Margaret Peterson Haddix grew up on a farm near Washington Court House, Ohio. She graduated from Miami University (of Ohio) with degrees in English/journalism, English/creative writing and history. Before her first book was published, she worked as a newspaper copy editor in Fort Wayne, Indiana; a newspaper reporter in Indianapolis; and a community college instructor and freelance writer in Danville, Illinois.

She has since written more than 25 books for kids and teens, including Running Out of Time; Don’t You Dare Read This, Mrs. Dunphrey; Leaving Fishers; Just Ella; Turnabout; Takeoffs and Landings; The Girl with 500 Middle Names; Because of Anya; Escape from Memory; Say What?; The House on the Gulf; Double Identity; Dexter the Tough; Uprising; Palace of Mirrors; Claim to Fame; the Shadow Children series; and the Missing series. Read this a long time ago. But I still remember being excited to read these books...it's a great choice for kids, teens interested in science fiction, history....it's a great book in general, really.
I think I'll read it again soon!

I read this back in middle school and I thought it was amazing its not quite my cup of tea anymore but I still love to go back and read it here and there for the nostalgia cause a good book is a good book

Amazing series! Slightly confusing but good! I began this series last year, but this year had to reread it, and now it makes more sense! Love this!

I liked the first two books of this time travel series, but books three and four really slowed down. I was excited that "Caught" the fifth book was again a better book. I was interested in that book. There are 8 books total in this series.

The books are so cool. Jonah and Catherine are intelligent in there own ways. However,Gary and Hodge got freed after the time ripple second has caused. But Jonah and Catherine managed to save JB and their other friends, Including Virginia Dare. And finally Albert Einstein's daughter

Great if you love history! End of each books explains the period they visit!
