3.5 stars. Good historical. Main character was very immature in beginning - manipulative and selfish. She did grow up (great!). I really liked Colin but needed more about who he was - a little more on him would have elevated. Interesting time period and location. Enjoyed the D/s thread and there is some bondage but I'd call this the lighter side of kink. Of a good length with some nice plot elements. Looking forward to reading more from the author!
