After seeing the Ninjago movie for his birthday, Neo has shown much interest in learning more about the series. He was happy to explore a little more about these LEGO ninja (apparently that is the plural) and how they battled the evil Lord Garmadon. When Lord Garmadon broke into the museum and activated an ancient beast, the ninja were also subject to the powers of a most powerful weapon. Knowing how to battle the Grundle, but too weak to act, the ninja must rely on one of their own, absent from the museum, to bring them luck and an antidote. These ninja will do whatever they can to neutralse Lord Garmadon and the Grundle before Ninjago is lost! Neo liked the book and hopes that we can find more to read together. He also wants to watch the show and fill in any cracks the movie left him.

Another fun-filled romp from season 2 of Ninjago. Garmadon wakes a ninja-hunting monster, the ninja all get turned into kids, the boys visit a comic shop, and by the end ... spoiler! Let's just say Lloyd gets a lot closer to being the 'real' Green Ninja. Highly recommended.

Dad bought this one for Tom. Lord Garmadon's son is Lloyd, who has somehow joined the ninja (we seem to have skipped that story). Also involves magic that turns the ninja into children.
