I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads.

Before I get into my review, I want to say that there were some good ideas that I learned from reading this book. However, it took me awhile to get through the book. There was too much repetitiveness for my taste. It seemed like the author did not think that the reader was understanding what he was trying to say and therefore stated the same idea two or three times, but in different ways. That being said, I will definitely try to introduce some of these techniques to my everyday life with a goal to increase my discipline habits.

Thank you for the opportunity to read this book!

I definitely think the author should have entitled the book "Self-Discipline" rather than just Discipline as I had a totally different expectation for this book. I found this book to have very great and basic ideas for understanding the premise of Self-Discipline but did not provide it in a format that I felt I could use this book as a resource for trying to tackle my own goals. In the format it is currently written in, I found it too basic and too repetitive with paragraphs of information repeating subject matter over and over again. It reads more like an informational pamphlet rather than a book you would recommend as a resource to self-discipline.
