Return to the world of Insight with ENFLAME, the sixth installment of the addictive story that brings you to the forefront of your darkest fears and cradles you in the belief that each of us has our own divine fate.
Enflame opens breaths after the final chapter of Vindicate. Both Landen and Willow are rocked with unthinkable grief as they struggle to find their balance in the wake of Mars deadly trial.
The Realm showed no mercy on this fated couple. Landen’s mind was awakened; a past that he’d rather not remember was revealed to his soul. Giving the darker side of his peaceful being no choice but to seize control and give birth to a fierce warrior, who vows to show no mercy, as he fights for those he has sworn to guide and protect.
These new found revelations bring forth more than a dark awareness. Old souls from a fiery past come forth and reveal how tightly they are woven into the curse that torments Landen and Willow’s every breath. These admissions threaten the foundation of this ordained couple - invoking emotions that are deeper and darker than any past conflict this pair has faced thus far.
Within this jaded confluence both Landen and Willow must refocus their strengths, overcome heated emotions, and weather through the karmic law of life. The only thing standing in their way is scornful jealousies and wrathful grudges that have the influence to either empower them under the commanding rays of Jupiter or divide two souls that are created to be one. With seized breath, those that have placed their faith in this dynamic couple wait for their future to unfold.
I'm an obsessive daydreamer. Lover of loud alternative music. I love to laugh until it hurts. Fall is my favorite season. Black is my favorite 'shade.' Strong believer in the saying: there is a reason for everything, therefore I search for 'marked moments' every moment of everyday...and I find them. Life is beautiful!
I feel like I'm going to start every review saying "[book title] is my favorite of the series!!". The simple way to put what I'm feeling to words is to say that every book of this series brings something vital to the story. Enflame is no exception.
It sets the story forward in a big big way and even though sometimes there's a lot of information to take in, Jamie Magee manages to avoid info dump and everything flows.
This "new Landen" took my breath away, like everytime I reread this book. He's fierce but he knows Willow can be just as fierce, he respects her power. I know I've said in my previous reviews that Willow sometimes appears weak. It still happens, buuut at least we see that Landen acknowledges her power and is not just shielding her. What I don't like is how Willow is kept in the dark. But now they have a justification for it, which I didn't quite catch the first time I read the book.
Now, let me say my piece on Phoenix... I mean... How can you not love the guy? I thought Drake was my favorite but COME ON, the sarcasm, the banter. I LOVE PHOENIX SO MUCH, and his relationship with Willow is just *chef's kiss*.
Last paragraph before this review is officially too long. Enflame is all about the deep meaning of the characters' fate. I feel like it sets this book apart from the previous ones, at least in the Insight series. It's a beautiful turning point in the series, you can feel everyone getting more and more powerful, remembering their past, accepting their fate... This is also the first book in which the core theme of the series is mentioned. This is a spoiler free review but iykyk... Again, this was so satisfying to reread!
In this book Landed and Willow go through some big changes that effect their personalities. We also meet some new players in the game. This book, for me, was a little more difficult to understand because we are moving deeper into what needs to happen. That being said, I still love this series.
This book was amazing. It was a great installment in the series and I can not wait for the next one. I had some minor issues but other than those the book was just spectacular. I have read every book and will continue to read the ones past this one. I am nervous to read Redefined but we will see how that goes. This book is a must read for anyone that loves a good paranormal book. And for anyone that needs a good romance book. Is not like anything that is out there right now. This series consumes you and doesn't let you go. And you do not want it to.
"I had no idea how damaged I was, how damaged Madison was, but I knew one thing: with souls like Landen and Drake to protect and love us, we would not be broken for long-and God help the evil we were fighting when we regained our strength once more."
I loved this series. This last one for some reason wasn't as good to me. But nevertheless, the series was great. I feel like I learned life lessons from these books, haha.
You really have to follow the plot since it is very tied up and complex, but it was great. These books really pull your emotions around and you really feel for the characters once you get to know them. I love the family concept too. The characters are very different and have grown so much since the first few books. You really follow them on their long journey and go through the trials with them. It just gets more and more complex and i would never have guessed that the things in this book were going to be like this. It got much bigger thats for sure.
Overall, very creative, I would recommended these books to anyone.
This book represents more of the what the 'See' characters were talking about, compared to last 'Insight' books the characters focused on the immediate to them problems, when in actuality that was more of a distraction to the bigger problem. It was nice to read about the male lead growing and realizing how much bigger the issue is and looking outside of the box to find the root of the problem, the female lead is so infuriating she was more focused on herself instead of growing and looking at the bigger picture. It's nice to read that progress is finally being made after so many books into the series it's a bit longer than i expected for everyone to realize the real danger, and disappointing. The supporting characters were amusing with their banter and personalities.
If you are a lover of Willow and Landon and the Insight Series you don't want to miss Enflame. We are introduced to some new characters who add a whole new piece to the puzzle. So far I'm really liking the new guy on the block Phoenix. Jamie has a way off adding to the series and keeping it fresh so you come back again and again.
If you haven't read the rest of the series then I don't recommend this book for you. If you have then by all means do read it and find out what's going with your favorite characters and whose coming into the scenes new.
Evil VS .Good Lightness Vs Darkness whose going to come out on top in the end of this?
Landen and Willow are reeling from discovering that Dane and Clarissa are dead and are becoming witnesses in order to help them with their trials. Landen's eyes are open to remember his past lives. He under goes a lot changes due to this. More characters are introduced and Willow has to deal with her jealousy. Great one to help build the strength of each character for what they will go through in the future.
This is the ninth book in the Web of Hearts and Souls series, as well as the sixth in the Insight series. Willow needs to find balance, as more of Landen's past has been revealed to him. They are forced to work with some people from his past, as Willow has to learn to let others live their own destinies. Can't wait for the next Insight book!
My favorite so far from the insight series I really love it, I love how Landen is all new and has new power, is awesome I hope Willow gets to be as him it'll be cool. I can wait to read the next book on this series.
I have to say I am enjoying these books I just love the characters and their stories the southern is amazing she bring it to life and keeps the story going and it would be a great TV show it's never ending.
This was a great book. Love the way the characters are growing. Can't wait until the next book comes out. This series is great for any age group. So if you are not a YA give it a try.
