Dark Tales for Dark Nights, the first book by collaborative Canadian authors Pierre C Arsenault and Angella Jacob, is sure to impress all kinds of readers with its imaginative and creative genius.

Each story sucked me in with its normalcy and made me jump with its sudden twist into darkness. With home cooked meals, aggressive teenage brothers and nervous porcupines are just the books spine tingling, the pages are filled with so much more.

I would love to have these authors challenge themselves with staying in the real realm though for some reason I think they feel quite comfortable where they are and will have a great fan base because of that.

Thanks for reading,

The book was too short. I wanted the stories to be more fleshed out and to really feel the horror, but for a collection of short stories it was worth the cost.

Give it a try if you love horror but don't have much time to read. Or if you are going camping and can't make scary stuff up on your own.

This could have been great. The story lines were interesting but the writing and editing was just not doing it for me. Quick read though if you’re looking for that.
