I found this in Ireland. My goal while I was there was to find an interesting/beautiful Irish picture book - something in the Oliver Jeffers family... This one is by Dial, but the author is Irish and the illustrator is from the UK. The illustrations are bright and vibrant and wild animals get to revenge themselves on a rude little boy. (Picture books were children are eaten tend to be some of my favorites.)

A great book with even better illustrations. It had a great plot and I would read it to a K-2 class, but the ending was a little sad

It's a cute story and fun illustrations, but I'm so glad I read it myself before reading it to my 4-year old son - the ending is a shock!
