Lovely little book that both seems to capture a story/moment and to resist such a frame. My favorite piece was "Lake Sunday," partly for the lineation: that final dropped, low line could be overly dramatic but here is just seems ineveitable. "Horse Anatomy" is also an interesting poem that investigates both science and common language. Thanks for this one, Kelly.

Personal and beautiful collection. I loved the cover and the back and every page in between. Wonderful imagery and emotion.

Gorgeous chapbook. The poems are heartfelt and a great example of how lyrical poetry can move and jump, but still impact the reader. Recommended.
