I Know I'm Not Alone: A Musician's Journey Through War And Occupation in Iraq, Palestine & Israel

Rate this book
Equipped with his guitar, some video cameras, and a few friends, musician Michael Franti set off for Iraq, Palestine, and Israel to experience the human cost of war firsthand. With eloquence and wit, I KNOW I’M NOT ALONE takes us to three war zones to experience the horror, humanity, and resilience he witnessed. Like his documentary of the same name, his book offers a raw and intimate sense of travel, filled with the voices of everyday people living, creating, and surviving in the harsh conditions of war.
