I’ve been lucky enough to visit the Warner Brothers Studio Tour twice and this wonderful guide is a perfect reminder for every Harry Potter fan that visits the studios.

This book is a wonderful keepsake from a magical day with each part of the tour detailed in the exact same order that guests experience them too.

With plenty of pictures and facts lifted throughout, it really is a perfect keepsake.

I visited the tour last April and it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. If you plan to visit London you have to visit this tour. A few photos of my visit:

This is the official book one can buy in the shop at the Harry Potter studio in Leavesden near London. I thought it would make a great souvenir on top of the pictures I've taken.
By the way, my edition has this cover but is in hardcover (couldn't find it anywhere here).

As one might expect, the book takes one from room to room like one walks through the studio. We're starting in the Great Hall, then walk through different sets such as the Gryffindor common room and Dumbledore's office, on to and through the Forbidden Forest, before entering the creature workshop (where the animatronic is shown and explained), the outside sets, and get a look at the artwork (sketches and plans as well as paper models) and the room with the enormous model of Hogwarts castle.

The pictures also show some of the smaller details one can discover on the studio tour (the Horcruxes and some magical artifacts from the Room of Requirements).

It certainly is a great way to jog one's memory. No idea if it's as enjoyable to those who've never been.

This is an amazing souvenir for the actual tour. I went on my birthday and was allowed to open the doors of the Great Hall. It was the most amazing feeling ever. And this book will always remind me of that best birthday ever. The tour is amazing and of course, it's way better than in the book, but it's just a super fun book to read when you're craving a little dose of Harry Potter in your daily life :)

**I have the newer version of this book. Published in 2015 I believe.

I've actually visited the Warner Bros. Studio Tour twice now but it was only on my second visit that we paid extra to include the digital tour guide and a souvenir guide book. If you've never been before (or even if you have!) then the digital guide is well worth it as you can listen to in depth extra information at each section of the tour, watch video interviews with cast and crew members, see insider info on how they designed sets and also there's a whole gallery of extra photos to look through.

I also absolutely love this souvenir tour guide. I don't think it actually contains any information that I didn't already pick up from reading signs around the studio or listening to the audio guide and of course the pictures included are all things you've already seen for yourself and probably taken photos of too but there is just SO MUCH to see on the tour that it can be hard to take everything in. The book has loads of interesting facts that you may have missed during your visit and close up photos of some of the props that you can't get close to during the tour.

My second visit was years after the first so they'd added whole new sections like the Hogwarts Express, the Forbidden Forrest and Gringotts Wizarding Bank but all of the sets like Dumbledore's Office, The Burrow and Snape's Potion Room have so much detail that I spotted loads more this time around. I love that they've added so many interactive sections where staff members will teach you different wand movements or take photos of you magically calling up your broom just like you're taking part in a flying lesson.

What's great about this guide book is you can look at it years down the line and remember things you've completely forgotten. My visit was in September last year but rereading the guide book now, four months later, already brought back loads of memories and made me want to book another visit immediately.

The photos below are all ones I took myself during the tour but they'll show you the kinds of images you'll see in the guide book, or more importantly just a tiny fraction of what you'll experience if you decide to visit the studios for yourself. It really is an amazing experience for any Potterhead and this is the perfect souvenir to remember your visit by.

So it has already been quite a time since I visited the studios. April 2014 so it was time to reread this little book about everything I learned there especially after seeing the tour last February in my country.

Hogwarts will always be my home and I will always remember the feeling of entering the Leavesden studios and it felt like I belonged there. This book is not the same as taking that step inside but it gets very close.

This is awesome if you've been to the tour or not. I got it with my ticket from the tour, so I've read it after being there, but it's nice to see the props and sets again, and get a bit more information!

A great souvenir from our visit to The Making of Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London (Aylesbury, actually). Great pictures and fun facts. The tour itself had loads more, of course, but this is a good reminder.

Perfect companion book after visiting the studios in Leavesden. It has just the right amount of information and little extra details that you’ll miss during the tour, it has pictures of the different areas so it’s a great reminder of the visit, and it tells of certain tricks used for the movies.

This official guide through the Harry Potter sets in London is truely amazing.
I think it really gives someone who's never been at the sets a good view of what is there.
Of course, since I've read the Page to Screen book by Bob McCabe, this one is rather concise. But that's not bad, because I always like reading about Harry Potter. And one can only tell so much.
I do recomend this guide to anyone who wants to get a little intell about how all the films were made.
Some secrets do get revealed...

It has pictures and descriptions of the areas and many of the things that you’ll find in the studios including the recent additions, it does not contain a map of a guide to the tour, and still it’s a wonderful thing to have.

Everytime we visit the Harry Potter studios they are better and more magical! The new sets of Gringotts and the Herbology greenhouse are wonderful, and just like Hagrid I really really love the dragons :)

My cousin just got back from England where she and her friend visited the Warner Bros. Studio where there are two large warehouses crammed with authentic Harry Potter costumes, props, settings, the Great Hall, the Knight Bus, Kreacher's mask, Dumbledore's cloak, the Sorting Hat, you name it! My cousin took tonnes of pictures for me (I am still jealous since she isn't even a fan!) and even bought me this amazing guide which tells you all about the production of these props/costumes/scenes etc. and practically how they managed to make Harry Potter come alive on the big screen.

This is a greatly detailed guide with tonnes of high-resolution pictures and lots of information. I simply loved learning about all the different things that they did on the set. I have never really stopped to admire the sheer amount of work and effort taken in to making this best damn movie franchise it could be. They put in countless hours with the support of so many people and experts, its astounding! They made over 17,000 wands, 12,000 handmade books, 40,000 Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes products and it took them over 60 trial versions just to make the crystal goblet that Harry uses to fed Dumbledore the potion in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Overall, this is definitely a must read for fellow die-hard Potter fans. I would strongly recommend it or better still go there for yourself! I am simply dying to...

I think many of you know how much I love and contribute Harry Potter as my gateway to loving books. To be able to visit the Studio Tour was just a dream come true. Actually, London in general was a dream come true.

This souvenir guide is filled with beautiful pictures and fun tidbits. There are several sections, including, ‘Film Effects in the Great Hall’, ‘Gryffindor Boys’ Dormitory’, ‘Dumbledore’s Office’, and so much more! Seeing them in real life was amazing, and I’m just so happy to have a physical guide to reminisce on the wonderful time I had over and over again.

Due to the amount of set pictures and props throughout the read, it was very easy and quick. The Warner Brothers Studio Tour does a great job in helping readers more or less relive the studio tour experience. It brings such a smile to my face when I flip through the book.

The only improvement I would suggest is to make it even longer and include even more information about the process of filming and the people involved in bringing the books to life. 🙂

Overall, it was an amazing souvenir guidebook that I will definitely read again and cherish for years to come! I recommend this guide to anyone who love Harry Potter!
