According to many sites, people with Barron's all claimed that it was the best Biology review book.
I also believe that Barrons give you the best scope. My honor Biology was considered extremely heavy in material and fairly difficult- but it covered almost every material rumored to be on SAT biology. When I took the Princeton Review, it was more wordy than the Barrons edition, and yet with little information. When I took the Barrons, it was compacted into neat paragraphs. The practices tests from many other editions also proved to be much more easier after I reviewed Barrons.

Good content. A bit too hard at times. Like the practice questions but not the practice test.

My problem is that I'm a GCE student which basically means that by the time I'm in 11th grade, I need to pick subjects relative to my field of study. Even though, I started out with sciences, I changed my subject to Economics, Business, Accounting later on. This means that I have no new information on Biology since 10th grade.

The main issue I have this book is that it just keeps throwing terms at you without explaining them in a complete and understandable manner. Whereas some portions of this book do not explain some concepts properly at all.

The pros to this book is that it's to the point. It is obviously not a textbook or a substitute to two years worth of study but it provides a clear cut idea as to what is asked and expected of you.

Overall, it's a good book. Even for conditions like mine, I believe that this book can be of immense help and a source of guidance.

Good supplement for biology subject test but again I had the same problem with Barrons. Too many trivial details and sub-topics which are not asked on the sat. However the tests were helpful enough. Princeton review is better.

A very helpful book, not very long but concentrated on the necessary material in order to do well on the test. This is the best book for the SAT Subject Test in Biology.

Great, straightforward review on all main biology topics. The practice tests are also very high quality.
