His first Kindle Book "How to Make Money Blogging: How I Replaced My Day-Job With My Blog" is an Amazon #1 Best seller.
This book isn't a waste of time: You can read it in one sitting. It took me about 40 minutes tops, I love how concise he is. No fluff- PERFECT FOR MY TASTE.
For those dabbling into the world of blogging or for the absolute, “coming at this subject cold” person who knows nothing about blogging, this book is a great start. It gives you enough information to know the basics to get you started in the right path and to know whether or not you want to pursue this passion further and whether it'll be a viable option for you. It also gives you a great understanding of how the blogging society works, since many people don't seem to understand it or see it as a viable option for work. Just don’t expect some magic answer that’ll get you rich quick and have you writing your notice for your day job within a week! It's a long and hard process.
This book is well researched and written. The author did a very good job of explaining how to begin blogging on your own. He tells what he did, what he should have done, and what he would do differently, or not, now that he has experience. He gives a list of hosting companies he has used, along with their prices, and his experience with them. And for those looking to make money from their blog, he even tells you how, along with names and links to put you on track.
I wish I’d had this to read when I first started blogging. It would have been so much easier on me. There’s tons of information and reference in this book, making it priceless. Even with what I know, I’m glad I have this on my bookshelf to refer to when needed now
No hype just straight to the point a beginner guide for blogging.
I really like when a writer skip all the hype and just tell it like is. I received more information reading this short ebook or guide than reading an ebook that last for every. I was very impressed with what the Arthur says to use for your blog instead of trying to make a quick sale for himself. I felt like the person behind this ebook is genuine and really want to help people with their first blog. This reading is also good for a blog that needs more traffic.
For the length (very short) and the price (free), I got a lot more than I expected. Straight to the point and often list-like, it'll probably set you off the research rabbit hole. A great first primer, though some more technical terms should have been explained.
As you can see from the title, the book is about starting a blog; but there are a lot better content out there available.
I think that from rating everyone know what do I think about this book.
It’s waste of time, because you’ll get much more, and better information just watching coupe of those YouTube videos that last for a 2-3 hours when it comes how to create a blog.
Also, you’ll find on different kind of blogs much more useful information, also for free.
One thing that I have to add is that, I did get this book for free, and I hope that it would stay for free.
I've considered dabbling in the world of blogging so I picked up this book. It gives quite a bit of good advice/technical tips for newbies, and also for people who may have been doing this for quite a while. Recommended for anyone interested in blogging either for a living or just a hobby.
The content wasn't overwhelming and I didn't walk away discouraged.
For years friends and family have said many many times- Cj, you should write this stuff down. While I have not officially published my first blog post, I have been looking into the idea, since I am now unable to work. I have made many long posts and notes on Facebook as well as documented my thoughts and feelings regarding the human condition and how we approach our relationships. How we waste time and sometimes end them over root causes that were so simple and clear, yet because the answer wasn't the polite or most popular approach to relationship maintenance they threw their supposed best friend away and are left dazed trying to remember who was the bigger jerk.
I've got some pretty strong opinions on these things and am known for being the go to resident arm chair psychiatrist.
Why? First and foremost- I genuinely love people. I love their messy hearts and minds. And probably why people always wanna ask Cj is because they know, I will be honest, I won't pick a side or hold it against them if they don't take my advise and I won't pull any punches.
Yet, when I began looking into blogging for passion and profit I found article after article saying my niche was too saturated. I spent 2 weeks moping in bed asking God if I'd read my answer from him wrong? Was I just wishfully ego driven or did he really wake me up two mornings after I hit my knees in prayer for direction.
Thanks for not being another person who blew my candle out and providing an easy to follow practical guide. I look forward to deep diving into the links provided. Hope to meet you in the blogging world Mr Lotich!
A real piece of work in this field. In the beginning you seem to be getting useless tips (for people who know a thing or two about blogging but useful for those who have no clue what they're stepping into): Get a domain, some hosting, install Wordpress, and login to Wordpress.
And then the rest was fairly good. Comparing the different pathways you could take to blogging, their costs/benefits.
Aside from the promo codes overly-sprinkled, the introduction I got to CPM (Cost per thousand) was nice and the websites were not bad. The monetization ideas for your blog was great and the links towards the end was even better and even better than that was the visualization of his income from his blog in the first months he had worked and that just reflects that blogging is not a "get-rich-quick-without-hassle-scheme", it takes dedication
I would consider this more of a well written article on the fundamentals of blogging. Tools, tips, etc. If I am to ever consider blogging, I will definitely come back to some of the points made here as a reference. This book can probably be finished in under an hour. It might not be what is expected, but it is concise, well written advice. My main criticism is not knowing how relevant some of the resources he mentions are now. I could be wrong, but I feel like a guide like this needs to be constantly revised to keep up with the changes in online platforms. Even in the five years from the time this was written, a lot can change. Again, it is a great place to start your research about blogging but ultimately I may end up referring back to more up to date resources if I ever take blogging to the next level.
Highly recommended to those who have no idea about blogging. Best beginners guide.
I have already different books on blogging and already published my blog online using Blogger. So if you are some who already have experience with blogging then you can skip this one. And then you must read about Content Marketing and How to reach an audience through Marketing. Because you already know a lot about Blogs. Read it if you have:- 1. An idea and want to start your Blog. 2. No idea about blogging and how to start. 3. No knowledge about blogging Tools and Tricks. Thanks for reading it is an honest review and don't waste your time reading stuff which isn't helpful for moderate bloggers.
With only 53 pages that includes the title pages and TOC and containing a lot of whitespace, this book is extremely short. That is not a problem if the text is dense with valuable data, that is not the case here. I have been writing online for over twenty years and have done well at it. This book is for beginners, there are many links to online tools with recommendations to use or avoid. Some of the advice is very sound, such as the recommendation that you first hone your skills by writing insightful and meaningful comments about what others have written. Nevertheless, the content in this book is best read online through observation, contributions and reading tips written by other bloggers. The book is easily read and has value but can be done without.
I was looking for books on blogging to educate myself and also on behalf of the research and this was a good help for me. I have learned a lot and wondered how much of time I would have taken to experience everything written here without the help of the book. Bob Lotich is an experienced full-time blogger and speaks to the point. There was no blabbering but clear information. If I wasn't rereading the important contents I would have been able to finish the book within an hour. It was that simple. I am thankful for the author who wrote this book and highly recommends for anyone who needs a background knowledge on earning money by making a blog.
I don’t usually read these kinds of books, but these books are like crack to me so of course, I decided to read How To Make Money. When I started I was immediately intrigued and fell in love with the time period. I am a HUGE fan of Bob and while this is obviously fiction it is set in a similar time, so I was hooked.
Making money with a blog is a slow process and involves either a) affiliate marketing/ads or b) marketing your own products, or c) a combination of those two. And of course the SEO know how to market the blog and get yourself out there so that the public masses know your blog exists.
Anyway, this ebook covers most of that, not exactly in detail, but it does give you enough information to get yourself started and trying strategies to find out what will work for you, plus a few tips and tricks the author has learned on their journey to being a full-time blogger.
This was a great, short book on how to make money blogging. As someone who is a stay at home dad, I've been thinking of moving my blog into the money making possibilities. Being that I don't know how to do that, I began researching the topic. There is a lot of great content out there and this little book is one of them. I'm excited to try some of Bob's suggestions along with many others I've been learning on this topic.
This book is just an amalgamation of basic Blog posts on how to blog. Nothing's explained in detail. Im a newbie trying to start a blog and nothing in this book helped or fascinated me. Please do not buy this book. You have much more interesting blog posts to read. Better read the blog Create and Go by ALex and Lauren https://createandgo.co/blog/ for all the essential blogging details with links to best resources.
I would definitely recommend this for those who are just getting started with blogging. I would even recommend for those on the intermediate level. Bob shares great tips and suggestions that include, web hosting, Ad Sense, traffic building, and content strategies. The reading is straight forward, easy, applicable, and relevant! I will be putting his tips and suggestions to good use! Thanks Bob!
This book covers in general how to blog and gives certain tips and tricks but doesn't goes in detail about anything. As a newbie blogger, I didn't find anything much helpful. I'll have to look up almost everything I read in this book. This maybe helpful to people who are already good at blogging but for someone who's just starting their blog, I think there are better sources where you can learn how to blog.

We appreciate your support and the trust that you’ve put in us. Today, we’ll be showing you how to start making passive income blogging. The concept of making money from a blog can be a little overwhelming if you are new to it. Start Blogging and Make Passive Income
This is a straightforward introduction to the world of blogging. It contains insight into how to start a blog, and how to grow the blog into something that can generate cash. It can be read in one sitting, and I can see this being a good reference to come back to if someone starts a blog and needs some insight from time-to-time.
I've maintained a blog for over a year now but haven't been consistent in writing my posts for it. After reading this book I have renewed interest in writing posts frequently and following Mr. Lotich 's tips and advice! This book will help you kick start your blog!!!
It's a nice one-stop book that you can read in one sitting. Reading it will enable you to get a quick idea about blogging, how to earn from it, and pro tips to do to increase your income. I highly recommend this to aspiring bloggers. Most of all, it even provides the necessary links and websites for a starting blogger.
Well, I found some details in this book to be helpful, It is not very thorough. I also found the authors attitude, a little passive aggressive toward anything he didn’t like Perhaps that was away to draw readers toward the links he did like. There are some basic good ideas in here so I will leave it with a three.
This is a very basic outline explaining some basic things about monetizing blogs. He has some shameless plugs for his email list and some affiliate marketing links.
Whether you are just starting out or have a blog that is not earning to its potential, you will find some great actionable tips in this book. I have read his main pf blog for years and this writer practices what he preaches. Thanks!
This book was very well written but it didn't have much information that I personally would find helpful there were just a few key points that I felt as a new blogger would help me but I'm going to have to continue my search
