Good and annoying
When I say annoying I'm talking about Anna Grix. Yes it is probably a more innocent time, and yes, it's possible young women were more naive than today, but oh boy could she be annoying. She is supposed to be in her mind twenties, but she acts like someone much younger, trying to score points of the men in her life. It's not an attractive trait and if most of the men in her life had any sense they would just walk away. But gluttons for punishment that they are, they stick around for more. It does make for entertaining reading though.

War Time in 1940s Great Britain
This was an excellent series ! Murder, mayhem, and spies galore! More than that though are some very complex characters, wartime lovers, and fami!y loyalty. The kind of family loyalty that extends to and draws in community, old friends, and new. The writer gives us a bird's eye view of what it was like to live in war time England for the regular ordinary people and children too, and much of it was devastating to say the least. This is so good it deserves to be read and savored like the delicious series it is!

Fun read!
This is a fun series to read. Sort of keeps you guessing but not a cliff hanger. I enjoyed each book very much. They seem to get better with each book, at least in my opinion. I recommend the series.

The Complete Lipton St Faith Norfolk Mysteries
I enjoyed reading these mysteries. The Vicar's daughter was always curious about something. The more she looked, the more trouble she got into. It was fascinating to see how far she went for answers. Great mysteries.

An enthralling read
A very good trilogy which transported me back into the Britain of early WW2. The characters w!ere well constructed and their interactions seemed pretty authentic. An unusual and entertaining book.
