My Mate, Let Me Go

Rate this book
"Look at me!" There was a Command in this one, an Alpha Command I could not ignore. My head snapped up and my eyes met his. I knew something big was going to happen as I finally made the dreaded eye contact with my worst enemy.

And my world stopped.

My inner Wolf jumped out of her daze then and began to howl triumphantly, pouring every ounce of joy she had into her howl. I just stood there, stock-still, unable to comprehend what was happening until my Wolf started forcefully pushing one concept into my "Mate! OUR MATE!" She crowed repeatedly, as I stared blindly at the Alpha in front of me, blinking in disbelief.

This couldn't be happening. It couldn't be him...but deep down inside, I knew otherwise.

He was my Mate.

He was beautiful, perfect, a god-like creature that was unrivaled. I knew my Wolf was encouraging these thoughts but I had to agree. I had never seen anything so wonderful. Every nerve in my body was on fire and my heart was beating rapidly. And yet, amidst these happy thoughts that surfaced whenever a wolf found their mate, the discordant notes of my distrust and hatred for Gabriel remained, marring the experience.

Different paranormal romance

Story has several tropes that I enjoy. Seemingly cold alpahole with hidden heart, hints of possible rejection and fated mates. These tropes have been woven in with angels, vampires and mystery. Angsty Story, but not overdone. The only thing I deducted a star for was the ending. There is still some unanswered questions on what the future holds but did have somewhat of happy ending.

Another long werewolf story…

Seriously grumpy alpha discovers his mate. But he isn’t into the idea at all. His pack is the mean and nasty one. I really didn’t care for this guy for most of the book. Anyway, vampires end up being the scourge they usually can be in a werewolf story. And the alpha’s mother is in there somehow, albeit long-lost. There’s a lot going on but much of it was sort of boring.

Not my cup of tea…

My Mate, Let Me Go

This is a long book, but you'll wish it was longer. There are some places that could use a little editing
, where the wrong word was used. That always slows my reading a bit, but there's nothing major. It's 4 am and I just finished. Couldn't go to sleep because I was so entranced by the story. This is the apitamy of a great werewolf romance. Give it a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

it’s more an action book

Not really due me relatively well written and deals with vampires and such like which isn’t my thing. The write up should have mentioned it because I wouldn’t have started it

Enjoyable

What's not to love. Wolves, vampires and angels. And to top it off only a couple of spelling errors. All up making this an enjoyable book.

Im indifferent to this book. It was super long, well written different story. I really never liked Gabriel. He constantly was pushing her away, didn’t really do anything nice except being a mate. 😐
