I LOVED the ending to this trilogy! So heartbreaking and so uplifting at the same time, lots of action, and a few twists thrown in. Great dystopian trilogy!

A bit of warning, THE EVE is the third and final book in the Eden Trilogy. Slight spoilers may be ahead if you haven't read the other books. And if you haven't read them, shame on you. Get to it!!

After Eve finds out that she is the one and only person or thing that can save the 0.12% left of the human race, she goes on a mission with the help of Dr. Evans, West, Avian, and Bill to go back to where it all started: NovaTor Biotics. This facility is not only where Eve was saved and turned into a hybrid, it's also where the apocalypse of the human race started. Nobody is thrilled to be going but it's imperative that they find the tools and codes necessary to take out the billions of Bane, once and for all.

Eve was once again fantastic. She finally has an absolute sense of purpose. She knows that she's the key to everything and it gives her such a sense of strength and determination. She finally knows exactly who she is supposed to be with and the emotional and physical drama that happened between her, West, and Avian is over. Her and Avian's relationship was lovely and I loved the tender moments they shared with each other when shit wasn't hitting the fan. She also is no longer struggling with her emotions and feelings. I almost forget that she was this crazy and awesome human-TorBane hybrid.

The plot was exactly what I love about this series: thrilling, intense, scary, and full of twists and turns that I didn't see coming. It's nonstop action and kept me glued to the "pages." On their journey, Eve had a sense of dread that everything was going too easy and that something bad was bound to happen. I hated when she mentioned this because then I started to get uneasy too.

One thing that Taylor knows how to do is surprise the crap out of us and leave us hanging onto her every word to know what is going to happen and how it's going to end. I was never expecting the ending that she wrote. It was happy (which I didn't expect) and then the next page I start bawling my eyes out. I literally cried for the last 20% of the book. This ending felt complete, purposeful, and despite tearing me apart emotionally, it felt right. And then the last thing I ever thought to happen happened!

If you haven't read this series, I strongly urge you to! Yes, the first book is filled with Eve's emotional struggles between two people she thinks she loves. But as Eve's story progresses, she comes into her own, learns how to be more human, and how to differentiate between love and friendship. THE EVE was exactly the ending to Eve's story that was needed. It was exactly the ending to everyone's story in New Eden that was needed. It sewed up every loose end, gave each character we came to love an ending best fit for them, and it completely concluded Eve's transformation from a lost girl with no sense of who she was or why she was here to a strong, capable, brave, and loved girl who knows what it means to have a family. Taylor knows how to conclude a trilogy and did it perfectly.

I received an ebook copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!

Eve has found salvation. But all is not as it seems, danger is lurking right around the corner, Eve is the key to it all, but can she do it, or will it all prove too much?

Eve must decide between Avian and West. When death comes-a-calling, she has to make a decision, but who will it be?

Much preferred this over the other two in the series, as I felt there was more life/feeling coming off of the pages. I wish I could of given it 4 or 5 stars...
But I can't, there were too many annoying flaws in the storyline.
For example how the occasional bane managed to attack her...
but this shouldn't have occurred as she would of been giving out 'don't touch me' brain waves, which would of repelled them.
Overall, if you can manage to give the plot a blind eye, I definitely recommend.

Written well, and is fairly interesting for the most part. However, there are lots of plot holes, which are really, really, annoying.

You know that book that was so good that you don't want anyone else to read it, because it was like, yours and only yours? That's how I feel with The Eve.
The Eve is going on my Top Five Favorite Books. I really enjoyed Eve finally become "human" and start trusting Avian with her feelings.
This was also a very "High-Stakes" book. Like, if Eve and her team didn't succeed, the world would basically end. There were so many things that could go wrong, and I really liked this one because, for the most part, nothing did go wrong. Sure there were plot twists, but it wasn't like the author decided that Lady Luck seriously had a grudge against the characters. Not very many books do that, and it was refreshing to see the characters catch a break for once, especially Eve.
I didn't realize how attached I was to the characters until the end. Keary Taylor did a very good job in making me slowly fall in love with the characters. Like Bill. I loved the mystery surrounding him and enjoyed the fact that we could keep it a mystery.

Here i am again writing about one of my favorite series, but this time i hate admiting that i write about the last book in The Eden trilogy series.

I wish this wasn't the end because the story was too good to end and i'm sad.The fact that it had a happy ending makes me want to dance and that's something good, right?
Well, let's just say that after everything that happened in the first books i expected something bad and ugly to happen. And in a way that happened.

There were so many things that happened.Between Eve finding out that she could save the world and finding out about her sister,i couldn't wait to read more about how she and the scientists could stop the Banes. That sounded really interested, until i got to read that part and my heart almost stoped.Cause it was bad.And i almost cried.Too emotional .But i guess it had to happen, right?Well,i'm trying to recover after that.

So..There is a chance to stop every single Bane and Eve knows that she could do that.I loved her for that. She was willing to sacrifice herself for everyone ,even if she shouldn't have to.But that had to happen in order for everyone to survive.I'm not saying that i'm okay with the part about sacrifice..I'm not, because it wasn't fair for her,but i guess that was the only chance.

I loved the fact that she was strong,a leader(without knowing or accepting),a surviver and of course a woman who loved with all her heart .She was capable of doing everything to help the ones who she loved and who loved her.And she did so many things for those people, especially for Avian. She may hated West a little, but in the end she accepted the fact that he hided everything from her because he was wrong when he thought she was her sister,Eve One.

And here is the part where i almost fell out of my chair when i found out that Eve One was alive..Good God.This happened to me twice..And now again?Yikes. But the decision Eve made? That was even better.
I should have guessed that something huge was going to happen after they decided to go to NovaTor Biotics..But i never expected this.

And Creed?I'm so happy she survived. She was so little and fragile, but i suppose that she came in the right place at the right moment, because without her Avian wouldn't have been okay after that horrible moment.
Too many details?Ops.I'm sorry.I'll try in the next sentences to write less details..

Once again the book was full of action and ups and downs. But what dystopian book is without those things? In all of them you will find action and ups and downs.Well, not all of them are bad and not all of them are good. But some are in between, making the story look more interesting and making you wish some things never happend.Geez.I'm not really sure why i always end up writing "but",maybe because i keep finding something to write about and let's just say that i have a lot to write about this book.
The action wasn't simple at all and i loved how Keary wrote everything.Nothing was simple.A few scenes were complicated,a few were too intense.
The characters were amazing and strong, full of live and prepared to fight for their world. And that's what i liked the most. The fact that they weren't backing down. That they still had hope that one day everything was going to be okay.

I am happy to admit that i loved the story from the beginning and even more i loved Eve.She's not the only characters who made her way in my heart.Avian,West,Gabriel ,Royce and even Vee-those are the names i will always remember and smile because i really enjoyed reading about those characters.About they struggled to fight every day and their desire to survive.Cause in the end what really matters is that Eve did it .In the end The Bane lost the fight againts the world, against Eve.

And i think i'm going to cry right now..Why did it had to end?

It was hard for me to read the last chapters, when i thought that the book will have a bad end.My eyes were filled with tears but i really hoped that something will change. That Eve will find a way to come back to Avian and the people who loved her.And she did it.And i almost jumped up and down because i was sooo happy.

This was the end of an amazing story about fighting and surving.About human beings trying to get their world back and their struggle to stay together and fight against their enemies.About love and hatred.About desire to win and the need to do something good .About waiting for something good to happen. And about sacrifice. But in the end this book was about :hope for a better future.

This had everything I could have wished for in an Eden finale. Absolutely everything!

It started right where The Human left off, with Dr. Evans explaining his plan to save the world to Eve. Then Eve, Dr. Evans, Avian, West, and Bill, head off to the NovaTor headquarters with three goals in mind. And they accomplish all three goals. When they head back to LA, pretty much all the characters get everything they have ever wanted, and then they save the world.

Although there were a few chapters there where we were tricked into thinking something had gone wrong.

I love how this book gave us several chapters once it was over, to see how everyone chose to live their lives after. I really love what became of Creed, the inclusion of Tristan and Lin, Royce, Tom, everything! I am so, so grateful that this series exists. It is definitely my #1 favourite post-apoc series (not dystopian). I love that it has so much action, I love the world and the science behind the TorBane, I love the characters, I love that Eve's relationship with Avian is steady and eternal and her relationship with West is so complicated and evolving. But most of all I love the HEA! Thank you Keary Taylor for expanding on Eden! I would like to own them in paperback.

Wow! I have loved this story from the very first book. The Eve was a perfect, impactful and unforgettable ending to what has been a phenomenal series. It's all been leading up to this moment, and the choices made in this book.

The characters were as perfectly drawn and exciting as ever, especially Eve. This is a character you can believe in, sympathize with, and love. She's mesmerizing in her strength and self-sufficiency, her power, and how self-sacrificing she is. Aidan and West are amazing as well, both worthy love interests for her. And yes, the triangle is finally resolved in the book, and the right man got the right woman.

The science behind the idea of the Bane is smart and kind of scary, because I could actually see it happening one day. The descriptions of them are eerie and raise the hair on my arms. Then the pacing of the book was just perfect. This is definitely not a book where you want to miss a single word. It moves and it moves fast and steady.

The shocking ending just about made my heart stop. I did NOT see that coming in a million years. I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I'll have to shut up there. But I'll just say that Eve's absolute devotion to her people, her willingness to sacrifice herself again and again is one of the things that makes this series amazing. If you haven't read it, get it!! You won't be disappointed.

Overall-

The third book in the Eden Trilogy, Eve, was by far one of my favorite books. I was uncertain at first, as to whether I would like this one, given that it was the final book, and final books are notorious for letting me down (Divergent and Delirium), but Keary Taylor did not fall prey to those traps!

The beginning of the book was a bit tough for me, it was somewhat slow, in the way that I wasn't sure where the story was really going, and there was quite a bit of explanation that was rather confusing. But overall this story, and final piece to Eve's journey was amazing. Every piece of the story was fulfilled, with no loose ends. There was finality, and with the finality, I was pleased. I was so happy with the ending, and not because it was "and they lived happily ever after" but because it was raw, and fit in with the entire story line.

Each part of the story had a purpose, as usual, but at the end of this one, without additional questions, all the pieces came together to make an amazing ending!!!

The author also managed to continue great world building. Torbane was so vividly described, I could truly imagine myself there, with Eve and the crew. As a reader you look to escape, and Ms. Taylor certainly provided that element to me during this fantastic read! I absolutely loved this ending and am so happy with how things turned out. This is by far one of the best endings of a series that I have EVER read. Well done, well done.

For the most part, a great ending to the trilogy. However, I felt that the actual ending of the book 1) wasn't very well written comparatively and 2) was totally hokey and unbelievable. I know no one wants to disappoint their fans, but this ending felt like an afterthought. After so many things in the previous story were so well done, it just surprised me that the actual ending of the book was so disappointing.

Lots more excitement than both the first and second books. There were multiple interesting plot twits, but I predicted most of them before they happened (maybe I just read too much haha). It was still fun to see the story unfold. I was a bit frustrated that the author seemed to progress the plot in a way that favored action over logic. For example, Eve seems to constantly forget that she has some very special "talents", so instead of using those unique talents for the easy (and seemingly obvious) solution, she takes the hard way. I suppose some people want that action in their books, but personally I prefer a well laid out story over unnecessary fight scenes and drama.

The few romantic scenes are a bit cringe-y, but again, that's probably just me.

Overall, great series. Great conclusion. I would recommend this to friends (and I have, haha).

I have LOVED this series. The final book in the series continued to the high standard set in the previous two books. The story continues to centre around Eve, but has strong secondary characters and a solid story line.

Good story (as was the trilogy in general), but the omitted words and spelling errors were quite annoying and affected my enjoyment. Also misusing "were" for "where" and "your" for "you're" occurred enough times to be noticed.

This trilogy is fantastic, I often reread it when I'm in a reading slump. It has become a sort of comfort read for me. The characters are so well written and the story draws you in from the very start. I am always sad that it is over when I get to the end.

Fantastic Post-apocalyptic Novels in Series

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AS ONE OF THE BEST POST-APOCALYPTIC SERIES TO DATE

Taylor has written one the Best post-apocalyptic trilogies I have read. This, the third novel, ties together all those different storylines and all those subplots in an enjoyable conclusion. I would have liked to read more about this imaginative world. I think the hints of romance between different characters actually makes the story much more realistic than the usual post-apocalyptic novel. The trilogy allows better character development, IMHO, because there is plenty of space for development when spread over three good books. I look forward to reading more from Keary Taylor.
