Always Consequences

Rate this book
All Cassie wanted was a memorable birthday party. Not to find herself in the middle of a war between countries.

Now she is struggling to stay alive and protect those very same people who she wanted to show a good time. She's fighting an inner battle and trying to remember: bad guys can't be good guys ... no matter how good they are with their hands.

The men who are tired of the President invading their countries, decide to use a group of civilians as an example. They are now showing the President what happens when you don’t listen. They are tired of talking.

There are always consequences to your actions.

At first it started out as a large birthday party in the woods.

Now it’s turned into a fight for her life ... and her body.

Cassie got what she wanted:
An occasion which will go down in the books and remembered forever.

But things aren't always as they seem. ...

I'm not sure what to think of this book. While the story line was interesting enough to keep me reading the whole way through. The red flags of Stockholm Syndrome, violence, and the main character had the worst self image imaginable, left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The ending was a bit disappointing because I simply do not know for sure what happen to certain characters. It seemed rushed and cut off just as the book was just getting good. Perhaps a sequel is in the making? Just my opinion...

I loved this book..the storyline kept me from wanting to put it down. It had action and suspense to make a great read. You will love this read and I can't wait for more books to read. I will read Dragons Dawn soon and can't wait to see what it has in store for me.

I enjoyed the book for the most part. It kept me reading, not wanting to put it down. But...it just left you hanging, not knowing, guessing as to what happened to other people in the story. I guess I just needed a little more closure. In all, a very good read!
