Dj actually really enjoyed this! With some dramatic reading and animation it can be really fun. Just don’t think the story really sticks, and ends up feeling like fluff.

Every creature is bothered by the bumblebee's buzzing, except the butterfly...they decide to buzz away together in friendship. A cute story for repetition and movement.

Used for "UGH!...BUGS!" Storytime-September, 2010.

A requests this book a lot. I modify it to sometimes make the noise of the animal instead of just say Buzz off. For example, donkey says 'hee-haw', crow says 'caw'. Nice to teach animals and animal parts (tail, beak etc). The book has a nice rhythm.

Simple and colorful with a sweet ending. Read in Family Storytime despite reservations about the "buzz off" catchphrase. Kids didn't totally love it but elicited a few "Awws!" from the parents. Will read again.

I'm so sad that these Giggle Club books are out of print. They're good storytime picks!

Not brilliant. I was a bit lost by it tbh, and Spike seemed to be a bit bored of it straight away
