It's 2:30 in the morning and Daniel Harris has just discovered that his wife is hours late from a simple errand. When he can't reach her by phone, he heads for the last place she said she would be, a 24-hour super discount store. What he finds is horror. The Stocking Dead, a novelette with no living on Aisle One.
A good short story of the start of a zombie apocalypse. But nothing more than the very start. And I wasn't real fond of the nature of the zombies. I'm giving it a rating of 3 instead of 4 because I'm not sure I'd be interested in a continuation. But the short story was worth the time.
