Boy the cover through e for a loop. I was advised to read this book by a friend and I'm glad she recommended it. That Marteen/Oliver were crazy. The things Marteen did to try to get her husband back were CRAZY but I was truly pissed at how she treated her child. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next.

Alright now! Fast paced for sure. Dang, give us a lil more background on Ava and Cam getting together. Geesh, it went to some flirting to some straight serious ish. Anyways, this book has a few leading roles and just a whole lot of coincidences linking em together. Cam, a doc from the streets couldn't wait to have nurse, Ava who was going through some mess of her own. From beat downs from her baby daddy to a fast daughter, she was going through a lot. But it was nothing compared to all she faced from Marteen, Cam's soon to be ex wife with ties to some Mafia connects. She wants Cam back and will steal, ..kill and destroy to get him..even if it means killing her own child. Then throw into this story Ava's friend Lauren who is taking a walk on the hoe stroll to get money for her dad and Brooke who's just into popping pills. There are soooo many coincidences and links between the leads til it seems like it makes sense but yet was so not practical. I mean one or two sure but dangggg every damn body connected in some way. Though the ending was left open to be continued, it left you somewhat satisfied.

I gave it a 4.5 for grammatical issues (a comma to separate some thoughts in sentences wouldn't hurt) and some simple spelling errors. Other than that,I thoroughly enjoyed this read..waiting on part two.

This story was action packed and juicy enough to warrant 5 stars but I took one off for the lazy editing! There were times when the transition words simply were omitted which caused me to reread a sentence just to understand what author should have written. That's the bad news. The good news is that the story itself was a fast paced story within a story within a story without convolution.

Marteen LeBlanc was sort of like the chick from "A Thin Line"; well put together physically but deeply psychotic. Dollar and Lauren are oddly well paired. Cameron was the nice but naive doctor who swept Ava off her feet and into danger due to his psychotic soon to be ex. The group's involvement with one another is half the story. Let's just go with the theory of 6 degrees of separation is alive in this tale.

That Damn Marteen...

I didn't like this book in the beginning. It has a lot of grammatical errors. As I kept reading, it got interesting. I hate that a good man such as Cameron got involved with an evil, vindictive woman such as Marteen. I knew she was a liar and very unstable. Marteen has done so much evil in her life that she doesn't think she has done anything wrong. She always plays the victim. She has met her match though, literally.

Entertaining plot driven novel. I would have given it 4 stars if not for the multiple grammatical errors.

Great read

Loved it! The characters were well written and I can't wait to read the newest one. They both were free software that made it even better. Keep up the good work!

The other Woman and the wife

It was a bit confusing at times but I got the plot the writing was aiming for. It just had to much going on. But the drama was on point
