Finished at last. This book is well written with many texts that serve as examples. Mind you, it isn’t for a complete beginners as it requires an instructor to guide the learning process. That being said, I highly recommend it. It covers grammar, punctuation, and aspects of writing. What I love most about it is that is moves gradually and in order. starting from a simple sentence (subject and verb), explaining types of sentences (dependent and independent sentences+ conjunctions) to building a complete simple paragraph (which its contents are: a topic sentence, supporting sentences, and finaly a conclusion paragraph). Also, at the end of each chapter, there are several topic suggestions for writing in your journal. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
This book is really great. Finish all five books of it's series and become a professional writer. This is the only book you need. You will learn both academic writing and grammar practically.
