This book was recommended by my youngest daughter. This is perfect for the upper elementary school kids that wish to know more about the supernatural.

It focuses on some very common and famous ghost stories, such as the Myrtles Plantation, The Flying Dutchman, and Marie Laveau. It gives just enough to explain the stories and what has happened since.

I totally recommend this for you aspiring ghosthunter!

This one was pretty good. I liked the stories. They weren't too long or too short. (Take that Goldilocks) Great for getting the full impression and not enough to keep you from sleeping...mostly. Written well with a few good pics throughout.

A handful of short--usually only a couple of pages each--stories offer plenty of chills here. Readers will shiver while reading about the antics of the Bell Witch of Tennessee, the talking doll of Gene Otto, and Chloe who haunts the Myrtles Plantation in Louisiana. There are also tales of a haunted lighthouse in Maine, a hotel in San Diego, and a photograph record of a ghost sighting in an English country home. Readers will want to know much more about these and the other possible evidence of ghosts after reading these brief accounts.

Good collection of tales for younger readers. Interesting but nothing too scary. The stories are creepy but made quite tame so that children will enjoy them.
