L. Chapman was born in and continues to live in North Yorkshire, United Kingdom. She has spent most of her life helping others as a health care assistant, and was, at one time, a DJ for a special needs club. Blending her love of helping others and her love of children, L dreams to one day own and operate a childcare nursery that will help mainstream special needs children with others.
In the rare times that L. is not working to help others or maniacally writing, she enjoys making a mess of things while creating beautifully detailed greeting cards. She spends time relaxing with family, friends, and good books. L. loves to travel and has been to many places in the United Kingdom; her favorite places all involve the ocean. She hopes to one day share a kiss with her happily-ever-after in the romantic shadow of the Eiffel Tower. Should she ever get over her fear of flying, those kisses may be shared in the shadows of the Egyptian Pyramids.
Ever the fussy eater, L. has never once tasted peanut butter, and she despises coffee. If you should feel the need to bribe her, it is suggested that you bring chocolate, as that is one of her know weaknesses.

*Advance Copy provided by the author in exchange for my honest review*

DNF @ 45%:

Oh boy...this is the hardest review I've ever had to write. I literally have a stomach ache over it, but this book was just no bueno. I was driving the people around me insane as I continued to make comments and complain about the content...even my status updates are whiny. (For the record, I'm not a complainer at all) I just could not get into this book.

I am so sorry to the author, and I really wanted to like it. It just wasn't even close to believable for a contemporary piece. It was too fast forward and I just could not wrap my head around the "fairytale" of an HEA like this.

Maybe I'm off base and I look forward to reading reviews from others as it's released but this book was just not one I could sit through, I'm sorry.

**Update**

Today, I finished Trust. Determined to not be a quitter (and I felt horrible that I did not give it at least a 50% chance), I have a little more to add.

First, it deserves another star; so I adjusted. It did get a little better, and I can see how the author wanted to the story to play out. I loved Annabelle in this story (but again, it felt like the timeline was off...they were too cozy too fast) and Megan & Mark became a little more believable...but when Rich comes in the picture, it just confused things and really hasn't gone anywhere. Maybe that is saved for a later story...

Second, L. Chapman, I just want to say; you are a very gracious and nice person. No doubt you have a heart of gold (your bio is a true test of your character--I love that you were a DJ). ;-). I do hope to read more from you and I commend on your courage for putting yourself out there, laid bare, for the world to see.

Third, please make sure you give Trust a try. Just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean someone else won't love it. I look forward to hearing others thoughts!

I was very lucky to beta read this book for L.Chapman.

I found it to be a very heart warming & gentle love story about Megan & Mark.

All the characters work really well together & you feel the true friendship between Megan & her friend Jenny. You also really want things to go well for Megan & Mark.

L.Chapman has a very easy to read writing style, she effortlessly draws you into the scenes, without going overboard on the descriptions.

This is well worth reading. Just the sort of book to curl up in front of the fire with, soft & gentle and very lovely.

3.5 stars - ARC received for honest review.

The premise of this story and the actual story were quite good, but the writing left a little to be desired.

It jumped from character, and the lack of abbreviation started to drive me a little nuts - everyone sounded so very formal, and at times like they were talking to strangers, not a couple falling in love.

The lack of abbreviation and all the I Wills instead of I'll might not worry other readers, but it did start to grind on me.

L Chapman shows promise, just needs a little more work with beta readers and editors to work out the kinks.

Not saying don't read it, it may just be me that these things irritate!

Would you trust men if they all screwed you over? Well, neither does Megan. She's in London visiting her friend for her wedding, alone and pregnant. She's dragged out for drinks and, as one does meets the hot, sexy CEO Mark. Mar wants her, and is honestly relentless in his pursuit of her. Megan just begins to let him into his heart when everything crashes around her again...

This novel really drew me in, while at points I was annoyed with how quickly Mark seemed to be in love with Megan, I find that with lots of novels so I was able to move past that. The story flows beautifully and really makes you hungry for more... I couldn't wait to pick up the next book

Firstly I would like to thank the author for letting me read her book. She is truly one amazing lady and has a very big heart!!! I have enjoyed the book very much and it just shows if we all believe there will be a happy ending. Megan surely got hers...

Megan is with Jenny in the city to shop for her big day. While they are there, Jenny decides they need to go out for a drink. After finishing up they walk to the bar called Bar 3000. It looks very smart and classy. Walking in they find that the bar is busier than what it looks from the outside, mostly men as there is a football match on TV.

Scanning the bar Megan's eye catches a group of 3 men standing further down the bar. One of the men catches her eye. Scared that he has catched her looking at him she notices his eyes are sparkly and he has an amazing smile that reaches his eyes. His hair is brown, short and neatly trimmed, but long enough to play with. Thinking to herself where did that thought come from she giggles to herself.

After asking Jenny what she wants to drink and ordering her eye catches the man again, but this time he is walking towards them. He comes to a stop beside them and says "Good evening ladies" where Jenny replies with a simple hi and a introduction. He introduces himself as Mark. Megan is very shy and struggling to find her voice. Eventually she says hi and makes introduction. They go sit over at the table after Jenny decides to leave to call her fiancé. Mark is very intrigued by Megan and wants to know as much as he can about her. They talk for a while and after a while Jenny comes back. They make small talk and Megan decides to excuse herself. She is getting tired and needs to rest. Mark doesn't want her to go yet and asks her to dance. They enter the stage and dance where the whole world disappears, it only feels like its the two of them. Finishing Mark walks Megan out and never leaving her hand says goodbye and is very sure of seeing her again.

Arriving at the hotel Megan reruns the whole evening through her head. She cant understand why Mark is so interested. He is very handsome and can have any girl he wants, why would he choose her. She decides after that she just have to keep her distance. To not get to emotionally involved. She's been hurt to bad before and wont be able to handle a next time. Mark manages to see Megan again for a few times and after a while he finds that he has developed feelings for her. Trying her best Megan cant deny that she has feelings for Mark to, but still afraid of getting hurt. And they will only be here for a few more days then she has to leave and Mark stays behind.

He is very attentive, taking care of her and making sure bump is healthy and happy. Which in turn gives him allot of credit in Megan's book. Megan decides to go lookup Mark and finds that he is a very well known rich man. Why didn't he tell her this? He takes Megan out for dinner one night and she feels very awkward as the server is checking Mark out and he is talking to her. He sees that there is something wrong with Megan and so he asks her what's wrong. She doesn't like to feel like a 3rd wheel. He assures her he only has eyes for her.

He takes Megan to meet his nanny which she ask why, cause she is a nobody, but to Mark she is very special. Megan finds that Annabel is a very friendly lady and she likes her a lot.

The time has come for Megan to go home, but Mark assures her she will see him again soon. He goes and visit every weekend and she enjoys his company a lot. After a fundraise he had to hold she goes on the internet and look at the photos. It is very upsetting as there is a few photos of Mark and a lady together. Megan recognises the lady, but cant place where she met her. After a while she remembers its the same lady from the restaurant. She doesn't want to speak to Mark anymore or see him, but he doesn't take no for a answer and so is at her home to speak to her. Jenny and her fiancé arrives and Rich grabs Mark and threatens him. Which nor she or Jenny understands why. Rich goes to the kitchen and Megan follows to assure him everything is alright, but he disagrees and out of the blue kisses her smack on the lips. Confused she asks him what was that for, where he replies sorry and storm out. Very confused she walks out and tells Jenny what took place in the kitchen and tells Jenny to go after him they need to talk. Megan goes away with mark to his cabin for the weekend and enjoys it very much. He explained to her where the girl comes from, but Megan doesn't like it at all.

Coming to the end Megan finally goes into labour and nobody is available. She doesn't want Jenny to call Mark cause he has a very important meeting, but when the nurse walks into her room she says that there is a Mr Reed outside for her. Megan cant believe his there but lets him stay during the birth and he even gets to cut the cord of the baby. There and then Megan accepts her feelings for Mark and tells him she loves him. She has a wonderful man and a beautiful daughter and she loves them both, and same from Mark who loves his 2 girls....

Hope you all enjoy the book as much as I did and if you haven't read it yet make sure to add it to your TBR list on Goodreads. You can also get it on Amazon and Smashwords.

I have been NOT so patiently waiting for this book for a while and I am more than happy to say that I loved it. The story was beautifully written and for me was a stress free read that I finished in one sitting.

Here's the thing...... I love the bad boys, I really do..... BUT there is something about a GOOD guy that really strikes a cord with me. I guess it's the fact that I myself have a good guy and I can totally relate to the whole love at first sight theme of this story because that was exactly how it happened in real life for me.

Any way, Mark Reed is exactly that... A Good Guy. He is sweet, patient, considerate, giving, understanding and let's not forget sexy in an understated way. As an extremely successful businessman Mark knows what he wants and what he wants is the shy, nervous, and self doubting Megan Madden.

Ok, so I started chapter one and was quite surprised by Megan's situation..... I so wasn't expecting that. When I saw the beautiful book trailer and saw the name Lucy, I immediately thought 'other woman', it was not what expected at all.

Megan has been hurt pretty badly in her recent past and has managed to deal with everything and move forward with the help of her best friend Jenny. Their trip to London to finalize Jenny's wedding things throws Megan and Mark together and while Megan is very cautious they began a relationship that hovers between friends and a couple. The way Mark treats Megan is really sweet and lovely, he completely accepts her situation and embraces it, not a lot of men would do that, but he sees something special in Megan and does what he needs to do.

There is no groping, steamy sex scenes or really heavy drama in this book, which may disappoint some but honestly I found this story a breath of fresh air. It is a pure and beautiful story of love and romance.

I loved the fact that while based in London it is written as an English person would speak, meaning proper and without slang, (my in-laws are English so I get this).

I thought Annabelle was a great character and wished we saw more of her, she had a deep love for Mark having raised him since he was a baby and she seemed to be a very wise woman. My favorite line from her was....
"everything happens for a reason. You must believe in it and trust that it will work out."
I really hope we see more of Annabelle as the series continues.

I really would have liked to have had the whole situation with Rich and the kiss explained, why exactly did he do it???

And as for Karen.... Well any sane women would have reacted the same way as Megan did but I'm glad that Mark explained things and it showed growth on Megan's part when she listened and they worked things out, obviously her trust in him has grown. Although I'm wondering if this will be the last we hear from Karen.

When we get to the end of the book Mark and Megan confess their love for each other and then little Lucy arrives. It was the sweetest moment for Megan that any mother can relate to....
"I hold her against my breast as she begins to cry and it is the sweetest sound I have ever heard. She is here, no longer a 'Bump' but a baby. She is real, she is mine and floods of tears steam done my face".
Absolutely beautiful!!!

The final chapter is from Mark's POV and he comes to a life changing realization, and while there is no cliffhanger, I can't wait for the next book to see where there live's are about to go.

With believable and lovable characters and a beautiful story, I congratulate L.Chapman for a great debut novel.

"I want someone I can trust; someone who wants me for me, and no other."

Right at the beginning of this book I had a "whoa, what!?" kind of moment due to a "little" detail related to Megan, the lead female character. I won't say what it is since it's not mentioned in the synopsis, but I'll try my best to go around it. That said, it is something that in my opinion made the concept behind this book to be a refreshingly different one.

Running wedding errands in London with her best friend, one night, they decided to go to a club. There, Megan met Mark. They started talking and getting to know each other right away. That same night, Mark started texting her .... a bit too much in my opinion. I mean, they had just met and some of the things he'd say in those texts seemed... I don't know... stalkerish? I had mixed feelings regarding him at that point.

As the story progresses, so does their "relationship." Megan kept making it clear that they were nothing more than "just friends." She had to keep him at bay because of that "little detail" I can't explain because it would be a spoiler. Let's just say, she had "something" to protect and not to mention, she had trust issues where men were concerned.

This however, did not stop Mark from making it abundantly clear that he wasn't going anywhere. More into the book, I started to actually like Mark's romantic side... yes, he was a bit intense right off the bat, but like I said, throughout the book, I found him to be very attentive to Megan's "special" needs --> (doesn't have anything to do with sex). In fact, they never have sex (just wanna throw that out there.. tee hee)
"I can't imagine my life without you."

"You're more important to me than anything."

"Fate brought us together."

As I started to like Mark more and more, I started to dislike Megan more and more. I get some of the things she did, or rather, didn't do... but most of the time I kind of wanted to smack some sense into her.

Regarding the ending... it was actually beautiful, and I remember literally saying "finally!!!" during a specific moment. There isn't a cliffhanger which was a plus since lately I had read like 3 books back to back with cliffhangers!
Overall, I think this book has a lot of potential to be truly great. Maybe it just needs more character and plot development, or maybe it was just me.
But, like I said at the beginning, the idea behind the story line was refreshingly different and a huge plus for me.
"...everything happens for a reason. You must believe in it and trust that it will work out."

What a Beautiful Story!!

First of all I need to tell you that I AM a hopeless romantic and I love a Happy Ever After!

Megan and Jenny have been friends for years and as close as sisters! They tell each other everything and know what the other one wants/needs. At the start of the book, Megan finds out that her boyfriend, John, has been cheating on her with his wife, who she didn’t know about! She leaves him and then finds out that she is pregnant and doesn’t tell him!

The story is about how Megan meets a gorgeous man, Mark, but she can’t let him into her heart for the fear that he will break her trust and, therefore, break her heart. It is about how they both cope with that and how he tries to gain her trust in him!

It is a beautiful story and I think that we have all dreamt of a man coming into our lives who treats us the way that Mark treats Megan. I fell in love with him as soon as he came onto our page; however, I’m still a bit weary about him as I have read so many books where these men turn into complete pigs! Putting that aside, if Megan ever gets fed up with Mark, then I would happily look after him!

During the book you get a good understanding of Megan and the people around her and how much she is loved and you can see that she is a huge romantic and wants the whole “knight on a white charger” to come along, but she is so wrapped up in having her heart broken that she cannot see what is in front of her!

Mark’s character is really different to the male hero’s of other romance stories as he is very in tune with Megan’s feelings and he embraces the whole pregnancy “thing”, which, I think will win Megan over – but I will have to wait until the sequel to find out!

L Chapman’s style of writing is easy to read and I especially liked the chapter from Mark’s POV as I always like to see how both characters feel even if they don’t tell each other.

I am in anticipation and, I suppose, in some trepidation to read the next book as I’m wondering where L Chapman is going to take us with this series. I just hope that Mark doesn’t break Megan’s Trust or Heart! Saying that, however, I will pre-order the second book as soon as I can to read it as soon as its released!

Enjoy!

Trust is L. Chapman’s debut novel and I am looking forward to more from her in the future. I was impressed with her creative storyline and unique concepts. The overall theme of trust throughout this novel is apparent. It was intriguing to unravel this story and experience Megan’s journey.

The prologue had my interest piqued immediately. Throughout the novel I began to understand the meaning and importance. I felt this was very well done and added an element of surprise. The prologue also explains a lot about Megan’s character.

Megan Madden is a strong and independent woman but past experiences have stolen her confidence and ability to believe in a happily ever after. The novel begins at a heartbroken point of her life but slowly follows her through discovering happiness again. “Bump” has a huge influence on Megan’s ability to move forward and put life’s responsibilities into prospective. Even though readers don’t meet “Bump” until the end of the story, she plays a large role. Her involvement made me understand Megan and her decisions in more depth. I really felt like Megan is a woman many can relate to and will find realistic.

I absolutely LOVED that Megan and Mark met near the start of the story. I didn’t have to wait long to meet the delicious lead male which is always a plus. Mark definitely swoops in with his charm and handsome good looks. Megan can’t comprehend why he is interested in her and he works hard to prove his desire. Mark isn’t an extreme alpha male but definitely knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to speak his mind. I can understand why Megan found it difficult to resist him.

Mark is persistent and Megan’s resolve begins to crumble. They get the chance to spend several days getting to know each other. Sadly, her vacation comes to an end and Megan must return home. At the first sign of rejection, her insecurities come flooding back in and her walls lock back in place. Will Mark continue to prove himself or give up on this wounded beauty?

Guess you will have to read and find out. Trust is heartwarming and romantic... allows you to believe there are truly wonderful souls out there that belong together.

I was worried about writing this review. Trust is so different than what I usually read. At first I wasn’t sure I liked it. It wasn’t a “normal” romance novel. It almost felt like I was reading a fairy tale. I’m not sure if it’s the length, connection of the characters, or the speed of the plot, but everything about Trust is different.

I think what first threw me off was the prologue. It was flirty and sexy, light and fun. Then we get into the story and it’s not light at all. Megan is dealing with some serious issues. She can’t handle a quick, flirty relationship. So when Megan meets Mark in a bar, she’s flattered by his attention but knows it can go no further. At least that’s what she keeps telling herself.

Mark and Megan’s connection grows quickly. It almost felt like a case of “love-at-first-sight.” While this instant connection usually drives me crazy, it fit in this story. Megan was a poor girl in a terrible position and Mark was a prince waiting to sweep her off her feet. After I got over my preconceived notions of what a romance novella should be like, I was quickly pulled into their story.

One of the only problems I had was Rich. I didn’t understand his actions, and I didn’t feel like there was ever any closure. But, maybe we’ll see more from him in the next book in the series.

I thought the final chapter from Mark’s perspective was sweet. We get to hear what Megan is thinking throughout the book, but we only got to see Mark through Megan’s eyes. Being able hear Mark’s feelings only made the book that much more satisfying.

I’m still not entirely sure how I feel about Trust, but I’m glad I read it. If you’re looking for something different, something to fill you with hope, I recommend Trust. A sweet story you can read in an afternoon and it will leave a smile on your face.

I just want to say that this book was so refreshing to read. It was a book I couldn't put down. It was a breeze to get through and it was AWESOME. Loved it. I don't think that there is a a man out there that would take on the responsibility that Mark has taken on when he meets Megan. Now I could be wrong, but I would think a man would run in the opposite direction. The question is, is this man to good to be true. Can Megan trust him. She has been hurt in the past and she doesn't want that to happen again.

I liked Megan's and Jenny's characters because they would do anything for each other because of their close friendship. They are like sisters. Makes me wish I had a close friend like that. Megan is able to confide in Jenny about anything.

Jenny is about to get married and the two girls are visiting London shopping. They stop off at a bar to get a drink, when Megan see's three gentlemen at the other end of the bar. With those three men, on sticks out. Their eyes connect and she can't keep her eyes off of him. When the two meet, they have a nice chat and then Megan and Jenny leave. He was a little sneaky by getting her phone number off of her cell phone, while entering his numbers into her phone. I was thinking, STALKER.

I also like Mark's character because.....well, I really can't say because then it will spoil the story and I don't want any spoilers.

Megan is wondering is she going to find prince charming. Will she get her happily ever after. Read this story and find out. Its Awesome. You'll love it.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Let me start by saying that this story was actually a new adventure for me. Never before had I read a novel regarding a woman who was about to become a mother looking for love. Actually truth of the matter is Megan actually isn't looking for love. She is dealing with her best friend's wedding and her own upcoming child. This woman has a lot going on and somehow still maintains and stays strong. I loved that about her.

Megan is out shopping for a wedding dress with her best friend, Jenny, when they stop to have a drink. Like so many of us girls when we go out, she scopes the place and notices a very handsome man sitting with his friends and they make eye contact.

Mark is sweet and attentive and rather aggressive about getting to know Megan. She is a bit gun shy (as one would be in her situation), but Mark doesn't really allow her to duck him. He wants her immediately and from day one goes on a mission to prove it. I actually was both really turned on and off by that. His texts the first night freaked me out a bit, but he turned out to be so damn sweet you have no choice but love him.

Mark is genuinely kind and the birth of Megan's daughter is probably one of the most beautiful scenes in a book that I have ever read. I enjoyed the book and I will definitely give a mommy to be book another chance.

I give this 4 lipsticks!

This was a very short story but had so much going on in such a short time. Absolutely loved every part but ended to early leaving an ending that leaves you hanging.

Seeing this is going to be a series hopefully we get to delve more into the characters lives. Chapman began the book with a prologue of Megan's once perfect life with the man she loved. Then in chapter one brings us to the present and how Megan's life has drastically changed.

While in London with her best friend Jenny shopping, she meets a man that changes everything. Sexy, Rich, handsome Mark takes her breath away as she does the same for him. But Megan has too much hurt and walls built from her devastating past. Mark immediately wants to spend time with Megan but she knows she has too much baggage to try. But that damn sexy man is determined. He convinces her that he wants all of her but will start slow if that is what she wants.

"I close my eyes, so wanting to trust this beautiful man with my broken feelings."

Will sexy Mark be able to help break down her walls? Can Megan accept who Mark is and work through her insecurities? Damn I hope so because I want more from them.

"You don't have to hide Megan. Have a good look."

Just be prepared, Mark will make you want to drop your panties.

L. Chapman gives a Mark POV that just leaves you wanting so much more.

Awesome job! Can't wait for book 2!!!!!

A wonderful debut novel x

I have to say this and I'm very sorry, I have a pet peeve with not abbreviating! The constant use of I am, I will, he is, they are, it is, I have, etc etc page after page drives me insane. I find it interrupts the flow of a book. For example
"Thank you for my beautiful flowers THEY ARE beautiful." " YOU ARE very welcome, THEY ARE as beautiful are you are. "
" Hi Jenny, WE ARE here, IT IS amazing. "

This probably doesn't even bother most people, however this is my opinion.

Now that I've got that out of the way, I'll start my review :)

L. Chapman has an incredible writing ability. I felt connected to the characters from the very start, and for me that's a big thing!
Mark and Megan are two believable people and to those of you saying this sort of thing doesn't happen in real Life, you need to live more! Or just get carried away by their journey!
I LOVED this text msgs ;) super sweet.
I liked what Annabella brought to the story. I loved her relationship with Mark, so kind of him to buy her the house and puppy!
I think the whole part about Megan, Jenny and Rich was a little understated. Most girls would at least have a little bit of drama in that sort of situation!
The ending was nicely wrapped up. I wish Meagn, Mark and Lucy all the best x

This was reviewed as part of a blog tour and author feature event over on Lily Loves Indie, but here is a snippet of the review....

A romance, told from the perspective of Megan, a pregnant singleton who appears to be off men, that is until Mark shows up at the bar and in a very forward (and at times bordering on stalker-ish style) sweeps Megan off her feet, or so it would seem. And that is really all I can tell you without spoilers!

So I guess you want to know what I thought? Well, in a nutshell, it was rather enjoyable, even in aspects were a little hard for me to get into. As a newcomer to the romance genre (I'm looking for my own Mr Right so I'm canvassing book boyfriends to fill time!) I have to say, at times this was just a little too soppy for me, too perfect, that was until the twist about half way through, and then it got much more believable, but you get where I'm coming from. There was also the fact that this story is a bit of a slow starter. You do need to keep reading until about 50% of the way through before, and I promise you this, Chapman hooks you nice and strong and you can't put the book down.

Trust is a cute love story about a girl who has been cheated on and mislead in a previous relationship. She now faces being alone and pregnant with a baby due in a few short months. Much to her surprise, a night out with her best friend leads her to her Prince Charming. Mark seems too good to be true at first. Megan can't imagine why a man like him would possibly want to start a relationship with a pregnant woman. Mark won't take no for an answer and continues to see Megan after she heads home from her trip to the city. A misunderstanding causes tension between the couple and ends up putting Megan in the hospital. The book ends with a happy moment between Mark and Megan. Unfortunately we won't know if they get their happily ever after until we read the next book in the series, Veiled.

Overall, this was a cute love story. The book isn't very long and can be read in one sitting on a relaxing day if you read fast like I do. I think this story has the potential to go places and am interested to see where the next book takes me. There wasn't a lot of angst and it is a pretty straight-forward plot. If you like a sweet romance this is the book for you.

I fell in love with this story very fast. It is a heartwarming story about finding love at the most unexpected time in life.

Megan and her best friend Jenny are on a getaway in the city as Jenny is prepping the final things needed for her wedding. Megan doesn't ever want to go out and let her hair down, and after much persuasion Jenny convinces Megan to go to a local bar for a drink. As soon as Megan enters the bar she is looking around to see the vibe and she locks eyes with Mark. From this point on the book takes us into a fast paced romance where Megan needs to let go of the past and learn to Trust someone new while letting the walls down around her heart and finally let someone in who wants nothing more then to make her happy and feel loved.

You will learn in this book if Megan is ready to Trust someone new in her life and finally let herself fall in love.

So worth more than 5 Star's! I read this book in one sitting (yep my behind hurt I didn't move for like 4 hours) First book in the Believe Series by L Chapman.

Megan Madden- this woman is fantastic she has lost her faith in men after one walked all over her lied to her! she was pregnant and alone. Did this stop her? NO she got up cleaned herself off and enjoyed herself, days filled with helping her best friend with her wedding. One night in London all this changes though...... She meets a man named Mark!

Mark - Yep very swoon worthy, Romantic, Thinks of other before him, But will Megan let him in? he wants to know her he dont care that she is carrying an other man's baby!

An amazing roller coaster of emotions nail bitting but most of all beautiful story. I loved this book. The rest are already downloaded on to my kindle. I have and will recommend this Author and Book.

Review for trust written by L.chapman 5 stars

I didn't realize at first that this book was written in an English text. However it was very easy to follow.

Meghan is a broken woman just looking to spend a holiday with her best friend and her fiancé getting last Moment items for the wedding. Meghan isn't looking for a relationship she's been broken and now has a lot of baggage she's sure no man will want to deal with. That is until she meets mark while out at a bar with her best friend at first site she captures marks eye and he is very smitten with her. However a secret may be her breaking point for a relationship she doesn't believe she wants k the first place. Will mark win her over or will he prove to her that men can't be trusted with her heart.

Thank you Rebecca

This is L’s debut book, when I first read the description I was ready to read this book. Let me tell you I was not disappointed in this book at all. L is a very unique and talented author. Her writing style is so good. The storyline was very interesting and intriguing. Megan is left pregnant and alone.. One night out she meets Mark. He is so sweet, kind and sexy. Megan and Mark are so sweet together. I love their romance. Jenny is Megan’s best friend, and I can’t wait for Veiled.
This is a bittersweet. Tug at your heart romance. Some parts of the books I was like no way did that really just happen. It is a fast pace book that you can enjoy on any day of the week. I recommend this book/series

I loved the story!!
It's not that heavy and you can easy relate with it.

I love Mark!! So sweet and gentlemanly. At first, I was a bit suspicious on his motive on Megan but as I was almost done, I saw his real intention toward Megan. Megan on the other part, she's a bit guarded on letting Mark in her heart. She may become a bit jealous to how other women flirt with Mark, it may be normal and I love how the author made Megan's character realistic (that not all the time perfect).

I'm happy how the story ends and so excited what will happen with their love story next! (By the way, I love Mark's POV at the end!)

Trust is A Must READ novel. A real girly, girly book full of romance and affection. A wealthy entrepreneur who falls for Megan and bump (read it and all will be revealed). The author has managed to really capture the imagination with this publication. Well written to the point you feel drawn into the story. This is a book I would highly recommend to any reader who likes a really good story. No smut, just a really old book that I score 5/5. I was very lucky to get this book to read and do a review for this great author x

I liked Trust but it didn't wow me. It was a nice read and didn't take that long to read. The story was good and I wanted to keep reading it to see what would happen. I kind of had it figured out and just wanted to see if I was right. There wasn't really any twists or anything. So if you want a fast love story then this is perfect for you. Like I said I liked it and enjoyed reading it but there was no WOW factor.

What a cute little heart warming story.

The plot and storyline is simple and easy to read. Megan meets Mark while expecting her first child, this does not stop Mark, if anything he loves it.

Megan lacks self-confidence, not believing she's beautiful, she is sweet and enjoys living her in own little world with 'bump'.

I enjoyed this fast read and look forward to reading more of L. Chapman books

This was a nice gently love story between Megan and Mark.
Megan has a problem with trusting men and all Mark wants to do is get a lot closer.
Mark doesn't give up and carries on going after what he wants.
This ends of a happy note, although there is a book two due out.
Thank you for a nice, violent free read. Loved it. :-)

I hadn't realised how long ago this book was written as I have had it on my kindle for an age and pushed it up my reading list recently, I also didn't realise it was a debut novel until I read a few of the reviews whilst trying to decide what to say, so with that fact I'm keeping an open mind as for a debut novel this is a good start, nice idea for story, and includes a friendship bond which is always a plus point for me.
I hate to say but I didn't warm to Mark to the point I thought he was creepy and I'd have run a mile if it was me.. finding out what hotel she was staying at by ringing every hotel in the area looking for a Megan and Jenny !! no way !! plus a little unbelievable.. if a hotel gave that info away about me I'd be well p****ed off plus he didn't know surnames and as Jenny was there with Rich it could have been booked in his name.
narration and conversations felt a bit stilted for me with no shortened speech e.g. I am not I'm etc.. and formal e.g. I don't care for anything to drink...
also a couple of timeline issues that had me having to re read.
But as I said its a fairytale read and if that's your cup of tea then you may enjoy this. I would like to try some of this author's later work, but maybe not this series as I'm not sure how invested I'd be due to not particularly liking one of the main characters.
