An excellent if brief outline of some central hermeneutical (interpretive) keys for understanding the book of Revelation. Many of these involve the Old Testament roots of Revelation (e.g., the OT sanctuary and its services) and its central theme as a 'revelation of Jesus Christ'. The authors help to clarify much confusion arising from applying an erroneous linear or chronological lens to Revelation, when in fact, the 'heart' of the book, representing the 'middle' of a 'chiasm', unlocks the broader, more universal symbolism intended by John, the author.
