationship envy….OMG – who wouldn’t want a love like Nolan’s. On the other hand, knowing me I would probably feel suffocated….but I would sure like to try it out.

So, I read chapter after chapter, loving it all, but kept wondering when the sweetness was going to end…..surely all of this is too good to be true, right? I mean really, this relationship I am reading about between Alexa and Nolan...it's the kind that gives you too high of expectations for what a 'real-world' relationship is....right? I mentioned the book to a friend this morning, mentioning its sweetness and lovey-dovey sentiments, scenes, etc and told her I was just waiting for ‘something’. Nothing can be this perfect. Well, somewhere between 75-80% ‘something’ happened. My heartstrings were in knots and I kept the tissues handy for a few chapters. There were a couple of surprises along the way, events from Nolan's past that were really surprising to learn, and the heartbreaking actions of Nolan that really shocked the heck out of me. With the love he has for Alexa, that one heartbreaking decision really floored me and affected me. But knowing the demons living in his heart, I empathized with him and just wanted to console him. But we see again, that a true love like theirs, can really set the demons in your mind, and your heart, free. Giving You Forever was the perfect combination sweet and sexy. P.S. This is the second book I have read recently that made me wish my hubby called me 'doll'. I am sure he has a nickname for me, but I bet it ain't that sweet :)

Now, excuse me...I am off to Amazon to buy the rest of The Forever Series!

Nolan and Alexa are so perfect for each other!!! So perfect, it’s a little nauseating. Do any of you have a husband that treats you like a princess and kisses the ground you walk on…every moment of your life?? If you do, lock his ass in a room before someone tries to steal him.

Giving you Forever is the continuation of Nolan and Alexa’s story. I had to go back and review because it had been so long since I had read the beginning of their story.

They are now happily engaged and I mean HAPPY! There were a few instances where they weren’t but that was few and far between. And they were over it so quick, you hardly realized they fought. I kept thinking with all they had going on in their lives, it was going to fall apart… and it sorta did, but didn’t. Hmmmm….got ya thinking now!

I guess I shouldn’t complain about them being all mushy and happy, because the sex is WOW!! They had no problem with makeup sex…or actually, sex anytime. Ashley certainly turned up the heat for this one. I have read this whole series, so far, and they have gotten steamier and steamier with each book. That makes this dirty book whore happy ;)

“Sometimes I wonder how this blonde bombshell is mine, but of course it isn’t something I’m going to question. She’s mine, and that’s all that I care about. “

As I said above, Nolan is a great guy and treats Alexa like a princess, but he has a lot of skeletons in his closet that I was not expecting. I don’t know what I thought would happen, but it certainly wasn’t what actually happened.

*ARC received from the author for an honest review*
“My world is a big black cloud, ruining the lives of the people I love most.”

I got a little teary eyed when he talked of his past and how he blames himself for the things that happened. This poor guy actually thought Alexa was better off without him. NO WAY!! They were meant for each other and so good for one another. Even though they were too damn mushy sometimes, I still enjoyed how they kept each other calm and supported. That’s what a relationship should be about. I never once thought I wasn’t going to get my HEA with these two. It was obvious they could get through anything they were handed and they did :)

If you are looking for hot sex, a small amount of drama, and a whole lot of love between two people who are meant to be together, this is the book for you. But you should start from the beginning and read the 3 previous books.

This is a great story about a seemingly perfect couple. Sometimes they seemed so perfect I kind of wanted to throw up… and I don’t mean that in a bad way. I read about so many couples that struggle with every single part of their relationship that it was nice to have a happy couple with minimal problems. They were so happy I actually wondered what could possibly happen to make the book interesting… but then, life happens.

This isn’t the story about a rich man and a sweet little girl who fall hopelessly in love, it was more real than that. Alexa and Nolan are at the point where most books end. They are happily engaged to be married and are supposed to have their happily ever after. That’s what I loved about this story. It takes “happily ever after” and throws real life into the mix. Responsibility, work, unexpected events, and people from the past, all things that are part of everyday life, come into the picture and threaten Alexa and Nolan’s happily ever after. It turns out that this perfect couple isn’t as perfect as I first thought and it made it so much more real.

But one thing the author does amazingly well is POV. The story is told through the alternating POVs of Alexa and Nolan and even if the POV wasn’t noted at the beginning of the chapter, I would have had no problem differentiating between the two characters. This is something that I find authors often have a problem with. But this author did an amazing job of really creating the character, bringing each one to life and giving each his/her own voice. This is most notable in the sex. There is sex. A LOT of sex. But Nolan has a vulgar, male voice when describing the sexual events, while Alexa has her own separate, demure voice that is entirely like her character.

Overall, this was a great read that pulled me in. While the genre is considered erotica due to the sexual nature, it’s not overly sexually driven. There is plenty of story to drive the book without the sex, although it’s an important aspect of the relationship. You’ll be happy to know that the story itself could stand on its own. But it is definitely a Mature Adult read. No kiddies here!

I didn't know what I was expecting when I was given this book to read in exchange for my honest review.

I give lots of credits to people who have an awesome creative and imaginative writing mind cause I don't have one. I just love to read!

I have a pretty open mind when I read. I love sex, who doesn't, right? But when the first 10 chapters have freaking hard core mind blowing sex in every chapter, it kinda ruin it for me. I'm talking about the main character Nolan, can't go one sec without having a hard on. He has a hard on just thinking about his fiancé. I know this is fiction but for crying out loud, get real. I really had a hard time finishing the book. I keep wondering when it's going to get interesting, not that sex's not interesting but you can only read so much about someone's sex life. But since I promised I would read and provide a review, I sucked it up and continue whether I like it or not.

Though not soon enough for me, the plot did started to stir halfway through the book. There's actually something worth finishing the book for.

Nolan and Alexa, the two main characters in the book met each other when Alexa was a freshman in college. It was love at first sight. A year later, they were engaged.

Move forward three years, now living together and planning their wedding. Due to Alexa's busy school schedule and Nolan opening his own gym, they both don't have time to deal with the wedding so Alexa decided hiring a wedding planner is in their best interest. The owner of Simple Elegance (Wedding Planner), Meg, decided to handle this by herself after hearing Nolan's name. Kinda odd I thought but that's where the climax of the story is I came to find out later. I really don't want to give away too much of the story but I promise if you do decide to read this book, stick with it. I love the twist to the story at the end. Just in case anyone is dying to know, there is a happy ending. The moral of the story is never hold onto the past, learn to forgive, especially oneself. If you don't, nothing good will come out of it. The unconditional love that Nolan has for Alexa was amazing. I wish everyone has a Nolan in their life.

Rating:3.5/5.

Since i read about Alexa and Nolan in "Planning On Forever" i admit that i was excited to read more about them.Yes,after i read that book i was a little dissapointed because i thought that everything happened too fast, but now after reading "Giving you forever" i can say that it was pretty good.
I won't write much because i'm not really sure what to write.

Reading about how Alexa and Nolan were trying to prepare the perfect wedding was interesting, but i guess there had to happen some bad things that could ruin that.I hated those moments because they were really hard and i didn't like that.

Alexa was the same sweet and beautiful girl who fell in love. She was happy and that's what really mattered after all.But what if being happy wasn't enough? What if there was missing something?Between trying to prepare everything for the wedding and school,Alexa is having a hard time dealing with everything without Nolan.

Nolan-sexy ,charming and completely in love with Alexa, does everything he can to be there for Alexa, but between his job and everything else,he has other things on his mind-things that won't let him live without guilt.
But once again Alexa manages to make him see that the present is more important than the past and that he had to forgive himself.

I liked their relationship-how they acted when they were together. It was fun, romantic and sweet,i admit that there were a few moments when everything was a little too intense and too much for my taste.Something common and something that happens in every single book i like.Yikes!
Heck,i have to admit that i kind of fell in love with Nolan.Despite everything he had on his mind, the way he took care of Alexa? That was incredible. And i'm not lying.
Everything-from the way the met in the first book and how they ended up here was good. They were perfect together. And i'm glad that everything turned out to be okay.

After being together for a year, Nolan Pratt and Alexa Arnold are engaged. 3 Years later, the wedding is being planned, Nolan is opening his own gym, Alexa is still in school, and everything seems perfect…for a while anyway. Nolan starts spending more and more time away from home and Alexa feels she is being left behind to care for all of the wedding planning herself. Nolan has a past that he fears will send Alexa running for the hills. When it catches up to him, can their love survive? Can Alexa prove to Nolan that he is exactly what she deserves, that he is worthy of her love?

This book starts out with a bang (quite literally) and does’t stop throughout the entire story…it is definitely NOT lacking in hot, steamy sex, but it isn’t over done. Nolan is the sweetest boyfriend a girl could ask for…almost too sweet at some points, but also fun with a vulgar mouth (especially in public!). At times, Alexa came across as whiny to me, she has this super sweet guy who bends over backwards to make her happy, yet she gets hurt and questions their relationship when he doesn’t devote every second of his life to her. She needs to realize it’s time to grow up, opening a new business would take up anybody’s time and she can’t realistically expect him to be sitting at home waiting for her all of the time. Sometimes I wanted Nolan to tell her exactly that – GROW UP! – but being the sweet guy that he is, he does everything he can to make her happy.

I give this story 3.5 stars because even though it is a really sweet love story that I enjoyed, it almost seemed too easy at times. Alexa acted like a pouty kid sometimes, not a 22-year-old adult, and when Nolan’s past catches up with them, the resolution seemed too easy and rushed through. They actually do have some real life struggles to get through, and all in all, it was an easy, light read that brought tears to my eyes, and I loved the author’s writing style and the dual POVs

I am mixed emotions on this book. This is the 4th book in the Forever Series. I have read this first book in the series "Planning on Forever" which had a storyline that revolved around Alexa, our female lead in this book. But this book was so different that the other book and, from what I understand, the rest of the series. This is the first book in the series that would be considered erotica... with that... It was just that, filled with lots of hot steamy sex but I felt it lacked a real storyline. I loved Planning on Forever... it was a nice sweet story that I really enjoyed but with this, I felt the author tried to put in too much sex. Did I just say that?? Yes I did...

So the story starts out with Alexa still in college and Nolan working at a gym trying hard to open his own. Alexa is now going to be planning their wedding and with that we get a little surprise from Nolan's past. The wedding planner is someone from his past and he is beyond livid when he finds out who it is. With his past being confronted with his future, we do learn more about his story. I would say that was the one part I did like and enjoy. We learned about his parents and their tragic passing and how it unraveled and he almost destroyed his own life in the years that followed before he met Alexa. But take this part out of the story and I couldn't really give you much anything else. It was a good easy read but unfortunately for me there wasn't much substance for it.

I do give kudos to Ashley for writing a hot story... that is where I will give her points. The sex scenes are hot and steamy and there are lots of them! I just wish we learned more about the characters besides them being sex addicts! I would give this book a 3 star but with the hot sex give it another ½ for a total rating of 3.5 stars.
