Adelaide McGregor was spinning out of control, in a world of pain that no one knew anything about. She put up a front, displaying a picture perfect girl that everyone wanted to be, but no one was truly there for her. Then she was sent away to live near her grandparents due to bad behavior when her mother decided she just didn't want to deal with her any longer. Without a penny to her name and no where else to go, her life was uprooted to North Carolina. Everything seems to be changing for the better with her fresh new start until she meets a guy who flips her world upside down all over again. Sometimes you have to make it through the struggles of imperfection in life for everything to come out as complete perfection, but Della hasn't quite learned that lesson yet.

Ugh, I'm not sure how to exactly put what all I didn't like about the book without giving away the whole plot....So this girl, Adelaide (aka Della) has an awful mother and non existent father, blah blah blah. She is a bad girl with a secret and an ex who is still in love with her but they can't be together. Because of this secret she goes out and sleeps with guys to fill her void, etc. etc. etc.
annoyed photo tumblr_lev98bFBwv1qabdho_zps03e6be87.gif
So then she gets shipped off to her grandma's house to straighten up her act and this wonderful guy, Nash, who she grew up with and loved so much is still there. And magically they will be going to UNC together but don't know that until she gets there and sees him. She winds up with two best roommates and they all become best friends, la de da....So of course Nash comes up and talks to her and the roommates are shocked b/c **GASP** he has an awful bitch girlfriend who is catty, Mariah. Fast forward a little later and Nash wants to be with Della but at this point Della wants to be with Justin the bad slut boy who she works with and is actually a good boy in disguise....But wait....He has a secret too! And Della finds out! And it is unacceptable! photo tumblr_inline_mm3acll6Yp1qz4rgp_zps9d731fa1.gif

and then the last 10% of the book Della is Does anyone else see why this book was annoying???

 photo tumblr_inline_mk8d25Ivb01qz4rgp_zps18bb494c.gif

Things that got on my nerves:
1. Grammatical Errors - If her name is Kassie, do not spell it in places as Cassie.
All ready. Already. There is a difference.
There are more. Will go back and find the others that got on my nerves.
2. Too Complex of characters- So Nash is good boy who she grew up with who was abused but loves Della but is with Mariah for no apparent reason and Mariah is a bitch but then

what photo tumblr_inline_mkvu0q8ZCK1qz4rgp_zps4041b240.gif
Justin is the tatted up bad boy slut who doesn't settle down but of course wants to with Della b/c her poonanny is oh so awesome but he's going to college for Criminal Justice and planning to be an officer so his reason for being a slut is b/c he will have to settle down later. But he's a good guy actually who woos her grandparents and mother and of course her stepsister wants him b/c he's oh so hot...
3. DRAMA! - I can only take so much drama in a book and this one went overboard!!

Once again C.A. Williams has written a great story that is unputdownable. Beware there is a cliff-hanger, but it was definitely still worth the read and now the wait. I LOVED CHAOTIC.

Adelaide McGregor has been going to community college for the last two years because she's not sure what she really wants to do with her life. Her mother is not a loving person and decides she's of Addy making her look bad by going to such a lower-ranked school and doing nothing with her life. Addy has commitment issues but loves affection...She doesn't do relationships but looks for a connection with someone after her first time was her being wasted.

"I never believed there was such a thing as soul mates, but now I was starting to rethink that."-Addy

I can't wait to read the book 2, A.C. Williams

Adelaide or Della was the perfect epitome of the ultimate bad girl - her life was in chaos: party, boys, sex, alcohol. It was the perfect facade for what she feels inside - her inner pains and nightmares that has been hunting her.

When her mother could no longer stomach what she has been doing with her life, her mom cancelled all her credit cards, took her car and sent her back to her grandparents. Little did her mother know that it was exactly what she needed - an old, familiar environment, a fresh start.

There, she reconnected with her old childhood friend, Nash, met great friends and got herself a job. Everything was sailing smoothly in her life until she bumped into Justin, the male version of her. If Della was the ultimate bad girl, Justin was just as bad as her. He loves to flirt, sleeps around with anyone, and discards girls like his clothes. He wanted her, she wanted him. But she wouldn't sleep with him UNLESS he promised fidelity. After all the bed-hopping he's been doing all his life, can he tie himself in one bed?

Nevertheless, getting to know him each day, she saw past through the tattoos and piercings. Unexpectedly, she liked what she saw, and so did I. It was like he was this whole new person, he was thoughtful, sweet and caring. But he can be still be tough, especially in bed. He's not dumb either, but I have to admit his pickup lines did suck. I like their bickering, had fun reading their conversations - it was like their verbal foreplay.

I just knew that they were for each other the moment Justin entered the picture. But I guess temptation, lies and deceit can ruin even the most steadfast relationship.

And there's Nash, who I was pinning for at first. The thought of old childhood friends reconnecting, old feelings rekindling is kinda sweet, but Nash totally destroyed with his stupid actions. I thought he was a really great guy but after the incident when Della got drunk, he moved WAY DOWN my list - Friends do not allow friends to make decisions especially when their DRUNK. No effing way!

I was totally hooked with Chaotic. The characters were pretty much full of surprises, and you can't help but loving or hating the person you least expect to. Not to mention that they all remind us that appearance does not guarantee one's character. He may look like a bum and covered his body with ink and still be the responsible one or he may look like he got out of the GQ and still be an ass. The ending had me hopeful and wanting for the next book in the series. Will Della and Justin finally have their happy ever after they deserve? Or will everything they have built, work for and invested in be turned into nothingness?

This is the first book of CA Williams that I have read and it definitely won’t be the last. I loved Chaotic and Justin and Della. This book I would put in the NA category, and you definitely get some steamy sex scenes! I loved the flow of the book and her writing style. I flew right through the pages needing to know what was going to happen next.

When the book starts out Della is crazy and kinda slutty, ok really slutty. She has a crappy mother who forced her to make a decision that affected her life in a huge way. Because of what happened she turned to partying and guys, using them for sex and always being in control. She needed the control. Her mother sick of her behavior, sends her to North Carolina (where Della’s dad and his parents live) instead of being an actually mother and being there for her daughter.

Life starts to look up for Della in North Carolina. She runs into an old childhood friend, that she knew when she used to stay at her grandparents when she was younger, Nash. There are definitely feelings between the two, are they friendly feelings or just more? The problem with this is Nash has a b**ch girlfriend named Mariah. Enter in Justin, a hot, cocky, tattooed, man whore Justin. There is a strong physical attraction between Justin and Della that turns into something more and eventually a relationship. However Justin is hiding a secret from Della that just might destroy them before they can really get started. There are a lot of roadblocks to Della finding her happiness and the man she is meant to be with.

Della grows a lot in this book but she definitely has a lot more growth she needs to go through. I loved her character. Back in Connecticut she didn’t have any true friends. However she becomes extremely close with her two roommates in North Carolina. I loved Callie & Zoey they are great friends and are there for Della through everything.

This book is part of a series and does end on kind of a cliffhanger-ish. You don’t know what is going to happen next and you end needing to know. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for Twisted Bliss the sequel to Chaotic. I am definetly TEAM JUSTIN, all the way!!!

I gave this book 3.5 stars and received it in exchange for an honest review.
Chaotic is about a young girl that is into all the wrong things. When her parents uproot her life and move her to the country, she has to learn to live again and deal with all the changes. I loved reading how Della grew as the book progressed, but at times it was a little unbelievable. When she met Justin, everything changed. He was rough, wild, and a man-whore. (They were the perfect match, cause she too was once a whore haha) Reading how he changed for the woman he was falling in love with was enough to make me fall in love with him.
Nash, her best friend from her younger days, just didn’t sit right with me. He was after Della while dating Mariah, so what’s to say he wouldn’t do the same to her? What happened between them after he pushed her to drink a lot was not cool in the least. He was definitely not my favorite character.
I hope Justin and Della can find the love they share and overcome the obstacles that are out for them. I look forward to the next book in the series.

This book had potential. The story was good, but I never really connected with the characters. There were also a lot of grammatical errors. I am curious as to how the story continues though.

I don’t know if I ever read a book where the title was so appropriately fitting. Chaotic was a book full of utter chaos and emotional turmoil but it was GREAT!!!

Once again C.A. Williams has written a great story that I could not put down. I’ll admit I am and was not happy with the ending, perhaps a bit of a warning that this will be part of a series. So beware there is a cliff-hanger, but it was definitely still worth the read and now the wait. What really surprised me with this story is it had a few elements I am usually not a fan of aside from just the cliff-hanger. But I guess you could say I let bygones be bygones because I still LOVED Chaotic.

Adelaide McGregor has been going to community college for the last two years because she’s not sure what she really wants to do with her life. Her mother is none to loving and decides she is sick of Addy making her look bad by going to such a low-pedigree school and doing nothing with her life. Addy has divorced parent syndrome and seeks affection elsewhere, thus her scandalous behavior. She does not do relationships but seeks a connection with someone after her first time was a drunken mess.

“I never believed there was such a thing as soul mates, but now I was starting to rethink that.”-Addy

Her unaffectionate mother kicks Addy out and sends her to her grandparents where she can attend University nearby. With the help of two new roommates and old friend Nash, Addy is finally able to breathe, free from the constraints of her mother and people in her past. She begins to find herself and even enjoys school once she sets her mind to it.

Addy meets Justin Parker, bad-boy extraordinaire, with a play-boy status and tattooed exterior that Addy can’t resist, even though she tries for a bit. My only issue with Justin was I didn’t feel like I knew him enough. The relationship between the two seems to move in fast forward and we don’t really get an inside view into who Justin is or even what in his past haunts him that made him into who he is now. We know Addy’s past but Justin’s is more of a mystery and we all know everyone has a past. I’ll admit Justin is beyond sweet, and smooth too. I mean how many guys actually think to call and ask the grandparents approval before taking you on a overnight trip. Especially considering they could have easily said no and ruined said plans. But not Addy’s grandparents who rock and completely make up for lack of maternal instincts in her mother.

description

I was surprised by Addy’s past and how she dealt with it. The whole hooking up with Chris really threw me and I don’t quite understand it. From her side of things I’m surprised she gave in considering from an outsider’s POV it was like a date-rape since she was so drunk the first time. And her mother… OMG what a bitch… Regardless of Addy’s age it still should have been her choice how to proceed in that situation but her mother ran roughshod all over her and practically forced her. It’s amazing she is able to even speak to her mother or Chris but I guess that just shows how strong a character she is and she can overcome a lot. Hell, she chooses Childhood Education as her major, when she admits more than once how much kids freak her out.

I was also disappointed in her father. I don’t know how he could leave Addy with her mother who is more snakelike than human. But again, Addy holds no grudges which shocked me. When she overhears Justin and his friend however, her forgiving nature seems to be on vacation. I can’t say I blame her because having to overhear what she did could not have been easy. Especially her not knowing if she would have known the truth otherwise or if Justin ever would have told her.

description

Honestly I didn’t really like Nash. I could not understand his relationship with Mariah, the bitch. Also every time he alluded to breaking up with her to Addy I wanted to smack him. As if he was testing her reaction and I just felt it was really uncomforting coming from him so she could run into his arms if and when he left her. In many ways, it was reminiscent of a married man who kept telling his mistress he would leave his wife for her. When Nash kept pursuing Addy I knew it was going to bring more Chaos. She even knew going in that they had more of a friendship than anything, but she felt determined to give it a try mostly due to Nash’s persistence. This is one of those subjects that tick me off, and boy did it. I could not stop yelling at Adelaide for pushing herself into a relationship she really didn’t want and was not feeling. This has got to be some new sort of Self-Peer-Pressure.

description

Again, some of the decisions Adelaide makes sort of threw me for a loop. Certain things she over thinks whereas others she jumps right in. Take moving in with her step-sister Mia. I understand that the rent would be paid, but after seeing the type of person she is, there is no way I would be able to hang out with her let alone live with her. Even though Addy may not be in a relationship at the time, I was concerned for her friends and other roommates. Mia has no shame and I would and do fear the havoc she will undoubtedly add to their lives.

description

Considering the madness that made up Chaotic, I swear the last 25% is even worse. More madness and drama occurs when you can’t think anymore would be possible.

The last chapter/epilogue in Justin’s POV was so perfect. It was just what I needed to calm down and really set the stage for the next book. I can only hope that the next book is either in Justin’s POV or even better be a split POV so we can really stay connected to both of them.

description

I’m not gonna lie at times Chaotic had me yanking chunks of hair out of my head and left me an emotional mess. It was like watching TV, I was constantly yelling at the characters hoping they would listen and they never did. But every page was riveting and I was engrossed from the start. Chaotic was a great read and I can only hope that the next book will be the HEA of Adelaide and Justin. Well, that and I cannot wait to read all about Justin decked out in his police uniform, with standard gun and handcuffs. YUMM!!

Chaotic started out so formulaic and had a little angst. Della was really sort of a bad girl. I actually disliked her at first because she was really unlike-able. Although I kept my mind open because I know she experienced something that made her like that. Ta-da! She really did experience something that was really not a normal occurrence for a girl her age. It was unbelievably annoying especially it was her Mom's fault. Seriously though. Her Mom!!! But that didn't make me like her either, I'd be honest that I want to punch her all throughout the story!

When Della moved back to her Grandparent's house, I immediately liked Nash for her. He was the sweet guy that every girl wants and that guy who was always taken. Of course, Della wouldn't mind right? She might be opening her legs to a lot of guys but she wasn't one to break other's relationship. At least, she still has some dignity left.

Then Della started to go out with Justin, the bad boy type every girls falls for. At first, I hated Justin but as the story went on, I actually liked him! Weird thing is, I didn't feel how their relationship started. I swear my life right now. It's kind of insta-love but it wasn't. It's really weird. To the point that I can't even explain it! But I know when their relationship was already in the middle. I don't know if I forgot when they started to feel something for each other or if it wasn't really written. I really don't know. I swear. But I felt sort-of swoony when they were together. Especially their first date. Who knew bad boys can give a girl a proper date? So yeah, that's what made me give in. I have a soft spot for bad boys who do such sweet things. And really, I think Della deserved that. They sort of saved each other. Justin became a one-woman man already while Della was able to be that behaved woman her parents and grandparents were waiting for.

Although I think, Della still have some issues on her own. Sure, Justin did something really stupid. And honestly, if someone did that to me, I think I'll just pass out or something. Kidding aside, Della had the right to just ignore Justin. But she did feel something for him! Not like with other guys before. So I guess that's a start. I really do think she really have to accept what happened to her before so she can move on. Maybe we'll see that in the second book?

Before I finish this review, I have to vent out how much I hate Della's mother. My goodness. I think her Mom have some psychotic problems. No really. The reason she divorced Della's Dad? That's just so really stupid. I swear I can give some theories on her personality. I hope her mom's attitude will be explained in the next book. So even if for just a little, we can understand her actions. Or not.

Chaotic has some serious issues tackled. It also contains sexual scenes which I didn't read. Again. I don't want to invade their privacy, duh! Weird me, I know. Although I have to be honest that some of the issues weren't tackled well enough for me. That's just my opinion, okay? I'm sure you'll feel different since we have different perspectives. I also may not have really connected to Della in such a deep way but I sort of get why she was being that kind of girl. But honestly, Chaotic was a nice read. I really find its premise promising. It'll show you how such imperfections must be accepted because the only way we can see beauty in someone is through their imperfections. I'm hoping there will be more in the second book!

Sigh. Good thing this book was short and I finished it in a night because if I spent too much time for it, I would have been so irritated since I could have read another book. Not sure if a review will be forthcoming.

*Also posted at Oops! I Read A Book Again*

Thank you to Shane of Itching for Books Blog Tours and Cori for the review copy! Still, receiving a copy for free in no way influenced my opinions. I don't think I can stop myself from ranting so there might be minor spoilers.

Chaotic, simpy put, was chaotic. I'm really sorry, I don't mean to be rude or to rain on someone's parade but this book isn't just for me. I saw some raves on Goodreads and while I do get why they loved it, I felt like I read a different book from what they reviewed. My lack of enjoyment for this book stems from my disconnect with the main character, Della, and actually, all of the characters. I just couldn't quite connect with her and I am totally not invested in the trials and tribulations she were and will be facing. Right from the get-go, I was turned off by how she spoke of badly of her supposed best friends. I mean, sure, they're lying, backstabbing bitches but then, why hang out with them? Oh well, maybe I just don't get the dynamics in their relationship.

Sure, Della majorly changed and grew after she was shipped off to her grandparents and forced to attend university. I did like that because I don't know if I could have finished this novel if she were her same self. However, even if I end up tolerating Della and that her very irritating mother got out of the picture, sadly, the plot was flimsy at best. I do get that it's more of a slice-of-life novel and that the conflict isn't a BIG conflict since this is just the first book of the series but I just found it lacking. Moreover, maybe it's just me, but I've read this plot a lot of times before and this novel didn't bring anything new to it. It was just the same old thing. I knew what was gonna happen right from the start and though familiarity works, if it can't even elicit a swoon from me, then why should I read this romance book?

Though I like Della with Justin, woah, Justin just changed his ways right after he met Della? The other guy, Nash, is her best friend from before. I know I am the biggest fan of best friends-turned-lovers novels but I just couldn't get past Nash cheating on his then-girlfriend with Della. Sure, they were attracted to each other and it was just kissing and touching but WHO ARE YOU KIDDING? YOU ARE CHEATING. TWICE. And a lot of flirting here and there. Wow. Lastly, I found the conflict at the end superficial. Sure, it might be a dealbreaker for Della but hey, they were both suffering and I just want to smack their foreheads together so they can realize what they should do and to end my suffering. But alas, I learned that this was the first book and I have absolutely no plans on continuing the series.

Overall, Chaotic was irritating at first and got bland after that. I'd recommend this for hardcore contemporary new adult romance fans. Do read some other reviews, especially the raves, because maybe this is your thing. Sadly for me, it wasn't. Well, you can't like them all.

I was given this book to read for an honest review. It's the second book I've reviewed. For C.A. Williams as I reviewed Chasing Leah also. I loved Chasing Leah and I can't believe that I now loved Chaotic even more.

Chaotic starts out with a troubled Della. Della has had quite a few bad things happen in her life. As a child she had the perfect life. Two loving parents that meant the world to her even though they didn't have much. Her mom on the other hand always wanted to live far beyond her means and when she had finally found a rich man to sink her teeth into she up and took Della away from the only life she knew and Della was thrust into a life of luxury. Sounds all glamorous right? No! Della actually hits a downward spiral. She starts drinking a lot at parties and ends up having unprotected sex one night with her then boyfriend Chris. Well, I'm sure you can guess what happened next. Della's mother being of " high society " tried to make sure no one found out about Della's little problem and took care of things so she wouldn't be embarrassed. Nice mom Right? I mean she wasn't even there for her daughter. She was just worried about herself and what her friends would think if they found out.

Della was never the same after that. She actually started to sleep around with any guy she could. She was just numb always acting like she was this one person on the outside but never quite able to find herself. Not until her mom ends up cutting her off completely and sending her away to live with her grandparents.
I was truly upset at how badly her mom treated her. Don't get me wrong, Della was definitely a little punk but would she have turned out differently if her mom would of at least shown a little compassion towards her?

Moving with her grandparents actually ends up being great for Della. She meets her new roommates at college and is instantly connected to them. She gets her childhood friend Nash back and actually starts to find out who Della truly is.

Della even met this player bad boy Justin. He's all about the sex appeal and at first Della wants nothing to do with him. When I first read about Justin he's exactly the bad boy your with for a night but not really serious with. I was glad Della was staying away from him but reading on my feelings on Justin started to change.

C.A. Really had you feeling every part of these people's lives. Don't even get me started on the love scenes. They were seriously hot. C.A. Knows how to write a great story with lots of feeling and you just want to hide away in a dark corner, where no one can bother you, and finish reading. I'm Hopi g the next book is out soon but I guess I can keep myself busy by reading the second book to chasing Leah. Thanks for such great reads C.A. You really had my heart pounding in lots of different ways.

Chaotic is about a young girl from a pretty well to do family, wanting to keep up appearances, and keep family secrets just that. Della makes some wrong decisions and gets herself to in some trouble, giving an emotional read.

Della is seriously on the wrong path. At first I was just so irritated with her character. She seemed to come from a fairly decent family, she was part of a reality tv show a couple years ago, but she snippy and snotty. I soon learned just why she was the way she was and I began to understand and like more and ended up liking her. There were a few secondary characters that were great, they were her roommates. They accepted her just for her. And her grandparents were just amazing, and just what she needed. Can’t say that about her parents, either of them.

The story revolves Della, who has a past that her mother would love to keep secret, but that isn’t an easy thing when Della was part of the tv program person that quite a few people watched, and with social media, people would always be able to find out who she is. We do learn what happened to her and my heart went out to her, especially when you someone as a mother like she did. Now, Della does find some romance and there a fair share of steamy scenes. But there is also a love triangle, the longtime best friend, Nash, who is sweet and genuinely a good guy. And then the tattooed, pierced guy, Justin, who at first glance is the bad boy, the ones that girls fall for. But things aren’t always what they seem, and I wasn’t sure who I wanted her to end up with until the end. I don’t know if it was because I have read so many books with love triangles in them, or that I am just getting burned out or what. But this one okay, and it worked as something that Della had to work through and learn from. Della makes some mistakes, but learns some important life lessons. I enjoyed watching her grow up as much as she did throughout this. The ending wasn’t what I hoping for, but the epilogue made up for it, giving me some hope at a happy ending for Della.

Chaotic was a pretty good book, dealing with issues that girls face today. I am curious to see how everything turns out for Della, and look forward to reading the next book in the series.

This is the first book I read by Author C.A. Williams and was impressed. I enjoyed reading Chaotic and will be looking forward to more in the series. 4 out of 5 stars.

Adelaide McGregor (Della) went to a community college for a year, and didn’t quite know what to do with herself. With the thoughts and memories of her past constantly haunting her and nobody there to help her through her problems, she doesn’t care what people think. She just wants the pain to go away, to forget. With a mother who acts like she doesn’t care about her, it’s no wonder she acts out like she does. Adelaide went through some difficult times in her life and her mother was nowhere to be found when she needed her the most. So when Adelaide kept spiraling out of control, her mother decided to ship her off to North Carolina to live with her conservative, old fashioned, grandparents. Since Adelaide was cut off, she has no choice but to try to start being responsible. After all, this could be her chance, her fresh start she was looking for. Just when she thinks things are looking up and couldn’t be better, everything starts to go downhill.

I truly enjoyed reading Chaotic. It is about struggles of a young teen through High school to Community College. It goes in description, with the ups, the downs, the fake friends that every high school girl has to deal with, and even family drama. It reminds you it’s not always easy being young and everyone has their own struggles. Struggles that a lot of young teens do face these days. Just because they are young doesn’t mean they haven’t lived through hell and learned to deal with it. I loved Della’s character in this story; she is strong, and able to keep herself afloat, knowing she can’t rely on anyone but herself. And we also got introduced to so many more important characters in this story. But I won’t ruin how great they all were so you will just have to grab you a copy of Chaos and read it. I Can’t wait to read Twisted Bliss which will be book 2 in the Imperfection Series. Appealing to the young adult crowd, I would recommend this read to my friends.

My first CA Willaims book was choatic, for sure! This book started out sort of rough for me only because I wasn't really connecting with any of the characters, I actually disliked them. Della was spoiled beyond belief and frustratingly immature. Her friends, if you want to call them that, were pathetic. Her so called Mother, ha what a joke. I was frustrated and wanted to jump in the pages and strangle them all!
But, when Della was shipped off to North Carolina to stay with her Grandparents and go to a 4 year college, because her Mother couldn't handle her, things really started to turn around. It was like I was reading about a totally different character. I loved this new Della a whole lot more. She had and still has a lot of growing up to do but she is mostly on her own now and out of her mother's clutches and she's got a great support system going for her now.
The 2 main guys in the book are Justin and Nash. Nash has been her best friend for years since she's always spent summers with her grandparents. She hadn't seen him in a while and now that they are both adults, there seems to be some sparks between them. Then she meets Justin! Justin is the bad boy on campus, he's full of tattoos and a facial piercing and he has any girl he wants. She resists him for a while but he is persistent. I was back and forth going from Team Nash to Team Justin throughout the entire book and still can't make up my mind.
This is a series so it goes without saying that there is a cliffhanger but the way the author ended this book is perfect, in my opinion. The story line flowed well even while going in every conceivable direction and most of the characters were perfect, even though they'll probably make you want to choke them too. Some other characters I would have liked more information and background about and I am hoping that we get to know more of them in the second book. I am definitely anxiously awaiting the next book in the series now, after reading Chaotic. You have to give this book a try, you won't regret it. Sometimes chaos in life can make you a stronger person.

Della seriously had to grow on me she was just out of control, "don't worry mother. I'm not being stupid about it, I'm on birth control, and whichever penis I pick is most certainly wrapped. So when I feel the urge to spread my legs, just know I'm being one hundred percent safe." With Nash you see a different side of Della one that I really liked, "oh, please," I snorted. "I used to let you win so you wouldn't run off pouting to your mom like a baby because a girl beat you." I mean he's certainly a looker as well, "he wasn't buff like some weightlifter, but her was lean and tight in all of the right places. He tugged on the gray pajama pants he was wearing, to reveal a pair of black boxer briefs." Then there's Justin, and you know when you have a keeper when he doesn't give two hoots about morning breath, "I really could care less." Justin is a caring person, "well," he finally said. "I'm a little pissed that you didn't tell me sooner, and I'm a little pissed at your mom. Who seriously acts like that? I don't know how I'm going to prepare myself to meet that woman. she sounds like a real b****." Halfway through the book and I didn't know if I was team Nash or Team Justin that's just how sweet, kind, and caring both guys are. Justin says the sweetest things, "c'mon princess," he yelled into the bathroom. "You know I think you look beautiful with or without makeup, we don't have time for your primping s***." Justin knows what to say to get your heart racing "you are so effing beautiful right now. So sweet." his thumb landed on my cheek, brushing it softly. "But this is going to be rough and hard, baby. Because I can tell that's what we both need right now." I didn't like how it ended and I'm still not sure if I'm team Nash or Team Justin although I'm leaning more to team Justin as Nash is just to he upsets me.

Adelaide (Della) McGregor is really not sure what to do with her life so has spent the last two years going to community college. Her mother gives her hardly any attention and little to no love so, Since she does not get the affection she needs from her parents she seeks it elsewhere, partying, sex, alcohol are all things she uses to try to fill the void in herself. Her mother who worries more about appearance and social status then her daughter decides Adelaide is making her look bad by going to a community college and not doing what she thinks she should with her life. So she sends her to live with her grandparent. This actually is just what Della needs because at her grandparents house when she was stripped of everything is where she started to grow and discover herself she even got a job. Here we meet Nash who honestly im not so sure i like at first i thought it was sweet she was reconnecting with a childhood friend but as the story went on i thought he was a user and also quite manipulative though with one sentence to Della at the end of the book he did redeem his self a little by at least showing he could be responsible and put someone else before his self. Then we have Justin who is the quintessential Bad boy but tries to change for Della and oh boy what a journey their relationship will take you on. This book is adequately named Chaotic because thats exactly what Della’s life and story is. Della is a extremely strong character and shows she is a survivor. Im not sure how I feel about the ending or the fact that this book is part of a series because i wasnt expecting it but I Will be waiting for and reading book two because I need to know what happens. I enjoyed this book and Recommend others to read it as well overall I give this book a 4.5 star rating I took half a star because the series aspect came out of left field with no warning.

3.5-4 Stars ****

Firstly I want to thank the tour provider and the Author for providing me with an ARC copy of this book to read and review for this book blitz!
I loved this book! It was a short read for me, but enjoyed it non-of-the-less :)

It certainly lives up to its title...CHAOTIC!
Crammed full of drama, family scandals, new beginnings, and of course lust.

Adelaide (AKA Dalla) is young girl who is going through some issues in her young adult life. Living with a "stuck up" mother and a non-existent dad, Della can only turn to one thing....Alcohol.

Things go from bad to worse with Della and she finds herself being shipped off to her grandparents house to recoup and get her self sorted out.

Della's character was a tad annoying for me, but that's just me.

After getting settled and back into college life, Della has met new friends and reacquainted with old friends from her past.

She's finally found best-friends that like her for who she is and not the man her mother married...Both Callie & Zoey are both their for Della when things take a turn for the worst yet again.

I secretly love Justin Parker......he's the bad boy playboy with the looks but has a sacred and secret kind side, that we don't actually see until the last couple of chapters in the book.

I'm a tad in two minds about Nash.
1) Yeah he's her oldest best-friend but he's with a bitch of a girlfriend, even though he's been waiting for Della?
2) If he really wanted to make a go of things with Della he would of fought harder for her....

Fate decides to chuck more Chaos and Chaotic scenes into the spanner works for Della and her friends, with huge decisions that need to be made for Della, will she turn back to her old ways?

Can see sort out her Chaotic life?

I can't wait to read the second instalment....

This book had me going back and forth in liking and not so sure if I liked. In the end, I liked the book. I loved Della’s character. Although she had led a privileged life, she was able to see what life was really about when everything was taken from her. Her character was open to learning life lessons and self-discovery. You don’t typically come across characters quite like her, similar but different.
I loved Justin. Who doesn’t? It’s the typical cliché, but yet you don’t ever want to truly hate him like some bad boys. Bad boys should have a love-hate relationship with the reader, but not Justin. That just wouldn’t fit with the storyline.
Nash, I didn’t like him at all from day one. He is a douchebag. He is the undercover bad boy. He is manipulative and selfish. Although he served a purpose in this story, I could have done without him completely!!
This book is well written and will be hard to put down, for the most part. I will admit there were parts that were lagging for me. But I would think that is true for a lot of books. It’s a unique story and is mapped out well. The connections and reconnections the characters make are realistic. Now, the only thing I was disappointed with in the book is the emotions. I find myself saying this a lot lately… I wanted to feel more of an emotional rollercoaster with this book. It wasn’t there for me. I liked the ride, but it wasn’t the ride I would think of considering the story.
I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a serious but light read. It isn’t hard to read, and it won’t take you long to get through it.

The story begins with a rich, college aged girl, whose life is spinning out of control. Living in Connecticut, Adelaide is used to only the finest and best of everything. She was featured on a reality show, putting her in the national spotlight with her snobbish ways. She parties too much and when her continued antics embarrass her well to do mother and step-father, they ship her off to her paternal grandparents in North Carolina. Having spent her formative years in North Carolina and staying with her grandparents during summer breaks, she feels comfortable and at peace almost immediately. Della, as her friends and grandparents call her, also reconnects with her best friend from growing up in North Carolina, Nash. Trying to get her life back on track, she enrolls at UNC and moves in to the college dorms with two new roommates, Callie and Zoey.
Settling in with her three friends, a full class schedule and finding a new job, her days are full. Her life feels like it is on track and until she literally falls for the campus hottie, Justin. He is a huge flirt who also works at the same pub as she does. He is relentless pursuing her and she eventually gives in, going on a date with him. They have a great time and the chemistry is undeniable. They start dating exclusively, blending into every facet of each other’s life. When Della finds out about a hidden truth from the past, it puts her into a state of confusion, doubting her relationship with Justin. Will she get past the betrayal or will she turn to a friend looking for more than a casual friendship. Chaotic is the first book in the Imperfect Perfection series.

Is it wrong that I wanted Della to end up with the bad boy rather than the best friend? Nash is perfect for her, and I'm sure I should have been in his corner but I couldn't bring myself to cheer for him, to me she needed to choose the other guy.

Della has one of the worst book mothers I've ever read, that woman needs shooting for what she put her daughter through, and her damned concern for appearances over feelings. I doubt she can show affection anyway thanks to all the Botox.

Della's spent the past few years living in the fake world that seems to surround wealth, where friendships are based on how rich or important you are and are nothing more than a superficial gloss. She's rebelled after a particularly horrific set of events and her punishment is to be sent away to her Grandparents. Funny thing is it doesn't become the punishment but her salvation. Away from the fakery, and finally making real friends and being around people who love and care for her she finds herself.

She also finds two guys who both want her.

I won't say I was happy with how the book ended, but it wasn't a cliffhanger. I'm surprised that after laying the groundwork earlier on in the book that her ex failed to make an appearance. I've a feeling that may have been reserved for book two.

Whilst I enjoyed the book it didn't wow me, it was a pleasant read, but left me unfulfilled. I'd read book two if I found it on my Kindle but I'm not sure that I'd rush out and buy it on release. It didn't engage me enough. That said, if you like college romances then I'm sure you'll love this story.

At first I wasn't too sure about this one Adelaide seemed so stuck up and full of herself, I got the whole little I'm a poor little rich girl feeling but then it all changed.

Adelaide had been through a lot in her short life although I don't think she went about dealing with her pain in the right way I could see why she did it.

When she is forced to move back to live with her grandparents its like she took at 190. She finally got friends....real friends not the fake things she called friends before. She started school and started her new life. Everything seems to be going up for her and she has reconnected with her best friend Nash. Nash had a crazy girlfriend and even though they were trying to be just friends like the old days, it was nothing like the old day they couldn't figure out what this attraction to each other was all about but seeing as he had a girlfriend there was nothing they could do about it.

Then one night out she meets Justin, at first she blows him off like no other. He is your typical hot bad boy or so she thought. Justin turns out to be anything but typical. I for one LOVED him. Loved them together. This is where is all gets tricky, I wont give anything away but my gosh these two I swear I was on the edge of my seat the whole time trying to figure out how this was going to work. I'm team Justine all the way!!

Cant wait to see what comes next!!

There is not a better name for this book than Chaos. Adelaide McGregor’s life is, well… Chaos. Della is raised by her cold hearted mother after her parents are divorced. Della’s mother is all about her appearance and nothing else. So when Della begins acting out, to save her reputation, Della’s mother sends her to live with her grandparents.

Life starts to look up for Della while living in North Carolina with her grandparents. Della attends the local university and meets new friends (Callie and Zoey) and an old childhood friend Nash. Now, I loved Nash the first time that I met him, but he has a girlfriend, Mariah. Who I hate. And you will too. The more I dove into the book, I began questioning Nash’s decisions and loyalty to Della.

When the three fronds go out one night, Della runs into Justin. Literally. Justin is a hard, cocky, tattooed man. There is undeniable chemistry that is sparked between Justin and Della. Della goes against the advice of her friends and Nash to start a relationship with Justin. But the secrets!!! The secrets that they are both keeping may tear them apart.

Throughout the entire book there are many twists and turns. A past that keeps surfacing to threaten Della’s future. People who are not who you think they are. Chaotic is full of drama and heartache and surprises that keep the pages turning. Chaotic ends with a cliffhanger, but don't worry. There is a book 2!

What a great book. First I have to say this is my first book by this author, but I plan on reading more from her. Character Creation is always an important factor in any book I read, and C. A Williams has created characters that are fabulous. Della is a wonderful young girl, struggling to overcome her past. I do love the interactions between all the characters and the by-play or relationships.

Character growth occurs in this book. The only problem I truly had is that the book left me hanging. I truly HATE cliffhangers of any sort. The only other issue I had was Della's mother, gah what a Beeeyatch! This book is one heck of an emotional roller coaster ride. One second you are literally laughing along with Della, the next you are practically in tears with her.

I love moral lessons in a book, and this one does have one. It's the one I always told my girls, people who love you accept you for who and what you are regardless of past indiscretions. And I love that Della learns that important lesson along the way.

I hate spoilers so I won't go into any other details. Just go grab yourself a copy of this wonderful story, it truly is a 5 star read.

Details/Disclaimer: Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Although from money and upper-class Della did not have the most nurturing upbringing. As a result she could care less of her families image as they were always more concerned about the family name then the love they needed to show their daughter. This neglect leads Della to rebel, especially after what had happened that one night that lead to one of the most traumatizing events in her life.

Her mother finally has had enough and sends her off to her grandparents, cutting her off in hopes that this will smarten her up. But while there she slowly finds herself and who she is meant to be. She reconnects with an old friend Nash, who has secretly admired her for years. But then there is Nash, her boss and flirtatious bad boy. Della's emotions are trying to stay grounded while trying to decide between practical and magical.

But this book wouldn't be named Chaotic if it was just that. The twists and turns Della has to face throughout are both heartbreaking and inspiring!

Can't wait for book two!

Arc review
4 stars

This is my first time reading this author and I loved it. I like the first person storyline and love that there was a storyline , not just about meeting a guy in college. There was a couple of hard topics in this book, the author let it play out and made us draw our own conclusions. The only thing I was upset about, is that we didn't get Justin's POV, only Della's and I would have loved to hear what he was thinking.

Della is a socialite, that parties a lot. She got herself in trouble and her mom sent her to live with her grandparents. During this time, she has to keep her grades up and be on her best behavior. She meets up with her childhood friend Nash, and well sparks fly. Only problem he has a girlfriend. Needless to say della bumps in to Justin and we'll once again sparks fly but, they are intense. Let me say there is a lot that happens and if you want a book that keeps you wanting to read, this it.

It is a cliffhanger, and typically I hate this but this book was really good and the next book is out, so I'm telling you, read this book. I can't wait to start the next one.

3 1/2 Stars from Kota for Kota's Book Kollection

"There truly was so much going on in this story, that Chaotic is such an apt title. This is my first CA Williams book and while it was a pleasant read, and I am curious to see how the story unfolds – I am not sure I was completely sold on this book.

Ms Williams spent time developing the characters in this story and you either loved, hated or didn’t feel much for them at all. Della started out incredibly unlikeable, her attitude of expectation was offensive, and after learning her story – I found a little unbelievable. Chris played an integral role in Della’s backstory, but really seemed like an odd inclusion in her current situation – I can only assume he may feature somewhere in book 2? Then of course we have Marley and Madison – really, I thought I had fallen into a scene from Mean Girls with these three, thank goodness Della matured along the way." ~ Kota

I nearly gave up on this book because the first three chapters where had to get through, but I'm so glad I persisted and continued to read. Once you get through the fist three chapters you won't want to put it down. You will ride the roller coaster of emotions and say a little prey that Justin and Della stay together. You will won't to start a hit list eliminating other characters so that they can be together. Della is lost and needs to find herself. You will feel her pain and Justin's as well and you will laugh and cry and what Della has had to go through.

Della has to deal with her past and except what has happened before she can move on with her future. She need to learn to trust and her gut feelings but is in such emotionally scarred she can't accept Justin's love. Her life in this book is truly chaotic.

As you read you will find you can't put this book down. You will want to go to the end and see if Justin and Della do stay together. Don't cheat. It all worth it to read each chapter. You will just fall in love with this story

When I first started reading, I had trouble getting into the story. Quite frankly, I just did not like Della. She seemed spoiled, cold, selfish and mean. She did, however, grow into a likable character. Her blossoming relationship with Justin and the way she turned her life around were fun to read about.

This was a well-written story with really well-developed characters. I felt it was a 3.5 star read but I think that some of that was personal taste bringing down the rating for me. The characters acted a little immature for my preference. Now, keep in mind that they are in college so I wouldn't let that sway you from reading this book. While I may have rolled my eyes at some of the things that the characters did, I finished the book ready to move onto book 2.
