Armageddon has come. Angels and demons have erupted onto Earth's surface, battling for domination. Alisha Grace witnesses this battle, and she, like so many others, expects the angels to win. It soon becomes apparent, however, that the demon forces have powers beyond belief as Gabriel's angelic forces lose Armageddon.
Rai is a fallen angel, leading the fight with his demon allies. Commander Krillion and Captain Zara are leaders in the Seraphim force, and although their armies have lost to Lucifer's demonic legions, they will not give up. But there is much more to this endgame battle than meets the eye. Even demons have history, and Rai will soon discover on which side he truly belongs.
In the meantime, Israfil, the angel of judgement day, receives a new vision. As hell covers the Earth in its dark genesis, Israfil senses the building of a new team that will fight the evil ones. A demon, a girl from Earth, warriors of the Seraphim and a being brought forth from Purgatory will fight on the same side-and only time will tell if they will be victorious, or if hope will be lost and darkness will rule the world for all eternity.
What a great tale of the battle of Good and Evil. Love the fantasy or believe of angels battle through Armageddon. I was surprised by this book and engulfed in its pages. Is there a book 2 in the series? Well done!
The Fallen absolutely pulled me in from the start, and I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Sean Bazaar creates such a dark, immersive world that I found myself totally hooked, flipping through chapter after chapter because I just needed to know what happened next.
What really stood out to me was the atmosphere—moody, tense, and full of this creeping sense of mystery that kept me invested the entire time. The pacing felt spot-on, with the story revealing just enough at the right moments. Every time I thought I had something figured out, Bazaar managed to twist things in a way that made the plot even more exciting.
The characters were another highlight for me. They’re complex and flawed in a way that makes them feel real, and I enjoyed watching their struggles and choices unfold. Nothing about them felt flat or predictable, which made the emotional beats hit even harder.
Overall, I genuinely loved reading The Fallen. It had everything I look for in a dark fantasy—great world-building, strong characters, gripping tension—and it left me eager to dive into the next book in the Dark Genesis series. If you’re into stories that pull you into their shadows and don’t let go, this one is definitely worth reading.
Sean Bazaar has spun a tale based on a belief almost as old as mankind its self.Telling it with fantastical perspective. Integrating myth, legend with great deal of imagination to come up with a cast of strong vibrant characters that make you feel their fear, pain, anger, and frustration. As the Seraphim, the angel army of the All Father fight through armageddon and lose. The plot moves swiftly and forcefully through several graphic battles between the seraphim and Lucifer's army of demons. Israfil his power is to invision judgement day has told of a team of six, a fallen angel Rai his brother Killion commander of the Fury legion, Valafor Rai's loyal and trusted demon friend, Kane the first being on earth banished to purgatory for his great uncontrolled strength, Zara a angel warrior and Alisha a human girl blessed by the All Father. In their hands and seventy wingless angels sits the hopes of mankind and the sanctity of heaven. I for one was mesmeirized and couldn't put the book down. It is full of pulsing energy that pounds through every page. I seriously need to know how we find salvation. We do don't we? The next book can't come fast enough. Bravo what a amazing first effort.
Although I don't usually read this type of story or the fantasy genre I absolutely loved it. I give it a five star review.
The story was amazingly written, the writer created amazing characters and has a terrific imagination. I could not put this book down once I started reading it. The idea of the book is very unique in itself but the way the writer created the scenes I could visualize what he was describing. This story is very graphic in the fighting scenes but it was necessary to capture the full impact. I thought the chapters that Alisha Grace (the human) describes what is going on around her gave me goosebumps ( what she described going on would give anyone goosebumps). The story then is being described through the eyes of the angels and demons. I obviously rooted for the angels but love the conflict and decisions made by the all-father and although the angels didn't always agree with his decisions, they made a oath to the all-father. I think that part is important in the story the conflict and their oaths. I loved the description of the demons, each being very unique and grotesque ( loved it) and was described in such a way I could visualize exactly what they looked like.
The characters are so well described I fell in love with them all ( angels of course) but if I had to pick a favorite or favorites I would pick Krillion and Rai and Alisha (of course ) I just want their happily ever afters and of course i cant forget Kane . I cannot wait to read the next in this series. I absolutely love this story and I highly recommend whether you like the fantasy genre or not , it's a great story.
This is a very different take on Armeggedon & I found that I liked it very much. Though it may be a bit hard to get into at first w/all the different names & such it's still pretty amazing! It's a book that will make you think & look at things differently for sure! This is pretty freaking amazing for a 1st time published author. Very well written & edited for sure! the Author has a way with words that makes this so amazing and riveting. You don't know what will happen next. In most books Good always Triumphs over Evil but in this book Good got served by evil. there are parts where you see Good winning don't get me wrong! You are never bored while reading The Fallen. I love the characters and how he makes them feel very real & human though they are not. There are Heroes that you fall in love w/& there are villians you love to hate! Sean makes you really wonder if there are really battles going on between the Angels & the demons over the control of Earth. He makes you feel as though You need to do as much good as you can so that you can give those Angels power to continue fighting for you! Amazing talent w/words & the way he allows you just enough details to imagine it all in your mind about what it would look like to see the army of darkness standing ready to go to battle w/the army of the light.this is a MUST READ! You won't be sorry if you like action, conflict, emotions, & more! I can't wait to read More from Sean Bazaar!
This was a book I wouldn't have picked for myself, it's just different from most books I have read. But let me tell you I was hooked Immediately from the start. It had been a awhile since I have read a book with Angels and Demons so it was a nice change for me. This book kept me at the edge of my seat, had a very hard time putting it down I had to keep reading to get to the end just so I knew what happen.
The battle of Haven and Hell has started and Haven is on the loosing end. ( Right, WTH!!!) The story changes view points often (that took some getting used to, most book I have read have only been one or two POV's) then once I got it I started to fall more in love with this book. Each character is soo well written, I felt like I was really there. Then I realized this is Bazaars 1st Novel. UMMM Really!!!! WOW I love getting on the 1st Novel train, just love watching a author grow.
On a low note for some people there will be a 2nd Novel, I know a lot of people will wait until a series is finish to read it because disliking cliffhangers. And its fine as long you and keep and eye on this series so you don't forget and miss out. I am very glad friend asked me to read this book, otherwise I would have pass on this epic battle of Good VS. Evil.
I usually have a number of authors i like and tend to stick to their books, i am very very fussy when it comes to the books i read, if my interest is not kept, or i am not kept intrigued, then i simply do not bother to finish the book!
This book kept me intrigued all the way through, which is an achievement in itself, but i am usually not a reader of hell and earth fantasy books, so even more of and achievement that this book has not only been finished in just a few days, but i also felt the need to write a review for it.
A truly great read, you will be hard pushed to put this book down, it is very contagious, and i too am looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Well done on a brilliant first book.
Amazing debut novel! This is a very refreshing paranormal read with a very unique view on the end of times woven with myths, legends and good vs. evil. With a fast paced plot and engaging characters, this book is a definite MUST READ. Full of imagination and an energy I could almost feel coming right off the pages, The Fallen pulls the reader right into the battle between good and evil. The battle scenes are beyond belief and definite blockbuster-worthy material. I could almost hear the sound effects :) Beautifully scripted and with fantastic prose, each element to this story is brimming with stunning depth and detail. I was very happy to learn that a second book will be coming out, and I can't wait!!
I have to say first....this is not my usual genre. And yet I wanted to read something that was out of my norm!! *****It blew me away***** It was a edge-of-your-seat, nail biter.
A war has begun between Good and Evil....who will survive and who will win? Armageddon is at our door! Angel or Beast? There are some amazingly epic and very bloody battles fought within this story as well.
When I started this story I couldn't put it down until I had finished it. It is definitely a re-read worthy book! (I love those kind) :-)
Cheers also to this author, as this is his debut. Can't wait for more!!
These are the kind of Seraphim I want to read about! I don’t know where to begin on this book without making my review too long! Bazaar did an amazing job, he is madly descriptive and all of his characters stick out. Sometimes in other books I find myself only really caring about one or two characters. In The Fallen I am looking forward to reading more on all of the major characters and even some of the smaller ones. I recommend this book to anyone who is tired of the mushy mush and is ready to go on a seriously hellish joyride!
Awesome Armageddon book that's what you expect: epic battles, gritty angels and demons, and a few moments of downtime...before it's back into the fray again. The ending, however, I did not expect. Nice surprise. You can definitely tell the author comes from a military background. There's lot of colossal, grand space-time concepts that really give you a sense of how big the battles are. Not too much depth to the characters... I could definitely imagine this as a video game, lol. Looking forward to the next one.
Ok, so I love angel books and holy crap did Sean deliver!! It's light Angels VS demons VS humans and lots of grapic kick ass action. I appreciated the twist in the middle and the ending left me wantimg book two.
Would have loved to read this book but as I won it on a giveaway I will not purchase it. Author never sent copy or responded to messages asking for a reason for the 4 month delay in receiving it. Low rating due to I never read and and most likely never will.
I was in the mood for something different and this was exactly what I needed. The classic heaven vs hell battle yet with an original feel. Eagerly awaiting the next book.
