Made it about halfway through this but gave up when one of the daily devotionals was written in support of the death penalty in modern society

I read this this devotional in 92 and 94 and partially a time or two. First time I followed the straight through track. Second time, the Variety Plan track. Both have their merits. I remember thinking this was a lot of reading, including Richard's commentary, but it was very helpful! Some days there are a lot of chapters to read from and other days just a few verses. That can be frustrating on busy days but setting aside time and sticking with it is the key.
I am consulting the variety plan for my church to go through in 2017. There are a lot of reading plans out their to choose from. This one will likely influence the direction that we take.
Regardless of the plan. Stick to it!

Great resource if your devotional time is falling short. Gets you through the bible in a year while giving you relevant and helpful devotionals throughout the year

A really great resource for scripture study. Thanks to my husband for passing this one along to me. I'm not really "finishing" this one, it will continue to be used for frequent reference.
