This is a great mystery novel. As a teacher, I have to say I've had the same thoughts as Bonnie about my students, their parents and the superintendent.

This was an ok read it was short and sweet, probably would not read anything else from this author. Was completely obsessed with the saying “imp of the perverse” which I got sick of reading and just kind of ruined the book for me

This book is full of suspense. People get inn trouble, that are really not suppose to. The adults in the book, fall for the show one specific kids puts on, they need to look at all the facts. Near the end though they finally pay attention to all of the facts, and clues that they missed. They adults get lead into believing one story, and then they find clues to another. All sorts of people get set up, and thought that they did something that they really did not do. People get tricked, trapped, and saved, but yet some should get saved that don't. It is a great book, but you might not get it if you don't read the first one, first. The first one is called The Witch of Angesi. Believe me once you start this book you will not want to put it down!

Excellent read. The characters are well written, the mystery believable. Not a cookie-cutter 'cozy mystery' but one that makes the reader work a bit.

This is actually the second book written, but the first story chronologically.
