Raith has never been in love. In fact, he's spent his entire existence as the terror in mortal nightmares. When he enters Emilee's dream, he discovers that his powers do not work on her and she can see him as well. Being Fae he isn't allowed to show himself to a human, but there is something different about Emilee.

It was very sweet and romantic..Love how Raith and Emilee met and fell in love...Till the end of the book..When all of a sudden Ms. Kamery Solomon ended the story...It just when "The end"...It should had a better ending, specially when the rest of the book was sweet...So yes, I was disappointed how Ms.Solomon deteriorated the ending...
This book was purely amazing. I loved the flow of it. And the characters. I couldn't put it down. It drew me into the story and captured my attention. I loved everything about it. Wish there was more. Really glad I took a chance on reading it <3
A fae with a fondness for causing nightmares stumbles upon a woman who is not susceptible to his tricks... he stays anyways and ends up falling in love... enjoyable read.
For centuries, Raith has snuck into the dreams of humans to cause mischief and mayhem. Though he used to thrive on being a troublemaker, he’s since become bored with his immortal life as a Fae. When he wanders into Emilee’s dream, he soon realizes he can’t control her dream and twist it in any way he wishes. She’s different, and he doesn’t know why. Emilee can also see him, which has never happened to him before. As they interact and get to know one another in the dream, Raith soon realizes what he needs to be happy and complete, but a Fae and a human cannot have a future together. Or so he believes. I really enjoyed this story. The H/h are strong characters, and they have an instant connection. Raith was definitely mischievous, but he matured as he fell in love with Emilee. She was exactly what he needed. Emilee, as well, needed an escape from her own sad life, and she literally met the man of her dreams. The story is told only in Raith’s POV and in first person, so the reader really gets to know and understand what makes him tick. The pacing was a little slow and repetitive at times, and there were some typos, but nothing major. The ending is abrupt with unanswered questions, but there is a satisfying HEA. Anyway, this is a very sweet, heartwarming, and mostly clean (no sex) novella, and I’d like to read more from Ms. Solomon. 4 Stars
Forever by Kamery Solomon is a cute story about a Fae named Raith who is a dreamwalker. His favorite past-time activity is to torture people in their sleep through nightmares. That all changes one night when he walks into Emilee's dream. While most people cannot see Raith, Emilee can. She intrigues Raith, and he cannot stay away. He comes back to her dreams many times and before he knows what's happened, he's fallen in love. But there are rules against Fae and humans and to be together, they'll have to break them all. I love books about Fae, and I found the description to be inviting. Forever is more of a novella than a full-length story, but I enjoyed it. There's not a lot of background information either. However I thought the author did a great job of weaving the story together without having to go back and explain past events. The characters Raith and Emilee have great chemistry together. We don't really know a lot about these characters outside the dreams, and I couldn't help but wonder what did they do when not asleep. However despite that, I found I enjoyed the story. It's a quick read. It does have a few grammatical errors, but if you can overlook that, then you'll find this story entertaining. I liked the way the author ended the book, but it also left me wanting more. This was a free book off of Amazon and well worth the price! Read more at http://www.2readornot2read.com/2013/1...
The story is set in Raith's POV. He is an immortal fae who invades human dreams and turns them into nightmares. That is, until, he met Emilee in one of her dreams. His original plans changed as he realized that he was falling in love with her. He also faces the problem of finding a way of spending forever with the mortal Emilee.
The not so good points... The plot deserved a longer story. I would have appreciated it more if it was a full-length novel. I thought some parts of the story have been rushed. I also had trouble believing the emotions in some parts of the book. I mean, how can he suddenly realize he loves Emilee after just two dreams? I think even the emotions were a bit hurried. I was also a bit disappointed with the ending. It was a sweet ending but i expected more from it.
The good points... Because it's a novella, it can be read in one sitting. The story is so sweet and romantic. I even consider it as a modern fairy tale. The author has maintained the romance without the sex scenes. Yes it worked. In this novel I didn't mind the lack of those scenes (we know it's a very important part of most romantic stories lol).
Overall, the story is easy to read and enjoyable and I had fun reading. I just wished it had been longer so i wouldn't feel like it was rushed.
Forever was pure poetry to watch unfold as Raith falls for Emilee little by little. And even more amazing was that the large majority of this story played out in a single setting, yet it never lost my attention or the momentum of the pacing. The nights on the dance floor were pure gems, precious moments of stolen time. It came to an ending all too quickly and, yes, Raith was a fascinating point of view growing from his malicious nature, to curious, to fascinated. The ending felt rushed (as happens all too often) and borrowed heavily from the movie Heaven Can Wait (one of my mother’s favorites), while the story up till that point felt original as the scenes played out leisurely. I would easily read this over several more times just to spend more time with Emilee and Raith on the dance floor. Considering this novella is free, it won’t cost future readers anything to scoop up this gem and love the characters as much as I loved them myself.
I liked the story but I just didn't like Raith that much. Yes, in the end love turned him around to be willing to sacrifice everything for love but before that he was kind of a douche bag so there you have it. But other than that it was an interesting, creative story and yes a love story in the end. What would you be willing to give up to take a chance on love.
This was one of the sweetest Fae love stories I've ever read. Raith has spent hundreds of years acting up and prankish humans in their sleep, but even that is beginning to bore him. When he stumbles across a girl's dream, and she not only sees him but can control her own dream, he is intrigued. I love how far they are willing to go to be together. I would definitely read more from this author.
I've read other thinks by Ms. Solomon that I really liked but personally, I just couldn't get caught up in this story and characters It clearly had some charms, but, possibly because it is an early work and she had not yet developed her skills, this one just did not engage me. She's written better.
This was a pretty quick read for me, but a really cute story. It didn't need to be long and drawn out. It was sweet, magical and I found it to be a great introduction to Kamery Solomon. I'm really looking forward to reading more of her books.
A naughty Fae invades a lonely woman's dreams and finds himself falling in love. this novella did get interesting toward tthe end, however, it was hard to believe a rule-breaking, loner fairy would cry over a relationship. free download is the perfect reason to read this story.
I liked this short read. It was very sweet & romantic. It proves that destiny cannot me messed with; it we r meant to be with some for the rest of our lives, then nothing will intervene with that; it'll happen. I wish it had been a bit longer but I enjoyed it nevertheless. =)
Raith and Emilie have a dream love. So glad there was a happy ending. Good editing. Just a nice feel good love story. Lots of kissing and sharing the love of dance. A good short story.
Sweet short story with the Fae! Quite enjoyed this one. Being a short story it doesn't go into a lot of depth, however being a reader who appreciates shorts, this was very well done.
Raith is a Fae, who has had his share of troubles. But once he meets Emilee will he change? If you like romance and a touch of magic this is a great read!
