Blessed Solanus Casey is a fantastic story of a man who grew up on a farm with his parents and siblings. After becoming a Priest, he was never given the full faculties and held the job of porter or doorman. Despite this seeming ordinary job, he counseled people and prayed for them. Fr. Solanus Casey’s prayers were responsible for many miraculous cures and events.

A good account of the life of this whole man. This is the official account -- an excerpt of what went to Rome for his canonization cause. It is a bit repetitive especially in the end sections talking about his virtues. Really a remarkable portrait of a remarkable man.

A biography taken from the official account for sainthood as sent to Rome. As such it is sometimes repetitive but still a readable and most excellent biography of a saint within our midst.
