Welcome to the Eververse. Here all things are possible, home to a myriad of mythical creatures such as witches, demons, and shapeshifters, and no one is quite who - or what - they seem. Feyd and Fallon live a life of reckless indulgence as they travel the world working as thieves and assassins for some of the Eververse elite, and making sure they enjoy every second of it. When Fallon's old flame Astrid, a charming, powerful, sexy witch and her friend Ash, an equally alluring demon show up, the dynamic duo's shallow existence gets rather complicated. Astrid is the perfect compliment to Fallon's wild temperament, and Ash just may be the first, and only, woman able to tame Feyd. But can they find happiness or will their enemies, lurking in the shadows, destroy their newfound love before it has the chance to blossom?
Sugar and Sin is a complex and haunting tale, with rich character development and an immersive world, in the same vein as Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunters or Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. The writing is fast-paced and flows well, the dialog witty and endlessly entertaining. Fallon and Feyd's antics and banter will have the reader laughing aloud.
Once again, the Price sisters have penned a stunningly unique and adventurous tale that pulls the reader in from the start and spits them out at the conclusion, breathless and hungry for more. There's no lag in the book; the story starts with an action-packed bang and keeps up its unrelenting pace until the very last page. This isn't your grandmother's romance novel. And that's a very, very good thing.
This book was recommended to me by AmyC. I'm glad for it too. I totally fell in love with this book and it's characters. Sugar and Sin is the first book in the Eververse series. If Paranormal Romance, demons, witches and magic are your thing... this book is for you. Stella and Audra Price are at the top of their game and defintley deserve your attention.
This is the first book in the Eververse series and it is quite different from other books that I have read. You have royal demons, 1/2 demons and witches.
The story starts out with two modern day James Bond, the dynamic dual Fallon and Feyd. They are hitmen... thieves... they LOVE women, you name it, they'll do it.. even the women.
They are sent out by their boss to recover a stolen spell. They killed the werewolf that was suppose to have stolen a spell. They kill him before they got further information but finds out that his "girlfriend" may have kept it. The hit is now on her...
Ashlyn has no idea what is going on... her friend is killed, she's on the run and ask the help of her friend Astrid and head to Shadow Heights. One night when Ashlyn and Astrid were asleep the hitmen comes for Ashlyn... The man that is there to kill her happens to be the same one she has been talking to for a few weeks in very explicit ways and the other hitman happens to be her flatmate's long lost boyfriend ... Things get complicated...
You are introduced to the Afterverse where demons dwell and the exiled Prince, Cassiel (Cash). He is working his way back to reclaim the thrown in Afterverse... he is plotting his way back along with claiming allies to do so. Arcady... a pleasure demon has the nickname of Mr. Fantasy with the ladies and also helps the dynamic dual as much as he can
I thought that this is a great first book into this world where there are unanswered question that I can't wait to read the other books for them to be revealed.
Absolutely fantastic and enjoyable read. This hot story is full of sexy and endowed demons with lots of stamina that is guarantee to have you licking your lips and drooling heavily. All the characters were totally addicting with their humorous personalities and bad ass abilities and attitudes. The interaction between them had me cracking out loud in laughter. The plot and demon world was well creative and left me wanting to know more about these crazy demons in their quest for power, revenge, and their sexual lusty appetites. I am totally hooked and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

My thoughts:
Sugar and Sin introduces us to several players - and I do mean players. Fallon and his BFF Feyd are man whores - adding notches to their bedposts daily.
That is until they realize that they have found 'the one' in Astrid and Ashlyn.
Fallon spent more time with Astrid than any other woman he's ever known, told her things he's never spoken about with another - and she still loves him. That is unbelievable to someone with a past like Fallon.
Feyd is a bed 'em and leave 'em kinda guy - he never lets the door hit him in the a$$ on his way out. Then he meets Ashlyn and he can actually think about a possible future with her.
But things in their world are unstable - and it seems like more than a few people want something from Astrid and Ashlyn. Before anyone can think about a future together - they have to take care of the here and now.
I am intrigued by this Eververse and give Sugar and Sin 3 out of 5 stars. I'm looking forward to the rest of this series.
Welcome to the Eververse…and hang on tight ‘cause you’re in for a wild ride in a world full of demons, witches, magic, love, murder, and anything else imaginable that can be thrown your way. In Sugar and Sin, we meet Feyd and Fallon – hitmen of sorts, whose jobs involve breaking and entering, torture, interrogations, and assassinations…whatever it takes to finish the jobs they’re hired to do. They’re looking for a spell, and they think they’ve found it. Now they just have to “dispose of” the girl that has it so they can get on with their long-overdue vacation with the gorgeous witch, Astrid, whom Fallon fell for a while back, and a lovely low-level demon, Ashlyn, that Feyd has been talking to for weeks.
Ashlyn’s friend has just been killed, and the guys that took him out are now looking for her. She makes plans to hide out with her witch friend, Astrid, who vows to keep her safe. Things take an interesting turn when Feyd and Fallon learn that Ashlyn is their hit, and there’s no way they will be finishing that job. Now, they’ll move in with Ash and Astrid to help keep her safe and hidden from the ones who hired them.
We’re meet a TON of characters, including Cash – a royal demon who is planning to take back the throne and is gathering allies along the way. I’m not even going to try and summarize everything that happens and all of the twists and turns we run into, but everyone’s paths are about to cross in some way or another.
Sugar and Sin is a great introduction to this fantasy world, and while a lot happens and we are introduced to a somewhat overwhelming amount of people, I loved this world and everyone in it. It’s laugh-out-loud funny, scorching HOT, and action packed that starts at the beginning and never lets up. I was left with quite a few questions, but I will gladly be reading the rest of the books in the series to learn the answers.

Astrid Buchamps is a witch. A long time ago she fell in love with a teleport demon, named Fallon, who became her lover. They had a good thing going. Astrid never believed that she would ever see or touch Fallon again. Now they have a second chance with each other. It seems Astrid and Fallon aren’t the only ones stirring up some heat. Astrid’s friend, Ashlyn Co’shott has a crush on Feyd, who is Fallon’s friend. Everyone is enjoying themselves till Cassiel, a prince and one of the most powerful demons makes an Astrid an offer she can’t refuse. You never know what’s going to happen in Eververse.
Though I liked the fantasy aspect of this book and the love scenes were pretty hot, that is about all I liked about this book. I got lost so quickly while reading this book. I had a hard time figuring out what the story was suppose to be about. I still can’t really tell you, even after finishing Sugar and Sin. The characters I found to be not very interesting to me. Very disappointing book. Sugar and Sin is the first book that takes place in Eververse but I don’t think I will read the other ones in this series.
Book 1 in the Eververse Series, Feyd and Fallon are the best when it comes to killing and obtaining object for people. They are on a mission to find a stolen spell that supposedly a low level Fire Demon named Ashlyn Co'shott has. They don't mind having a little fun in the process but one night an old flame of Fallons named Astrid gets in touch with him. Fallon decides to meet up with her during his vacation and talks Feyd into going with him. It didn't take much convincing when Feyd heard about Astrid's gorgeous and single roommate. They get word about where Ashlyn Co'shott is hiding and decide to take out their mark early so there Vacation can start early. They sneak into Ashlyn's bedroom and just when there ready to kill her Astrid burst through the door. This is just the beginning, this book is packed with a lot action and steam! It's a complex story, lots of information and characters which I'm sure sets up nicely for the rest of the series. Very well written and story has a good flow, some parts will even have you laughing out loud. It's definitely an Adult only book!
The thing I like most about this authors books is that she pretty much stays on par with what you would expect from a demon and how the characters are so imperfect they are almost real. She uses a lot of situations most people wouldn't be comfortable with but in my opinion perfectly fit the nature of the character. When writing about darker beings, one would expect darker things and their acceptance of out of the ordinary situations, just seems right. The girl characters are awesome in her series, always supportive and never judgy. This book fits right on par with the 13 Shades series and introduces you to some of the main players in the series. I like Fallon because out of all her characters (except maybe the dragons) he needed Astrid. Happiness is a token all beings need!!! It was a great read with lots of yummy sex!!
Feyd and Fallon are thieves and perform odd jobs, and they also just happen to be demons. They are sent to kill Alec Mallory and his girlfriend over a spell. The two are constantly getting into trouble because they think with the wrong part of their anatomy. Their partner/boss George is constantly grounding them and telling them that they can’t go explore the wonders of whatever city they’re in. The pair thumb their noses at him and proceed to do their own thing...

Astrid is a powerful witch. But even with all her power, she can't stop thinking about Fallon. They had some good times together but she hasn't seen him since.
Fallon has had his share of women. But the one he keeps thinking of is Astrid. He and his friend are on a job at a house, not knowing it was Astrid's house.
They reconnect, along with her friend and Feyd. But soon they have trouble ahead, and have to put their heads together to find a solution. This book is funny, sexy, and thoroughly entertaining
