Amazing Quinoa: Easy Recipes the Whole Family Will Love!

Rate this book
How amazing is that! I have finally found a super-food that is not only good for your health but also delicious! And the best part is that it is probably the easiest food to cook and can be incorporated into practically any recipe from breakfast to dessert.

It is no wonder that quinoa is becoming more and more popular. It is the only plant in the world that has all nine amino acids, making it a complete protein. It is full of vitamins and antioxidants, and has prebiotic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Quinoa is especially good for people who suffer from various conditions due to gluten allergy and intolerance as it is completely gluten-free. Not only does it lack gluten but it doesn't even belong to the same plant family as wheat, oats, barley, or rye.

I am offering you my recipes for this tiny, gluten-free seed and hope you and your family will enjoy them.

Enjoyed this

I loved the inspiration and the work the author has put into developing her recipes. So glad they don’t all contain bananas since I have an allergy to them. Most smoothies have frozen bananas which give smoothies a great texture that is hard, if not impossible to duplicate. Thanks for writing this book!

Simply love

There are three things to love here:

1. Its all dead-easy.

2. The recipes serve family sized meals

3. With almost no effort, they can all be made vegetarian or even vegan.

Bottom line, its a must-have.

My husband has celiac disease and needs a gluten-free diet. So we eat quinoa quite a bit. I look forward to exploring this book for new quinoa recipes.

This is a good little starter cookbook if you are just beginning to use quinoa. Some good basic information about the grain, and a number of good, simple recipes. Lots of salads, some soups, a number of breakfast dishes. No pictures, but all in all a good little basic book.

Some of the recipes are really good and simple. They are delicious and hopefully will help bridge the gap with the newly acquired member of the family who is a vegetarian.
