The book Navy SEALs: A Complete History is an exceptionally good book that gives a good understanding of not only the SEALs but the military in training. With interviews with actual SEALs this book is a really good primary source for the SEALs. Lot of pictures that helps you understand what things were like for the SEALs. Has a large timeline from WWII to the present. The interviews give you first hand experience with life as a SEAL. Gives a good understanding of how the world isn’t perfect and that war happens. Shows you things that you didn’t know were real. A very highly recommended book. I would rate it a 8.5 out of 10. This book hits a grand slam in the book park.

After the Army book I finished I had to get back to my Navy roots. Kevin Dockery is a good military author. I liked the way this book was laid out. The author sets up the a time frame with his narrative of what is taking place. Then you have the writings from the actual Seals that were serving then. They talk a lot about the training that takes place, love for the teams and the jobs the performed. They are probably the most humble warriors you will ever hear from. The book is almost a thousand pages but it is an exciting and easy read.
