About the author

Lacey Silks

90 books754 followers
USA Today Bestselling Author Lacey Silks writes seat-gripping romantic suspense with heat and spice. She’s married to most of her characters and tortures her husband with quirky book roles. Lacey’s two kids and her dog Kygo fill her time with homework questions and sweet licks all over her face (the dog not the kids).

When she’s not writing seat-gripping and heart-throbbing stories, Lacey enjoys camping and skiing with her family. She’s an early bird by nature and drinks coffee instead of water, because that’s how her busy billionaire heroes do it.

Lacey’s flawed and relatable characters fill the pages with laughter, snark and tears. She judges men by the size of their feet, loves sexy lingerie, and can’t live without her “boost juice”: coffee.

This was very short, but steamy. Not much time to care why Claire was there or why the guy was cheating on his wife. Technically, Claire was cheating as well. Not much time to care much about anything. But it was steamy. Very short interlude.

My Thoughts

I'm a fan of Ms Silks from the 'Layers Trilogy' so i figured that i'd have to find something else of hers to read. This novella is a bit of a tease since it's literally just one chapter but i suppose in the longer form when we have the whole series, it'll be ok.

We get a very quick glimpse into an affair in motion - Ms. Jones (Mistress Claire i'm guessing) has a standing lunch time appointment with Mr Franklin on Tuesdays and i'm gathering it's pretty fulfilling. on this one occasion however, his wife is there just immediately prior to their appointment, and that adds some tension of course.

Where it'll go, who knows - what makes things complicated - we'll only find out as the series continues i'd assume. If you have 10 minutes - i'd suggest you enter their sexy world.

HOT!! I tend to read books I like fast.. Mistress Claire is filled with
hot steamy sexy and leaves nothing to the imaginations, I chose a 5 star rating for this book because this was
once again one that I just could not put down I find Lacey Silks books hard to stop reading once I start. They are
very well written and filled with everything a girl could want to read in a book or what I call eroctic romance, oh Mistress Claire went all over the orgasm map and back again. This was a thrilling read in more ways than one. Well worth your time and download!!

Once you read one book by Lacey Silks you cannot help yourself but search for more of her books and while searching for her books you will find some of them free on either Amazon or Smashwords (either or). This was a VERY short story but I couldn’t resist it just like I couldn’t resist the other stories I have read by Lacey.

This book was OK. I guess it's a freebie as part of a series about cheating. I don't know enough about these characters to sympathize with their plight....so, I didn't find them all that likable...some hot sex, though!

Was a short sample of the writers writing. Basically it's an office sex scene. There are more to the series. Have not decided if I would buy more yet. About 18 pgs.

This is a strange short story which is not realy a story just sex and not much else but I think the others in the series need to be read and a tale may unfold.
