I don’t know how much time has passed. I don’t even know what is real and what isn’t. There are times where for a matter of minutes, I’m in a dark place. The room is dirty, warm, and I’m alone. My hands and legs are bruised and I feel weak. I want to fight. I want to find my dagger and go after whoever is doing this to me, but I can’t. I feel the wards around me, but those wards are different than the ones that protected the Academy. These are dark and keep me from using my nephilim abilities. For the rest of the time, I’m always with Hunter, and we are at the Academy, but there is never anyone else around us. It’s just him and me, and everything should feel perfect, but I don’t trust any of it. It’s all too perfect and life never is.

Right from the start you are thrown into the action, where book 3 ended is where book 4 starts. This one is my favorite of all the books! I loved the twists in the story line and how much the characters have grown throughout the whole series. There were defiantly a few things that I did not see coming at all and Wow they sure did surprise me! Kayla has grown up so much thought out the series but you really see her shine in this last book, she is really put to the test and I have to tell you to me she comes out with flying colors! This is one book I’d really recommend reading if you are a fan on YA Paranormal romance.
Kayla has definitely grown up in this last book of the Academy of the Fallen series. Kayla most definitely went to Hell and back to show how strong and determined she can be. Love, friendships, and a little boy for motivation gets her to the ending I was hoping for, along with a little help from Hunter of course. Daniele Lanzarotta's book is age appropriate for young adult readers and full of suspense, romance, and a lot of paranormal.
What a fantastic, nail-biting ending to a wonderful series! I love it when an author neatly puts a bow on a book, and that is exactly what Ms. Lanzarotta has done. Given us a gift! This series is a must read for the YA paranormal loving teen or adult! This is definitely going onto my "let's read this again" list!
Thoroughly enjoyed Forsaken! Kayla grew throughout the series, but it was in this book that you could really see how much. Definitely a great YA paranormal read!
I haven't been into the sci-fi world in a long while. I guess the "Twilight Series" ruined most sci-fi books for me. THIS THOUGH💖💕💗❤️ IS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE LOVE STORY AS WELL AS A VERY CREATIVE SCI-FI ADVENTURE. MIXED PERFECTLY TOGETHER WITH ACTION AND I HAVE ACTUALLY READ ALL 4 BOOKS IN 2 DAYS. I AM SO SORRY TO BE AT THE END. IT DREW YOU IN AND IT STARTS AS A GIRL IN HIGH SCHOOL STARTS SEEING BEINGS AND IS FREAKED OUT AND FINDS SOMEONE AT HER SCHOOL, "HUNTER" WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH THESE THINGS. HE HELPS HER AND SO THE FIRST PART - THE HIGH SCHOOL PART GOES BY VERY QUICKLY, I WAS VERY RELIEVED AND TAKES YOU PLACES AND MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE THERE ON THIS LOVE/ACTION PACKED ADVENTURE. IT IS JUST SOO GOOD! YES SHE GETS ABILITIES, MANY, SO DO NOT FRET!! I WAS THOUROUGHLY ENTERTAINED! GREAT AUTHOR!!
Spellbinding twists and turns!! Just when you think things may settle down...plot twist!! So much goes down in this book and again in this book you can see how much character development there is from the first book. I thought the author did a fabulous job bringing the stories and fighting scenes to life.
This book fast forwards pretty quickly into the future! It is kind of hard to keep up because it isn’t what you expect! There is plenty of action and some good closure that I personally appreciate!
This series has been fantastic. The storyline just kept on giving. The characters have been written with compassion and strength. The level of action is great. A brilliant performance from Sarah
Kayla has been through so much as she learns more about her life as a nephilim. She has been trained by Samael and lived in the Academy with Hunter and some of the Fallen, but she was able to go back home to her family this is where something happen that should have. They had only been back for a while and her half-brother Benjamin’s father escaped from the Academy that they were holding him at and he with the help of someone was able to kidnap Kayla and bring her to hell. She couldn’t understand why she was about to get in HELL with all the heat. Samael explained that their powers as Nephilim’s has taken over to all them to be in HELL without the effects of the heat bothering them. Hunter was left unable to protect Kayla from being taken because he had wards put around him. Once he was able to move he ran back to the Academy to Xavier to get help and tell them what had happen. Kayla and Samael have been told they must train someone in order to leave HELL by one of the Demons that is keeping them locked up. They have no clue who it is they must work with so they keep practicing with each other to be ready for whatever it is that they must do. Why in hell Kayla accidentally does something with lost souls that there. She gets into their mind and by doing so she changes something about them....... I can’t believe this is the last book in for the Academy of the Fallen. Daniele has an amazing way of telling how such a thing of Angels Fallen and them trying to get back could happen. If you have not read this series yet make sure to pick it up where ebooks are sold.
I'm 100% sure that I'm 0% certain of what am i doing with my life, but this was low even for me, tbh
I mean, okay, a little more... review-y review... I was hoping that the author's writing style would improve over the course of the books - I mean, it wouldn't be the first time a series started out a little weirdly and then the author just got the hang of it and did really well in the writing department in the end. Unfortunately, I've seen literally no improvement here, on the contrary, it got even worse when the author started writing the SHOUTED NAMES/SHORT SENTENCES like this in the third book of the series. Also, . It usually seems just like such an immature thing to do and it's really hard for me to imagine a happy ending like this when most people have trouble staying together even for 60 years.
also, the plot was ridiculous, but I really don't feel the need to get too much into it, considering my rating.
Love this series the ending was good I'm just sad Sam had to die he would have been a good dad to trent put over all I'm Happy Kayla n hunter got their Happy ever after
