Loved the story, Hatred the ending

Jack Norman had a great story idea centered in an actual event in "Broken Crystal." I enjoyed reading the book and the cast of supporting characters. At times, there was too much explanation and/or description that muddied the plot development, but I quickly learned to speed read through those sections. The main thing that I didn't like was the ending. Mr Norman used his last chapter as a summary catch all for his characters instead of continuing the narrative of the story. It felt like he had written his quota of pages and needed to finish the book as quickly as possible. That being said, I did like the book and very glad I chose it to read.
