I've been a Yankees fan for many years so this book was a great trip through history and memories, especially of the teams of the late 1970s when I lived in the Bronx and could just decide on a whim to take the subway down to see a game. All the drama with Reggie Jackson, Billy Martin, and George Steinbrenner came back. I even remember being at the game where the Reggie Bar was introduced (it was kind of like an O Henry or Baby Ruth but not put together very well). I'd like to say I threw mine on the field with thousands of others, but it was eaten long before then! Obviously it's dated since there has been a new dynasty since then, but it was a fun read. I can hardly wait for my next trip to Yankee Stadium!
